Do you agree?... I will refer to this comment after Fridays Teaser..
So Sommersloops to be similar to Factorio Beacons. I thought the Sommersloop could be put into one of the slots of machines like Factorio Modules.
Planet Crafter has teleporters with a list UI and you name the Teleporters and chose where to teleport to.
if the somersloops are like what you say they could be like the beacon from factorio that emits a effect on the buildings surrounding it
Could it be that it uses the power lines to select which buildings are being boosted? I could see that you run your power through the sommersloop machine and it boosts X buildings, and breaks if you try to boost too many.
@@darquon1 This is another solution, it all falls under the same roof really
I'm waiting for the release to start a fresh new game. Everything will change and i want to taste everything slowly. :D
Keep in mind, Coffee has been really good at making sure that things are useful throughout the game when it comes to QOL stuff, they've even shifted the Geothermal stuff along with other equipment closer to the beginning of the game to help facilitate that. I think sometimes that the god builders like you and Total tend to forget that you're the top 1% of 1% of players and Coffee has been really against having stuff that not everyone gets to use, or gets so late it doesn't matter. I know why your perspective slips, it makes total sense, but try to keep in mind that your game play is very different than the average player. Love ya boys.
I hope that bit about blueprints being connectable to each other is true. That would be super super nice. I can believe it too, Snutt had talked about how they reworked belt connections so maybe it relates to why they did that work.
Not sure it’s even possible imo
I'm gonna start in the green fields because that's where I started on day one of the early access launch. Nostalgia, baby. I know they've been focused on the late game, but I hope they have some little tricks up their sleeves still to spice up early/mid game. Nothing crazy, just a little something, as a treat.
Same here then build up mega factories 3-4 places 😅
Snutt said in the dev stream that vertical nudging won't be in 1.0
This is true.. Buuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuut... many, many things have been said not to be coming lol.. But i could be wrong
Snutt also said mk3 miner issue was hard to fix. I dont believe a single thing that man says anymore
@@ItsBitz you have a point, they lied to us for years when they said they don't know how to implement MK 6 belts xD
They also said MK6 belts were impossible.. for years.
in the dev stream snutt said they didnt have a button for it, which is weird since the swap modes button exists. Swap between horizontal and vertical nudge modes
but yeah we'll see if they lied or not next week!
(source: ruclips.net/video/PKWCiin6-Ew/видео.html)
My thought for re somersloops was it would double output of all buildings connected to a single power grid (segregated by power switches) at the cost of more than double power.... After all, we did see those two computers coming out of the refinery, and it'd give more of a reason to segregate power grids with power switches
What I like the most is the idea of having access to items remotely for your character. Restocking is a bit of a chore.
On the other hand, I am not a particularly big fan of item teleportation as part of the logistical system. we have trains, trains are awesome.
Same for player teleportation, we have hyper tubes, hyper tube cannons, trains, you can chain jump pads if you want to. Teleportation would be marginally more convenient but it's just not that cool.
agree. trains are great so i don't really want to see item teleportation. i would like to see minimal player teleportation, allowing transport between the farthest points on the map without needing hypertube cannons.
yeah not a fan of item teleportation either... I kinda like travelling because I keep seeing fancy spots I missed even after 1800 hours... if I just teleported between bases I would never see those places...
All I want in a quantum pocket, like that quantum storage you mentioned, so that I won't need to consider using mods just because the inventory space in vanilla is super limited for the endgame.
I hope the remote storage works more similarly to Factorio's bot system, where it's best used to supply the player's inventory with everything they need, rather than logistics between factories. I wouldnt mind an upgraded train or drone variant or some other vehicle, but for me, logistics and item transportation is one of the most fun parts of the game that would just be 'skipped' in the lategame if item teleportation was added
I plan to start my base in the very north of the Dune Desert at the Big Crater and from there I will see where my journey takes me.
