Michael Cretu is Germany. He always went against the grain. In the ‘80s he had a hit with his Band, Cretu & Thiers with the song "When Love is the Missing Word" soft/synth/pop. Then he married with the singer Sandra. He was the producer of her albums and then he proposed to her. Then created the proyect ENIGMA. Very interesting his career. He mix synthesizers soft melodys (new age) with samplers of Gregorian chants, ethnic or Opera songs. Pioneered the creation of the NEW AGE era
