$3000 of croud funding (100% props and costumes) some money by me over the years...but mostly 6 years of time i've put in on all the green screen/VFX etc.
More than 1 for sure! But a single individual can still use systems and progress in their plan, remember Beverley crusher when she was in the static warpshell, she was very pro active as a single crew member on the ship. Besides, Harriman knew it was never going to be full steam ahead with just him...just the computer can him him do a lot of basic stuff.
It looks great but I find it out of place with all the others aesthetically. I wish for these sorts of cross-overs the TMP era Constitution class was used.
If there was danger of a warp core breach, shouldn't the ships be as far apart as possible while remaining in transporter range, as opposed to pulling up so close together? What reason would there be to pull so close together anyway? It seems unnecessarily risky to be closer than a few ship-lengths apart.
Very nice CGI and greenscreen. Flurry of new characters introduced towards the end - could be paced more. Next time - a makeup department? What is it with starfleet higher-ups being insane and arseholes?
Only the British Starship Captains, it seems. The Captain is clearly insane. RAther than working with 5 ensigns, he attacked other federation ships. He's just jumping all over the place: Borg, Romulan, changeling. How about Klingon and Hirogen?
@@JosephWiess He is a captain, the others are ensign. A captain is higher than an ensign. He ordered them to beam aboard his vessel so they can repair it and help him find his crew. They refused. hahahha! Perfect reference...perfect catch!
Well done, looking forward to part 2. Not sure what Archer's grandson has against Archer. He's a damned fine captain and had to face things that Kirk and Picard could only dream about.
Maybe Archer has the same problem I had in high school following my sister! "Oh! You're xxx's brother! I bet you're as smart as she was! (she was a straight A student, athlete, etc.! Not me!) "Oh! You're Captain Johnathan Archer's grandson! Etc, etc."
"... Artificial gravity still holding, that never fails." 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣
Neverrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr fails ;)
Pt 1 had me going. Good story telling!
Thank you so much! go enjoy part 2 then ;) :D and comment again a more detailed review...id love to hear what you thought!
Have you had a chance to check out part 2? Things set up in part 1 are given a cool resolution in part 2, I think!
YES!!!lots of spaceships .....heehee at last really gooood effects ,and i like that the backgrounds are computer made yet effects with other things are really good .Part two here i come " gravity never fails " haha.. thanks power 543...
Great job so far. Nice to see this finally was able to come out. Just trying to figure out why Munro is so parnoid. About to see Part 2 and what happens next.
Take a look and let us know what you thought after all is revealed! Comment on part 2 though as its all spoilers haha!
God-bless you guys for taking the time to do such an amazing production zinc production I sat back expecting to laugh at what I was going to see based on what I was watching previously this evening from other star trek fan works and works your stuff is top notch excellent product, Was it perfect for these picky star trek fans when star trek discovery sucks. I found this far more entertaining keep up the great work guys.
IDK what the budget was for this, but its already way better then CBS Trek!!!
$3000 of croud funding (100% props and costumes) some money by me over the years...but mostly 6 years of time i've put in on all the green screen/VFX etc.
I’m actually surprised. This isn’t half bad. Good job guys
Those aren't Star Fleet regulation side burns! And, no zippers!
The anomoly took the crews and left the Brits 😂 all joking aside, the starship visuals are quite lovely!
that zipper on the shirt is driving me insane
17:31 dorsal phasers would be the ones coming from he top (dorsal) part of the ship
Awesome job , I loved it
Computer, question, how many people does it take to run the flagship of the federation?
More than 1 for sure! But a single individual can still use systems and progress in their plan, remember Beverley crusher when she was in the static warpshell, she was very pro active as a single crew member on the ship.
Besides, Harriman knew it was never going to be full steam ahead with just him...just the computer can him him do a lot of basic stuff.
I really love the look of the Constitution class ships.
It looks great but I find it out of place with all the others aesthetically. I wish for these sorts of cross-overs the TMP era Constitution class was used.
I am a simple man, I see an Excelsior-class ship aiding a Galaxy-class ship and I am content
Yes! I am Peter Kelly a fan of the original Excelsior class! Was very happy to see how they all came together in part 2 as well!
The effects keep getting better. Actually, to be honest, the Sovereign never looked so good ... And it was in three big-budget movies.
If there was danger of a warp core breach, shouldn't the ships be as far apart as possible while remaining in transporter range, as opposed to pulling up so close together? What reason would there be to pull so close together anyway? It seems unnecessarily risky to be closer than a few ship-lengths apart.
Harriman was confident he could help fix it! This all makes sense when you finish part 2
Movie quality 3d ship models!
Looks great Samuel, fantastic job!
Awesome job. This had a feature film feeling. Loved hearing Drexler in it too.
ok ok but why would you go to the origianl enterprise instead of the ensign from there going to the e?
Because Ensign Harriman went over to try and fix the Excalibur before it warp core exploded, it was to help repair his ship.
Thank you so much for making this. 1000 times better than Alex Kurtzman's ST:D! Excellent story!
I've said it before and I'll say it again, season two of Star Trek Discovery was terrific!
@@mariakelly1059 You can say it as many times as you wish, but it doesn't "make it so"! :o)
@@Nobody_114 It does to me, and that's the important thing, not what a bunch of Canon Extremists think.
Does plan Betazed involve Tequila?
The green screens and cgi gave me turtle aids and it was so worth it
They really did a great job on the Excalibur set!!
The Starfleet higher-ups are ALWAYS insane. You have to be at least a little crazy to even make Rear Admiral. Tell no one I told you that.
@@JosephWiess
He is a captain, the others are ensign. A captain is higher than an ensign. He ordered them to beam aboard his vessel so they can repair it and help him find his crew. They refused. At the very least they disobeyed a direct order from a superior. With bioneural circuitry, I don't know how interchangable the parts are.
Have you had a chance to check out part 2? A lot of the issues set up in part 1 are made clear in the resolution!
@@drmayeda1930 no they didn't see any logical reason because the Enterprise both of them were needed in their timeline to destroy the enterprises three of them would mean to destroy the history
Not bad, thanks for the upload. These videos actually got better reviews than CBS' Discovery series.
Good job for 3D cgi, and Green Screen. Awesome. I have thought about attempting something similar with the ships.
Now that dude is properly bonkers.
