Lots of details on their site about the inspiration for this, going back to the early days of the Allman Brothers and Duane Allman's and Dickey Betts tone. This amp also has the 4 position contour control which varies the thickness and bass response, which allows you to nail either Dickey or Duane tones!... Thick and honking! Love it!...