Put my first reinforced steel frames factory there, one of the biggest non-power builds I've done to date. Not done much with the game since then but looking so very forward to next week and tearing around in 1.0. I just hope that the help sites get updated quickly, love using them and big part of my big plans :)
I would love if let’s game it out came back for 1.0
Classified phenomenon will probably be both spheres and sloops. I think that remote storage and weird alternate recipes will be there. Then adding the appropriate artifact to a machine will enable the alien recipes.
SAM - strange alien matter
Oh I agree with you on a lot of points. I think the endgame are indeed spaceship parts with means to travel Faster than Light, where the pioneer is a stasis unit and send down. But the previous pioneers were perished in the descent. They came with a sub FTL ship to Massage 2 AB(B) and now they have the means to travel back with FTL, which helps humanity to leave earth after things went south there. Just a random thought, but I wanted it to share
I believe the remote storage will be like Minecraft one from Applied Energetics 2 so access to additional inventory from anywhere you go.
100%
14:45 I think most of us are in agreement with starting over for 1.0. Also, keeping your old save could be worth it if you want a more visual way to explore the differences in the game before and after 1.0.
I will start in rocky desert, because that was my first starting location in update 7. With the added coal nodes getting coal power started will be much easier so you don't have to run to the northern forest corner. It also has lots of iron and copper for early game, plus there used to be at least one really good caterium node on the eastern edge.
i'm skeptical that the somersloops will increase production in increments of less than 100%, because of the two computers we see output together. if the increments are less than 100%, but can result in two items being output when it is usually one, then that would either mean that the output rate fluctuates (unlikely); or the output amount is increased, but output rate is decreased if less than 100% boost (possible). Based on this and the fact that that manufacturer has the somersloop-y exhaust, my prediction is that the somersloop is crafted into an item (by the machine seen in the stinger), which is then placed in an individual machine to double the output amount, like power shards. [regardless of the correct answer, this effect will be huge for diamond production]
Bitz - spends 12 mins confidently speculating without any concrete evidence.
Also Bitz - "I can't possibly speculate on where the best starting location will be. I have no evidence." 😂
Looking forward to seeing how these predictions play out mate. Love your work.
@egoman85 haha I see what you mean, but people are mainly asking for a guide on the starting location and I can't do that until after 1.0 release as I need the evidence.. The other stuff is me speculating on what is to come....
A guide is built on evidence not unknown knowledge lll
about the mk2 guns, I think they might add some of that. Watched the 1.0 announcement video and in it Snutt goes on a rampage with fake update things, he talks about adding guns to everything (probably over the top, but still) and about all the laser stuff, automating lasers to make more lasers etc.
Might be worth going back to all the teaser things and see if theres more they've jokingly hinted at that might actually be real
I am going to gain a lot of wieght with 1.0 as i shall be living on pizza and speed for a week.
Same - have to get that reclining toilet computer chair installed
- I will start in a grass land anyway, thats the place i know the most so it will be easiest for me to play there... but i was considering dune desert too for big open space to build.
- That somersloop building, i hope that it will not be the way you described, with aura that will boost production... it will be really tedious to build around, and it will forced us to build and min-max around it.
- Blueprint building... I dont know, making MK2 and 3 will be weird, nobody will ever used smaller one, what will be their purpose? If you dont have a space for big one? Even if its expensive, you just have to build one. I think this building was already in a weird spot from the start. If you make it just big enough for a biggest building then you cant really make any blueprint around it when building barely fit, but for any small building it will be huge amount of space. From a game design perspective i dont like it, i hope that they reworked it so we can just mark some amount of buildings and create a blueprint like that, doesnt matter of size of the building.
- Teleportation... i hope they will do it but i hope that it will be somehow limited so you cant just use it everywhere for everything because yes, you can just play your way and just dont use it but why will you do it when it exist. Its like with hypertube cannon, its really hard to not use it. (And far back in my mind i silently hope that they did something with hypertube cannon so we cant use it anymore.)
