I showed my mum the new paint schemes and she said “that’s how bikes should look, you ride a bike so people notice you having fun, boring colors are for cars” she might have 80s bias but I totally agree, thanks for bringing fun looks back into Kawasaki.
I guess I'm your mother's age, because I think the same way - a sports motorcycle should look "cheerful", exude energy, light up the depressing reality, and not be like a hearse or a vehicle for a stiff in a suit. I'll be honest, until I got a tear in my eye from nostalgia for those wonderful times, the years 1985-2000, when beautiful multicolored ZX-R/Ninjas, CBRs or GSX-Rs reigned on the roads. The world was completely different, people were more cheerful, more open.
Kawasaki pay attention! Having paint schemes like these in the United States would significantly increase your waning sales of the ZX-10.......seriously

I haven't bought a sport bike since 2004. When I saw the 04 R 1 it was love at first site lol but since then I haven't seen a sport bike that really even caught my attention until this 40 th anniversary zx 10. Seriously considering getting one just based on looks alone!
These designs are perfect! I like the regular 10R anniversary we get in the states based on the 92 and earlier zx7s but your 1993 design was always my favorite and you did such an amazing job making it work on this bike. Love it! It looks dangerously fast just sitting there. There was nothing cooler than seeing a green white and blue ninja when I was a kid. Love that 94 zx9 based design too. I hope 90s paint catches on with other manufactures too. Amazing work, I'm so glad these bikes are off the screen and out in the real world. Thanks!

A fantastic job Kar, as always. The green, blue and red does it for me. Definitely reminds me of the Zx(?) 9 green bike with the white nose and twin lights. one of the best looking bikes schemes produced IMO. I also love the blue/ teal colour on bike number 8 in the list.

I'm so happy that the 40th anniversary editions turned out so well. I'll probably be getting a Ninja ZX4-RR with these colors, the color scheme just works out so good on these modern bikes, you just have to love it!
Bravo !! Moto Kandi, so many fantastic paint schemes. However, if I had to select my top three...3rd PLACE is #25, it looks so much like my old 94 ZX-7 sweet & unique. 2nd PLACE #8, oh that blue & graphics! Almost made it my top pick, probably should be. 1st PLACE #13 classic Ninja paint ethos from original 250 Ninja, 600RX Ninja, and Zx-10 fame. Great Job!
Colour schemes in the 1990’s really were great compared to today’s efforts, which all seem a bit lacking in passion and emotion. And I for one really disliked the continual fad of black wheels. Lime green wheels, yes! Purple wheels, yes! Beautiful interpretations Kar 👏🏼 A lot of my enjoyment with my own 90’s bikes is the way they look.. ZXR750 H2 in that classic G/W/B. I also have a 1991 CBR1000F in the so called ‘Benetton’ colours, pink/black.. This colour scheme struck a chord way back as a teen when they were new, and always said to myself that I’ll own one one day. 😁 Brilliant work though mate..I truly applaud the efforts in reintroducing these brilliant classic colour schemes on the Kawasaki range. It changes their appearance so much! I think other manufacturers should, and probably will, follow suit with their own throwback/classic designs! 😎👍🏼
I think / hope they're slowly catching on, they all had such a richness to them in the 80s/90s, it's like they've lost their way over the last decade playing it safe. Of all the manufacturers tho I think Kawasaki are leading the charge with their heritage editions
I got the zx6r 40th anniversary and I absolutely love it, but the designs on these are something else. I wish they had put the pink kawasaki logo on the other models.
I love ZX10RR it’s a beautiful bike but the color is not going to cut it. They need to update the motor for WSBK this why they lost Rea there 🐐 the current bike is not good enough power wise it needs more mid and Top end as a street bike it good .thanks for the beautiful paint job 😊
Yes I agree, it is due an update to stay competitive, the Fireblade has just had one so hopefully next year we will see a refreshed ZX-10RR to take on the Panigale V4R, R1 M1000RR 😎
really?? look arround on most dyno flash ecu zx10r is the most powerful bike at the rear wheel. most track guy are using them as the r1 they still the best tool for money to go fast with. wsbk bikes is for none of us its mostly commercial
If that was the case just as a street bike, the BMW is faster the Honda CBRRR is faster the Aprilia RSV is a faster bike and as you know the Ducati is faster just ask the 🐐 Rea who left Kawasaki the motor has reached the end of its development.I didn’t even mention the R1M which seems the only bike on the track that is able to challenge the Ducati. Also the only race the ZX10RR has won was Rae . On the world stage BSB,ASBK,AMA, CSBk and Dean Harrison TT is one great rider has not been able to win a TT since 2019 . Don’t get me wrong I love Kawasaki all my bikes have been Kawasaki and I own a ZX10R . If they won’t to be on top again they need to upgrade the motor KRT is talking about increase in RPM that’s going to help them out of corner’s the R1M is stronger off the corners and it faster on top end. You the Ducati overall motor better .hopefully they upgrade that motor which have basically been the same sense 2019
@@jeffreyenglish2413 it is the case 100%, sorry you are getting influenced by the commercial aspect of wsbk,like most lamba rider but only few bikes in the world in the top 10 on their field are build that way , i owned and raced s1000rr zx10 and r1for AFM on west coast and the yam is the less powerful by a bit but has other advantage ducati is a nighmare to set up and aprilia is a 1100cc . Dean harrison is fast as hell but Hickman prove to be a bit faste in the mountain as he is on bsb too, and no zx didnt win only wsbk but has been the most successful bike on national championship for the last 10 years. not saying it could not used a update as the gsxr and the r1 need too but power isnt an issue specially for 99.9% of slow rider as i am part of
Kawasaki has needed help in the paint/design market for awhile. I love their bikes but they constantly put out the ugliest most generic paint schemes. And why would I buy a ugly bike. They should offer multiple color options each year. Give the buyer some choice. Some of these designs look amazing!
Ah thanks... but to be fair, like all the major manufacturers, Kawasaki have a huge back catalogue of cool paintjobs, and this was a project that involved transferring someing classic onto something modern, something I've been doing digitally for years. I agree though, they should all offer multiple colourschemes that are more daring, like they were in the 80s and 90s.

