To be fair. Pyro has alright to burn these guys off. Wizard for selling him Solider Socks instead of Fempyro, Demoman for his insults for the things he like, and well solider.... he got burn for not doing his laundry. I mean if someone sells me clothing at a yard sale and I realize they haven't wash it, I will probably burn them too.
Actually, I'd say Pyro wasn't. Pyro would be arrested if there was a police department, and only an insane person would come up with reasons like laundry. It might as well be bad writing.

i think the scout with a boot on it's head was trollscout because there aren't any other scouts with boots on there heads and there's only one scout that does and that's trollscout

it's even weirder because, if i had to say which one of them it would be in character for to wake up and find the other selling their dirty socks, it would be merasmus, and if i had to say which one it would be more in character for to be selling the other's socks, it would be soldier.
The funniest part is that actually makes sense.
@@joinmarch76 dirty socks sales stand canon personalities compliant edition: merasmus wakes up to find soldier has somehow stripped him naked and sold every article of clothing he owns sans his skull hat (yes merasmus wears it to bed) overnight. he yells at soldier in confused horror and just as soldier starts showing him the collection of ape nfts made in meramus' likeness that he minted(on the "GREAT AMERICAN BLOCKCHAIN THAT FLOWS LIKE FREEDOM THROUGH EVERY RED-BLOODED AMERICAN'S... BLOOD.") to sell without his knowledge much less consent, merasmus is promptly arrested-not for nudity, but for copyright infringement, of the nfts. and also somehow pinned for several bizarre miscellaneous crimes, most likely also committed by soldier. cue vengeance on next halloween, once again.
...in a cheap mascot costume from his failing soul-sucking (somehow in a *less* literal way than he would like) morbidly named alternate universe pizza hut i'm too lazy to think of a name for day job this time, because he still hasn't managed to get his original clothes back (and is fairly certain soldier somehow managed to sell them overseas), so this year prospector peppers the pepperoni pizza(now made with 22% more real pepper spray) pika(rat-like animal related to rabbits) is enacting grim hallow's eve vengeance instead.
two weeks later during an altercation with soldier over the aforementioned's increasingly absurd violations of basic human decency he is mistaken in costume for an australium-mutant kangaroo, shot, and taken off by a pair of cheerfully oblivious and potentially lead poisoned less-than-intelligent big game hunters in the outback. this is played for comedy. his ultimate fate is never alluded to and this is never mentioned again.
two issues into the comic later merasmus' original robes (which he never got back after soldier sold them) are briefly visible in the background of a single comic panel, in a newly-opened exhibit on ancient sumerian women's fashion, in brazil. this is not remarked upon at all.