I’ve been watching this game in anticipation for YEARS! The finish line is finally Finally FINALLY almost here and I am SOOOOOO ready for it! Even bought a new-to-me gaming PC so I could play it (and it was easier to justify to the wife than a PS5…)
Bigger blueprints would be great, but things that are more important for me are fixing a number of multiplayer issues - mergers/splitters not working if another player other than the host places them while the game is saving, crashing if riding a hypertube while the host is saving, timing out and crashing when saving/loading very large factories. I play with my wife and daughter rather than solo and the last of those 3 is a total game killer, it's why we had to abandon our update 8 play through. I've heard no mention of those issues being addressed.....
Did you take a look at the bugs report site of satisfactory. If you dont find your issues there, i suggest you open a new thread. This is the best way to get your bugs in the devs timeline
Its not just mergers and splitters. Its literally anything. Belts, pipes, and so on. And thats worse with a dedicated server, as then everyone can place broken things!
Well I’m sure that because you haven’t heard anything about something that’s relatively uninteresting compared to what they did talk about they’re not going to do anything to fix it 😂
@@johnandrews9433 So you think they won't be interested in fixing game destroying bugs in multiplayer for a game that they've purposely made multiplayer capable? Or is your point just badly structured and ambiguous? cos that'd be a ridiculous thing to suggest.....may as well abandon the multiplayer feature altogether if it's not playable into the final tier. Don't ever go into software development!
@@martinarscott3524 So you’re just too stupid to pick up on obvious sarcasm? Never go into any field that requires reading comprehension and thinking!
I think Mk. 2 blueprints are a possibility, but I'm not sure they go all the way to Mk. 3. I think a 6x6 is definitely possible, but I don't know that they go as large as 12x12. That's a massive area to cover with a blueprint, and I don't think a lot of players would utilize a build area that large all that often.
I also don't think the laser building is what you say. Having a building "boost" your production lines like is redundant with power shards and overclocking, and I don't think that's the goal with the team going out of their way to make it possible to manufacture power shards now. In fact, they kind of went out of their way to imply that the reason they made that possible is so we don't need as many buildings in the world to manufacture the same amount of items, increasing game performance.
I do think, however, that it could be a wireless power transmitter. One of the biggest pains in the rear end when building a mega-factory in a remote area away from the rest of your infrastructure is getting enough power out there to get your new machines online. You can build a power line out there directly or run a train line to it, but both of those options are slow and tedious, and it might not even be practical with your final plans (i.e. why run a train line if you're going to use drones or trucks?) I think the laser could be a way to transmit power wirelessly, with the Loops acting either as a sort of fuel or as a way of "boosting" the laser for additional range and/or additional power capacity.
I also think the Mercer Spheres will have something to do with teleportation. The fact that there are a finite number of spheres in the world means you can only have a certain amount of teleportation nodes, and that's one way to balance out what would otherwise be an ultra-broken mechanic. Likewise, requiring you to sacrifice several of them to unlock the whole tech tree in the MAM would even further reduce the number of nodes you could have around the world. Further, I think if you can teleport items, it'll either be something like a remote-access storage (which would be a dream come true holy cow) or it'll have limited throughput. Might be a great option for moving mid-tier space elevator parts from their factory to a new one for late-tier space elevator parts, but would be nowhere near enough for, say, moving screws from an iron factory to a modular frame line.
I really hope there will be some kind of teleportation to move quickly from one factory to another. Because if not, I will end up again with centralizing everything and not seeing anything of the map.
Im getting dehydrated with that lack of sources
for the teleportation theory, I have seen in other games use Named Locations.
What I mean is you select the location of a named teleportation hub, much like how you name train stations it will be something similar in the UI so you can just select your teleport location. but I wouldn't be surprised if there is a cooldown process with each teleport use, and cooldown changes/decreases with overclocking or even the amount of time crystals used within the hub? (all my own theory based off your thoughts)
love you content i just realized today i was not subbed to you channel i have been watching your content for about 2 years thank you for sharing you are an amazing builder and content creator.
