with the omp delete it is important that you run ignition cut in your tune when off throttle so the premix gets into the rotor when off throttle instead of the usual fuel cut plus you get sick flames so thats a bonus
Yep, since ya did the half bridge which requires slightly higher RPM to maintain smooth idle and therefore more fuel/air... plenty of heat can be generated. Make sure the turbo and exhaust is well stabilized and sheilded (plenty of options, some can be used in tandem for better effect i.e. Wrap + shield near firewall and footwell to reduce cabin temp and paint discolorations), they WILL move around when you've been allowing the BTU to build up. Lots of rotary owners develop manifold leaks because of the BTU and vibrations. Also helps to have firm motor mounts (not solid per se, just firm)
Guess I'll be swapping mounts soon 😅 Everything will be cerakoted + sheikded where possible to try and keep Temps down as much as possible. Might add EGT into the stand alone to watch Temps

Where the upper manifold bolts to the Lower there were hairline cracks lengthwise through the mating surface. It might have been how it was treated or it might have been a fault in the casting I was not sure how they got there.
The hoist Rx7 tip. You have to unbolt your upper arm from the hoist and slide forward a few more inches to gain the reach. I do this all the time because the weight of the engjne keeps the arm wedged in the sleeve and from sliding out on the install. Now of course, I wouldn't do that on really heavy engines as the hoist could tip over. Not with a lighter rotary.
