So if you go with the same spec battery you just register it and no need to code it? M340i
I Changed the battery to Lead-Acid one with same Ah, and changed the type using Bimmer Code, and then registered it using BimmerLink but the even after the successfully registration, the battery percentage shows it's 64%.
Do I need to use the car for couple of days to read the correct percentage?

Do you know if the free version of Bimmerlink allow the registering of a replacement battery, or you are not sure because you immediately got the paid version directly?

Look on top on the ground terminal to see the date of the battery, my 535 2011 had original factory battery I was shocked. 10 years old when I changed it.

I got a 08 e82 here runnin original battery from 08. These agm batteries are incredible and probably owing to the bmw variable charge system too no doubt

@ThicGarage does the battery have to be 105 AH H9 or it can be H8 95 AH? Which one is best?