Another great video... I also recommend a fresh start. You don't want to potentially miss anything.
Theory about mk 6 belts: They need new construction material. The belt is much much thinner than Mk 5 ones, but needs sturdier structure due higher speed. So that calls lighter but structurally better material... Like Kevlar. In reality, Kevlar is made from polymer resins and carbon fiber (which is processed coal...) But this is just me speculating... :)
Theyll use Ficsite Trigons
Vertical nudging seems like a small deal. The blueprints likely suffer from stability issues with aize. I could see a tier two blueprint maybe being 5x5x5. Being just a smidge bigger but already incteasing the size from 32 to 36 meters. Just that little nudge is keeping me from adding stuff ontop of large machines like refiners. Though not really. Once you know you can put packagers on refiner's it really makes the process easier. The only real reason would be optimising blueprints dor nuclear reactors and loops.
Great theories - I think a lot of them turn out to be true or at least in the future. I was looking at the map while you were talking but with the new resource nodes I'm kind of stumped where to start my 1.0 playthrough. Grass Fields was fun last playthrough but the trek to Oil was a slog. I feel like I'd like to revisit Rocky Desert as I had fun but the Dune Desert is enticing due to the high amount of resource nodes...
Let’s go! Excited to be here. Great title 😂
Nice thoughts. I think I will start a new save file, because of the story, but I don't have that much time to play Satisfactory and on my main save I'm at the edge to Phase 3 so I think I will keep it as my main save and don't spend 250h now, just to get to this point. To finish my mega factory I probably will play offline on U8 and get some ressources before I have to fix everything.
I think that the summersloop will grant a produtivity buff to a building. like the way it is in factiorio (25% productivity bonus e.g. means every fouth loop will be doubole output). how this buff is spread or distributed, can just be guessed.
I had a similar theory for the sloops. But I don't think it boosts power, I think the effect travels through power so that's why it glows, or maybe it "boosts power" in the sense that it doesn't require more power but increases production. I guess it only works at a certain distance either around the sloop laser machine or a distance in wire.
That would be pretty good especially if it stacks with slug boosting. I hope it won't cost more power aside from the building itself maybe because as it is right now it's better to make more constructors than to boost constructors which makes slugs only really useful on resource extractors and is an issue for performance because we end up with tons of machines.. If this thing can boost a factory in a way that it costs less power per item than just building more machines it will make it much easier to increase the production of a factory and will help a ton for performance. In other factory games you can usually copy and paste so if you want to double your production you copy it all and paste and voila but in satisfactory you have to build it, even with blueprints, that's time consuming, the sloops laser thing might be a way to go around that and make it possible to quickly increase production.
I'm making a wild and crazy guess
we're gonna have power shards slots on power poles, i have no explanation for this, and i don't know what it would do, I'm just putting it here
@mineyoucraftube1768 That is definitely wild!! 😂
Booked off work, ready to rot in the chair 😂
I'd be okay without bigger blueprints, but belts/pipes connecting across blueprints and vertical nudging would be soooooo good to have.
Love your vids Bitz but, this was pretty funny.
Let's review these statements:
"I'm 99.99% sure that all these things are coming in 1.0 (even though they said some of them are not in 1.0)"
"I can't give you an opinion on best starting area because we don't have enough info. :P"
I'm not sure what to believe anymore.... does the toilet even really flush!
MK2 and MK3 Blueprints Are Coming.. In Satisfactory (99.99% Sure). Stating what i think about the blueprints..
Regarding the world, its a question I've been getting a lot recently, about where is the best starting location for 1.0.. Right now, i cant say exactly for certain or give my opinion as we don't know about SAM Ore's and where they are going to be positioned and also, we have gotten a tiny brief into in to some node changes... I cant do a guide on where to start based on speculation, I need the evidence that backs up why this area could be better then another... That's what's happening here hahahaha
I think, with the map loading problem (therefore slower flight speed provided by the game), it's more likely to be remote storage rather than personal teleportation.
