- Picked up this 2007 Charcoal Grey Yamaha R1. It's pretty much stock with a few tasteful upgrades.
Yamaha GYTR comfort seat
Yamaha aluminum LED side markers
Sequential LED tail light
+ more upgrades to come
R1 2006 , 2007 is still the best looking bike for me even today.even the sound is better than the later ones.

Superb r1,,, love this superbike.
R1 made between 04 to 08 was, is and will always be the sexiest looking super sport bike ever made anywhere around the world 😍😍😘😘,and yes !! I am pointing to the Italians as well. If it was fitted with a single sided swing arm and 4 pipe under seat TOCE exhaust muffler, It would have been even more sexier.😥😥...Yamaha should have retained this look in all the up coming gens of the R1. It should have been made available with all the modern bells n whistels eg ABS, traction control etc. It looked killer in red, silver black and gold combo.😍
A sexy bike indeed!!! I wanted the Toce exhaust but it’s not easy to find here $$. I’ll be keeping this R1 for a loooong time! 😎
@@romeojhd3720 ..just close ur eyes and imagine if this bike was in cheery red color with golden wheels and a silky silver colored under belly fairing, those toce 4 pipe under seat exhaust and a single sided swing arm like the ducaties.!!.....try and get the picture my mate !! @@michealortiz3350 The 08 ZX10R is a nice machine and has a powerful motor, but the R1 is a better looking bike and well rounded IMO.
I’ve seen STOCK R1s smoke ZX10Rs, so being faster is debatable. Ride safe bro. 😎

Hey, I’m looking at a 2007 r1 with 18k miles, everything is stock, he asking for 6k. He said sometimes the neutral light goes out. Do you think this would be a good buy & any problems with these past 18k miles? Thank you
This is my first R1, the previous owner was an enthusiast so I lucked out. If the bike you’re interested in is in great shape and the only issue is the neutral light, see if he’s willing to negotiate. It could just be a faulty neutral switch or a bad connection somewhere. My advice is to take your time and inspect everything on the bike. Also, make sure there’s no odd engine noise. If you’re still unsure, get the bike checked out. Hope that helps, and check out the r1-forums, tons of good resources!

Yes the bike is completely stock.

Used motorcycle prices have skyrocketed over here, so prolly between $8-$10k for a pristine low mileage R1.

Why it doesn't have the ugly exhaust sound that other crossplane engines make?
It’s a standard inline 4 cylinder engine

The Toce exhaust would be nice but the Termignoni CF will suffice! 🤓
