I currently own the following bikes since they were new.
    11 Bmw S1000RR
    14 Bmw HP4
    16 Kawasaki Ninja H2 (not the H2R)
    20 GsXR 1000R
I’m gunna be completely honest. Both Bmws dropped valves under warranty. Both took months to be fixed. The ninja H2 is legendary and has the most power that I ever felt especially with the larger supercharger gearing but is horrible on gas mileage, I can’t take my wife on it because it’s only one seat, and the biggest issue is the fact that it draws a lot of unwanted attention from both law enforcement as well as other bikes.
I have to say that the 2020 GsXR 1000R is my absolute favorite bike that I own. It’s a lot of fun. It’s very comfortable with the thin design and I’m 7k miles into it with zero issues. Starts up every time I hit that button.

That GSX-R1000 is hot, amazing bang for your buck with an actual fuel gauge and lowest seat of all these monsters, too bad the Honda and the Kawasaki don't have a fuel gauge of all things which is a HUGE fail. I would of picked the Honda but the lack of the gauge turned me off. The Kawasaki looks hideous to me. The Ducati gets too Damn hot and too uncomfortable, the Yamaha is too uncomfortable as well not to mention I HATE the bug eyes, love the sound of that engine though. I wasn't talking about the reliability.
I don't care much about reliability, all modern bikes will last for many years as long as you maintaining them correctly.
My problem with gsxr1000 that it looks very dated and has poor build quality.
Everything screams budget on the bike.
For some dash isn't important but for me it is, The TFT is clearer and easier to read and you can put any information you want on the dash it just makes the ride more enjoyable.
Some people okay with the bare minimum or living on the budget that's why gsxr1000 is appealing to them. But when I buy a superbike I prefer a premium top spec machine.
Gsxr1000 is just isn't as good as other Japanese bikes out of the box let alone European.

The engine did felt stronger up top and cruise control was nice . But all the contact points sit grips pegs were same. Look are individual thing as the ex gsxr owner i prefer the looks of the GSXR. Visordown is looking for Honda advertising $$$ TRUTH the new Honda CBR 1000RRR is a back marker in World Superbike. ITs lucky to place in top 10 It hasnt won a single race nor even finished on the podium. WHY PIN someone saying they pick the HOnda CBR 1000RRR? IF you pay visor down enough money they would pick a Chinese scooter as the winner lol

@@greggiacona238 I changed the rear shock to a ohlins ttx. I'm a bit heavier than the guys they test with, and I caught a good deal on ohlins fkr-102 fork inserts. All I can say is wow. A cartridge set with the right spring/fork oil is a big confidence booster. Cheers