P.S. it's hilarious to see the comments of people who are sure that Bitz is in cohoots with the game devs 😅
Yeh, I do laugh all the time.. Because If I'm right, it's clearly a breach of any NDA lmfao
So the way I understand your logic for the Sloop machine, is it's basically the Satisfactory version of a Beacon from Factorio?
@@ajschwartz3924 correct
Plot twist, SF+ was a secret beta for the real game all along.
all the time since they introduced blueprints, i was hoping for ANY method to connect something when placing them. it could even have been a bit "clunky", like special (stackable) belt poles, power poles, etc, that can be placed at the opposite edges of two bluprints, and form (melt into) a single one where both sides connect in a usable manner.
i have seen lots of blueprints for elaborate "bridge modules" that include space for several belts, a train line, power connections, etc, but currently you only can build the concrete "skeleton" for it and then need to manually add rails, power, belts, etc, making them really usable only for roads.
Gotta get that mod
I think we have seen hints of the remote storage / teleport storage. In the last few videos, we see resources coming out of little sheds made of a few walls. They are too small to hide a regular storage container and it doesn't appear to be fed from underneath.
do you have some timestamps? would be curious
keep in mind they have access to dev tools, which can spawn items from nowhere.
@ItsBitz, did you catch the clip at the end of today’s dev stream? It’s shows the new laser building
You can vertical nuge with Shift+up arrow key
Is this video going to age like wine... or like milk? :D
I do not think that there will be any designer marks. So far they have seemed content with the current 4x4.
My prediction for BP news is that we are getting a blueprint library that you can use across saves, so no more copy-pasting between folders.
I imagine the personal storage being comparable with minecraft ender chest's
I love bothering you, so sorry for this: Heya, how are your acting skills, pretty good hm, what did the NDA said?🤫🤫 (Again, sorry if i'm bothering you)
A weapon upgrade would be nice, the evil fly pods are rather annoying if you don't have a full mag at the time they open
I think there will be also changes in blue print management. Changes to streamline and QoL ... don't know what... But I'm pretty sure... Oh you are speaking of that as well as I'm writing...
I think if it’s about teleporting then it’s just like with drones. The stations just have names
they will be adding-way more caves in 1.0 nightmare will be a thing for spider fear.
I’m of the opinion that we’ll be able to upgrade or downgrade elements of blueprints. Got a bunch of blueprints that use MK5 belts and with the new MK6s coming, with a click of a button all the MK5s are upgraded (or downgraded if needed)
my guess is somersloops maybe power teleporting the storage items.
What about being able to update\downward existing blueprints based on what tiers you need for a build? Or what is now available.
What i want is a custom one , able to do large buildings at least 25x25
I'm not so sure there will be bigger blueprints, because if you spam several blueprints, even in the current 4x4x4 design, it puts a huge toll on the performance. Unless they have reworked the memory/rendering method for blueprint placement, which, I will admit, might be possible in UE5, I think its just gonna cause a lot of lag and stuff. Maybe they can use some nanite-type rework of that, that lets say the machines are now either "nanited" or the pre-placement orange renders can be "nanite", it seems like this kinda stuff is bound to cause trouble.
There’s absolutely no blockers to expand blueprints to 8x8x8 or even more. They’re just teasing 😈
if u speak of a teleportation hub. that reminds me of valheim another game from coffee stain. where u can conncet 2 portals anywhere in the world to travle any distance fast.
Coffee Stain Published the game and Iron Gate Studios developed it.. But i get what you mean, it is similar yes.
i had this same theory when we saw the purple smoke or whatever it is coming out of the machines
i wish they would take the fact that nearly everyones starting over and just snap the ores to the world grid lol
GRATZ WITH 50K BRO!!
Thanks!!