Unfortunately until Kawasaki updates its engine package it won’t win any championships.the ZX10RR is fantastic street bike as for championship bike it’s not going to cut it.from 2016-2023 the motor are basically the only with more RPM . Rea has been complaining about this. All the other manufacturers bikes have been upgraded the BMW,Honda,Ducati,Yamaha R1M has better motor package. As far as racing goes in all other championships no won has any success on a world stage WSBK,BSB , AMA even CSBK . And mention Dean Harrison if the ZX10RR was able to win he would have stayed with Kawasaki He has signed with Honda CBRRR more power. Check your facts. Like I said a beautiful paint job is not enough. Let the good times roll
NOT a fan of the production colours chosen in the end, however I do like 03, 05 (in lime green, not bottle green), 06, 14, 21, 22, 23, 24. I wish these had been the production offering. By the way, 03 and 20 are identical....If one was intended to have brightly coloured wheels then I'd take the one with black wheels, thanks. BUT... I don't for the life of me understand why there isn't an all purple ala number 25 but with green instead of pink....Nor any serious coloured offerings like bronze wheels, or a silver fairing. Something that makes this bike present as having some maturity/class. Kind of stuck with these goofy childlike bright colours that don't speak to me as a 40-something year old adult for a 40th anniversary bike rather than riding around like a twat who uses crayons to paint things. This is 2024 not 1984. Really dislike the use of blue with white and green, or colourful wheels which are not practical for road use..... Just because something was done in the past, doesn't mean they look good today and i think 'copy pasting' colours used in the past onto the current bike is a very lazy layman's approach. It's a muscular bike but is lacking colouring in line with its 'Ninja' namesake. It deserved its own colouring. The entire 'dark' and 'cool' marketing design approach has been usurped instead by Yamaha. So, this is not a 40th Anniversary I am looking at favourably and it's the reason why it's not selling here in my country.... Kawasaki needs to bring back an all-green variant as a permanent option, as it was only available on the short lived 22' RR.

The graphics on these bikes reminds me of my 92 Suzuki GSXR1100. I guess what was old is new again.
All 3 are the nicest looking bikes you can buy new, but that purple is just amazing! I'm kinda pissed they aren't being sold in the states LOL.
