That’s a great looking amp! Sounds good I can’t wait to see your next video to see what you can dial in with it once you’ve had a bit to play it!

So how well do you think this amp stacks up to the Fillmore sound?

Hey Eric, As far as Fillmore Tone…Let me start by saying that my version of the Fillmore Tone consist of any recording I can find played through a pair of Adam A7x monitors and the Adam Sub. So that's my reference. When I opened up the box I plugged right into the first side with the EQ section cranked the gain lowered the master EQ was all set to noon….and in the room its everything I hear through my monitors. Its very touch sensitive, dynamic and open. I know it sound like I'm trying to sell you this but I don't get any money from any of this. I really think these guys are on to something with these pedals, amps and pickups. Yes The Allman Brothers did not use to much gear….but to play a coffee house, small bar or bedroom this is going to be awesome! ~cheers ~John

@@schopfieldmusic6329 I ended up getting one and it’s crazy how close it is to Duane’s tone and I haven’t even got it dialed in perfect yet. Thanks brother

This doesn't sound at all like the ABB. I play a clean, JC-22 amp at low volume, so I'm not going to get it on my videos, but you've got this cranked and it does not sound good. EdA1 channel plays the head through cab and he gets it to sound right. This video doesn't give any ABB tone whatsoever

Why play an epiphone man… Gave the amp no chance of sounding like the goat!

The opening riff was done an a Gibson R7 with custom buckers. I put some MLA Peacock pickups and wired the Epi with pushback wire…sounds killer. Check ou the video man...ruclips.net/video/FOgtMMO4J7o/видео.html

My man why would play premium amp with not such a premium guitar.
I would have a Gibson Les Paul gold top with 57 Classics or burstbucker’s would sound so much better.

Thank you for the comment. To be honest in the intro.. that was a Gibson r7. This Epiphone has some magic though……stay tuned as we mod it with the Peacock Pickup set from Missing Link Audio. ~cheers

Over the past year this company has dropped their standards exponentially. Quality Control & build/ship times are poor at best and customer service is virtually non existent. There are better products out there for less money by companies that actually want to work with you. Personal opinion : stay away from mla.
    Great review though.

Thank you for the kind words. Working with Mark in the beginning was nice. I am quite novice at these reviews. I’m certainly no professional guitarist by any means. I do have dreams though. I believe the words “empty promises” had come around. Now this may have been partially my fault as I say I’m novice with these reviews and unfamiliar with how to work with companies. This was the first company I received pickups from for a review. I was promised a pedal for this amp review I never got. Again this may be due to my lack of understanding how to work with companies for RUclips. I want to say thank you to everyone who has supported our channel. We strive for unbiased reviews. With that in mind this amp, pedals and pickups I have are really just glorious. The note blooms of this amp, the beautiful distortion from the pedals and the open airy-ness of the pickups.
      ~cheers John

@@schopfieldmusic6329 My friend your review was great. Now I'm an older guy just getting back into playing but I understand reviews are just one person's opinion. There are a lot of reviews on utube that are just some drunk guy who dime all the knobs on 10pedals & play with their wigglestick. Then there are those guys that no matter what they get ' it's perfect". I look for a fair, honest & objective opinion. If you got a guitar with an 8inch radius neck & the tone pot was weird I appreciate the guys that mention this without being rude. That way I can go back &. Double check the specks myself and see what I missed. There are no music stores within 100 miles of me so this becomes important. I say just be fair& honest. 👍👍 Again, nice job - keep them reviews coming

@@thomasd9237 Yes there are a bunch of reviews on youtube for sure. I appreciate the people who are not bought and sold by companies. It's hard to find these days. I feel like youtube is quickly becoming no different then TV with all the adds as well..The perfect players if not already will be bought and sold. I have followed so many of these channels and watch them turn into nothing more then just selling and giving away crap.. I have a couple music stores near me but they don't carry much of the things I'm interested in so like you I'm relying on honest reviews. Many thanks and best wishes!!
