Enigma is a German musical project founded in 1990 by Romanian-German musician and producer Michael Cretu. Cretu had released several solo records, and collaborated with various artists. The inspiration for the creation of the project came from his desire to make a kind of music that did not obey "the old rules and habits" and presented a new form of artistic expression with mystic and experimental components.[

Great pick. I bought two Enigma CDs many years ago when their song "Return to Innocence" was played on the radio in Germany. I didn't know that they are still active.

It is worth saying that the voice is from Aquilo. However, live sings Andru Donalds. Thank you Tom

I have no idea why I clicked this, i think bc this song by enigma is has been so powerful for me.. i feel it in my soul and have been listening to it so much lately for strength..like literally have been playing it non stop some days.. I dont fully know why yet... things in my life are unfolding with so many feelings and awareness, I can barely breathe but when I listen to this song I feel the word liberation is the only word I can explain it with... nice to have found this and I agree and feel everything you said, .. gives me alot to think about.. I'm all about honor and morality and lately those things are such front and center for me like to the point of intolerablity.. I even said the other day it would it be so different if the world stood with real honor , everything would be as it should be ..then I ended up binge watching Spartacus this wk after not having watched it in yrs and its all making sense now bc he was fighting ( movement for balance, justice and righteousness) and honoring everyone and everything with the code of moral compass... people are not brave anymore, they stand easy wagging their tongues with lies and hypocrisy..Wow.. I'm continuing to listen as a write and everything you are saying is everything I've thought.. it all fits! So glad I stopped on this.. thanks

Love your little talk. The thing is, no one has a right, everyone has an obligation. You don’t have a right to be fed. Society has an obligation to make sure you eat well. You don’t have a right to do what you want, you have an obligation to consider others. You don’t have a right to consider yourself above others, you have an obligation to consider others above yourself (sorry, can’t help that sounding a bit Confucius). Life is obligations and responsibilities, it’s not hedonism and greed. I don’t know how many times this has to be proved. Wouldn’t it be lovely to we stopped saying “this is how people should be, how do we make them?” And we start saying “this is how people are, how do we deal with this?”

From east to west, Puerta de Celo, mea culpa...catholic version, screen behind the mirror, I love you... I'll kill you, temple of love, dancing to Manifesto. So many songs from Enigma, I've been a fan since 1991 or 92. There are a few other groups similar in sound you might like. Delerium, Era, Shinobu, Conjure One.

This is a PHENOMENAL song. I have loved Enigma from album ( Chapter) One ! THE line in this song is... "its time to turn the page and love again!" Keep in mind, every Enigma album is a chapter in an ever unfolding story. To understand this song one must take into considerstion all that he's done before. Your comments are spot on and a good message for those advocating moral anarchy. Therein lies the path to pain, destruction, and pure evil. This song, gets the message right but from the wrongheaded confusion of the man in the story. Every human must be very careful what voice they listen to, there are many voices calling humanity to destruction on the wings of avarice, lust, and physical pleasure, and then there is a voice that calls people to a narrow path filled with the struggle of a life of virtue in a world that doesn't value virtue anymore but which, in the final analysis, leads to an eternity of love without anymore pain. The question is, which voice is this man listening to? Love does not come through immorality and narcissistic self-absorption, but through self-sacrificial love esteeming others as greater than oneself, and relying firmly upon the strength of the God who is, in His very essential being the very epitome of love. What has this man in this song chosen? What are each of us choosing? I pray with all my might every single day that every single human being chooses correctly.

Enigma should have been even more successful than they were, It was too different at the time to get the appreciation the music has now.

I have been listening to Enigma since the LSD album that I stole from my sister. I always love their albums. But this album is a GD masterpiece of music in my opinion.
Amen is one of my favorite songs, period. Oxygen Red, too. The second this song starts to the second it ends is just beautiful.

As a Christian, I took this song as inspiration that while God is all-powerful, you are made in His image and by that token you are responsible for finding the truth for yourself. To live is to suffer and know joy, because joy does not come without celebration, and celebration does not come without overcoming adversity. "What if God is not for me" is something everyone struggles with, even those with faith; no one is immutable, it is natural to question, and it is all the more natural to seek answers and find wisdom and truth. Pain is the process of learning, and if you don't understand a lesson with humility, you're prone to collapse. Succumbing to all that you've suffered through is not what you're made of, what you could be. You can be more, and to find peace, you must be more. You are more. For me, He is waiting always for me to take that step higher up to move forward with the understanding that this world is of sin; of temptation, of decadence (as the gentleman eloquently put). You must move forward and make a purpose as you live. You are given the opportunity for understanding, wisdom, and compassion; don't succumb. For yourself, move forward in understanding. 🙏