I would love if you can put the ikealamp in the hoverpack or sumth for more range or faster :0
so currently use a item teleportation mod that unlocks in tier 5 as not fan of trucks or trains. That's my choice
"obviously the size doesn't matter..." That's what she sa.....
I like your idea for the somersloops. I think we might get better designers, but I think you are being overly optimistic about the size. if there are only two designers, I think we get size 4 and 6, if we get three, I think its size 4,5,6. they have said not every building will fit in the designer, do im not sure the size of the new buildings even matters. I would love if blueprints could auto connect belts and such. I think that is more likely than anything else.
EDIT: I think the illness thing is a red herring. if there is a crisis at earth, I think its AI related. many of the smart items we make require progressively more "AI limiters" I think this might be a clue to a runaway AI on earth.
I still think that there's a possibilty for something really big, like a second map/planet. This might be too massive for 1.0, but its perfectly possible that they have been working on a second map in parallel, I think its likely for a DLC or update in the future. Its the kind of thing that seems like an impossibly large addition to the game, but at the same time, it might have been in the works since the beginning, and they've just kept it under wraps completely. Remember, ALL the designers, level designers, model designers, etc have been working on this game for like 6+ years, its not entirely unlikely they will hit us with something like that.
I hope we get blue prints at a lower tier
I'm wondering if the end-game fuel (Ficsonium? forgot the name) could be used as a nuclear fuel, but maybe doubling or more the power output before adding shards, with no waste at the end. Or better yet, bring back the old reactor model to be the power plant for it. So an end-game fuel requiring you to have a uranium and plutonium line to make the waste.
Teleportation is a must - end game getting around gets ridiculous.
Didn't they already say they're doing something like that? Plutonium waste will process into another kind of nuclear fuel rod that goes into the same reactor and doesn't have a waste product.
🤩 Gimme gimmie gimmie!!! i'm ready lets GOOOO!!!
In Dune Desert there is also much coal!
didnt snutt say that they WON'T adress belts and pipes automatically connect
when you build in the blueprint it will make all you build will become one id item for the world items
I wonder if the mk vi belts will include power (like rails)
with the sphere fuel it would be radioactive surely? as it was made with plutonium waste so i doubt it will be able for jetpack
i wouldn't be 99.99% sure but it is a possibility (and a nice one)
woop, 7th watcher on my counter!
3:01 YESSSS!!!
thanks to converters no 1 position is 'better' if your short on something convert it
converting will be earliest accessible mid game. So for early game there absolutely WILL be a superior starting position, unless they balanced them PERFECTLY, which isn't really possible.
@@Blacksoul444 Im thinking it will be available sooner than what most are thinking around phase 2 or 3
@@_Selrahc you could be right. But i think it makes not much sense to have conversion early. Because it demotivates exploration, whereas they wanted to incentivize exploration more in 1.0.
fresh start baby:)
They wont be adding item teleportation.
so basically content that most people anyway use mods for.
Nice truman show ref
Let's play collab with Total when?

Where is the FLUX CAPACITOR?
Seems like you have some informations. Beta spoiler ?
I wish, but that will also mean, the NDA that would of been signed is broken.. And as a creator, who's worked in this industry for a while now, I know the consequences of breaking them.. People often forget how many hours I've put into this game, and the knowledge I have, and that across the stream over the years, the amount of conversations I have with community members, especially in the livestream. In regards to what we would like to see and all that good stuff... Plus I want to enjoy the game myself like most of us. Hopefully that clears some things up
@@ItsBitz 🤞🏻 so finger crossed for mk3 blueprint. Ty for the clarify🫡
@@GTSwarley Fingers crossed, you welcome btw and thanks for understanding. A lot of people won't, but i can see why they would think that.
Are these just guesses or did you get info somewhere? Idk how u r 99.9999% sure if this is just a guess
it's so obvious that you already have the game and are teasing a few things by saying "not sure buuuuuut trust me, it could reaally really be like I say"
