Somebody asked for a heavier song....so here you go...poured everything into this. This is not a song actually ...Id say it's more of a mashup of what I needed to get off my chest. This is just the start for you in writing great songs. The solo is amazing as well ! You have to get this on Spotify and or iTunes as well. This is your best work to date! What the hell did you do to James? He's yhe guy that delivers great stuff, but this? This is on a whole other level! This is without any doubt the best thing I've ever seen you do! It's a song with a catchy melody that sticks and you're excelling on the guitar playing/solo part. It's been a long time since I've been this captivated by a song and a videoclip (which is very fitting and well produced)...Great job :D
The acting of you as Joker is waaaay to realistic, are you sure you aren't being chased by a guy in a bat suit? ;) All kidding aside I think that this could be the song that get's you the breakthrough you deserve!!

I torn between the stripped down version or the backing version. Both are great. I think the stripped down version just shows the pure blend of vocal and guitar. You may find more seasoned musicians leaning towards this method due to live presentation matching.

wow James, this is true professionalism. I love this to bits. Almost how I act when on my own at times. I copy of "Beetlejuice" haha. I'd spread this to some high up people to at least get it on Tele on a music show. It would do really well. I've only watched it once but it looks like it's a turning point in your musical career. Andy Turner ha ha busking yeh, me too, seven years ago, I was busking the streets of Santa Monica (highway66) California , then I went to work on an authentic Gondola.(The only authentic hand made Gondola in Venice) I make money but not enough to keep learning to play music and so, I choose to live out of a teardrop, fifties trailer in the street.Im getting famous, been on Millionaire Matchmaker, My fair wedding, KTLA, Match Made in Heaven, Latino Tv (Lanzate) as myself singing on a Gondola. Also appeared on a national AAAmagazine online and in print for things to do in Southern California ! Still All that fame and still no fortune ! I spent 15 years in the Romanian National opera before coming back home to the USA. BRAVE OR CRAZIE,I love music ! Love this tune too .........

I really like all of your songs and your voice works very well with the piano. But personally I'll allways prefer the heavier ones. Your voice sounds amazing in this one especially in the sort of pre-chorus part. The guitar is incredible as always, wish I could play that way...

Better song than Michael Schenker ever wrote. Incredible tone. Loved the Schenker embodied lead. A plus.
Let me expand. Schenker has no concept of lyrics and vocal melody. He does his "music" and hands it over to the vocalist to fit the vocal line over. Can that work? Hell yes depending on the singer. Clearly, Phil Mogg was the best fit ever for Schenker. And I'd argue there are 12 great MSG vocal tunes and the rest mediocre. You have it all. You are the song, the whole song, and nothing but the song. Period. So fucking valuable. There are just a few out there in your realm. Derek Day comes to mind. Eclectic. Writes everything. Busting his ass to go from RUclips to the actual industry. Check him out. He's getting recognition finally but a very niche audience. You on the other hand seem capable of being great at several genres. I like the idea of you producing but fuck, your voice and guitar playing are married to these songs. Do not lose hope. Do not throw this dream away. You could be the one to stitch retro guitar playing into modern pop? I don't know. And I don't know what health probs you're having but get better soon and continue on. Great job James - Linda and I love your homage to film-noir and the cult-horror movie genres. The Capital is somewhat reminiscent of Pennywise, of “IT”, meets Alice Cooper in that wonderful fictitious Ed Wood Jr. cult classic, “M is for Mescaline”. Slightly dark, a bit edgy and alarming enough for my ears insist that I keep the lights on during night. The Capital by James Bell, - the way God intended Rock and Roll to be produced.

Hey James, just checking back in on your channel in hope of some rock and certainly not disappointed. That is one killer riff you got there, you could build bricks from it :) Great song all round. Do I hear some Nuno and Dave Navarro in there somewhere? If you want some constructive criticism I'd say the middle solo and modulation aren't necessary but it's impressive nonetheless. I'd love to hear you rock out more on your solos like the part at 3:25 which is immense!
