I must say I am surprised by your reaction, or the lack of it. This song has subtitles. Did'nt you get them? And you sounded a little disappointed to me. I guess you expect him to go high and belt in every single song. This is MY most favourite song of his! Those notes at the end, we call them alaap in indian music, and he did sing along with the instruments. I haven't heard anyone in the other part of the world do it till date. His low notes are incredible. IMO He doesn't need to have high notes in every single composition, he tells the story perfectly and the song flows accordingly. And we fans,know what he is capable of, and he does different things in every number that he has sung recently. Btw a big fan from india!!! Dimash is invited star. The bold guy at the piano is Igor Krutoy, the composer and producer. "New wave" is his project. This year is the year of Igor Krutoy 65th birthday and we can see many concerts for his jubilee - in Russia: Sochi, Moscow, Yekaterinburg and in Germany - Dusseldorf, and New York. Dimash and Igor work together. And do you know about Dimash's solo performance in New York? I think yes, you do 🙂 November 29, 2019 it will be solo performance of Dimash in Saint-Petersburg in Russia. I'll fly there from Siberia. And I am waiting this so much 😁
Speaking of grandmothers, and Dimash and healing, you should watch "Dimash! The Incredible Journey Of Rae Ward ". She's a grandmother who watched Dimash on the Singer program when she was undergoing chemotherapy and decided she had to meet him. So she recovered and journeyed to Kazakhstan from New Zealand, and was welcomed by Dimash and his family into their home, wheelchair and all. I think she runs his New Zealand fan club now.

New Wave is a singing competition in Russia, and founded by Igor Krutoy. Dimash was invited by Igor Krutoy as a guest performer, not a competitor. You stopped the video, that's ok. Dimash told everyone it is was a special day for him because it was his sisters (Rashaun) eighteenth birthday. He wanted to take the opportunity to wish her the very best, and that he loved her very much. The Master of Ceremonies went on to say that no matter how many times Dimash goes on stage there are always a lot of flowers. Igor also receives flowers and a kiss on the cheek from his granddaughter at the end.
If you guys ever get chance further down the line to watch his concerts you definitely should. I've probably posted about it before but I always feel like people are missing out on the full idea of an artist until they see a whole show of theirs. And luckily he has three online with subtitles too so you get to see the interactions with the crowds too. :)

Big mistake. ALWAYS watch Dimash videos to the end. You missed special happenings with Dimash & Igor. Igor was also there because New Wave Sochi is his annual festival. Every song Dimash sang there belongs to Igor including the reworking of this song & the first 3 he has composed for Dimash. Olympico (alternate name of Ogni Pietra) & Passione & an upbeat Where Love Lives. Be sure to always turn on subtitles including for this video after you stopped it.

I read somewhere that Dimash has been working to develop his chest voice (lower register) and that could be a reason for why he started low.I'd like to hear him sing more current songs,I wasn't a fan of this number.However,his voice is phenomenal as always.I wonder though if his voice is changing late in his career and if he'll still be able to hit the really stratospheric notes we're accustomed to hearing him do down the road.Something to ponder.

Igor Krutoy is a maestro, composer and pianist: he composed "Olimpico - Ogni Pietra" because he knew only Dimash could pull it off. He also composed "Love is like a dream", "Passione", "Know" exclusively for Dimash. Krutoy is also the official pianist for Lara Fabian, the Belgium Canadian singer who sings mostly in French, Italian and English and is one of Dimash favorite artists.

He is not from China he is from Kazakhstan which is below Russia. All 6'3" of this 26 years old amazing man has a voice from heaven. He sings in 12 different languages and has performed all over the world including New York.
This is my most fav amongst my many favs of Dimash''s songs. The end is just so hauntingly beautiful, no words needed.... just the stunning runs of notes that he did.❤🌌🌈🌧
Wind instrument is a clarinet. You should read about Igor Krutoy on Wikipedia as you'd probably find it interesting. He didn't come out of retirement but working with Dimash must be like a breath of fresh air and definitely put a spring in his step. I think he is having a lot of fun working with a young man and Dimash will for sure take Igor's career to new hights.

In order to become well known in the US you have to kiss a lot of butts and play the corporate game so I think this is why Dimash is not well known yet. He could've probably been booked to at least one US major show but so far hasn't. After the debacle that the world's best was I'm sure he's even more cautious. I hope he does become well known but in his own terms
FYI: on the "NEW WAVE" show- the videos all have English subtitles. He sang several songs there. :-) This song has more of a complicated middle eastern sound that we in the West are not used to- but SO beautiful and very hard to do. (his "s-catting" was awesome) But you missed at the end when Dimash wished his sister a happy 18th birthday and Igor's little granddaughter came up with flowers and hug w/ grandpa. This is a big yearly program in Russia- I believe all the new and popular singers are there- yes even, Diana Ankudinova was there with Igor.
Listening Dimash sing "Autumn Strong" or "Late Autumn" (same song) from Singers 2017 brings tears to my eyes every time and I haven't even checked the translation yet. A very tender and emotional song. The audience can be seen shedding tears also and his competitors are totally mesmerized by this rendition of a well-known Chinese song. A song I believe Stan's mother would have appreciated. Hope to see your reaction to it soon.

Big mistake. ALWAYS watch Dimash videos to the end. You missed special happenings with Dimash & Igor. Igor was also there because New Wave Sochi is his annual festival. Every song Dimash sang there belongs to Igor including the reworking of this song & the first 3 he has composed for Dimash. Olympico (alternate name of Ogni Pietra) & Passione & an upbeat Where Love Lives. Be sure to always turn on subtitles including for this video after you stopped it.

I read somewhere that Dimash has been working to develop his chest voice (lower register) and that could be a reason for why he started low.I'd like to hear him sing more current songs,I wasn't a fan of this number.However,his voice is phenomenal as always.I wonder though if his voice is changing late in his career and if he'll still be able to hit the really stratospheric notes we're accustomed to hearing him do down the road.Something to ponder.

Hey guys. This song has become one of my favs but as beautiful as this is, I prefer his versions at Moscow concerts. They had alot more vocalizations in the middle and end which was beautiful. Please check it out then you can compare. You should check out Dimash's Arnau concert which he had recently. Just awesome....Thanks. always good to see you..

Igor Krutoy is a maestro, composer and pianist: he composed "Olimpico - Ogni Pietra" because he knew only Dimash could pull it off. He also composed "Love is like a dream", "Passione", "Know" exclusively for Dimash. Krutoy is also the official pianist for Lara Fabian, the Belgium Canadian singer who sings mostly in French, Italian and English and is one of Dimash favorite artists.

He is not from China he is from Kazakhstan which is below Russia. All 6'3" of this 26 years old amazing man has a voice from heaven. He sings in 12 different languages and has performed all over the world including New York.
This is my most fav amongst my many favs of Dimash''s songs. The end is just so hauntingly beautiful, no words needed.... just the stunning runs of notes that he did.❤🌌🌈🌧

Wind instrument is a clarinet. You should read about Igor Krutoy on Wikipedia as you'd probably find it interesting. He didn't come out of retirement but working with Dimash must be like a breath of fresh air and definitely put a spring in his step. I think he is having a lot of fun working with a young man and Dimash will for sure take Igor's career to new hights.

In order to become well known in the US you have to kiss a lot of butts and play the corporate game so I think this is why Dimash is not well known yet. He could've probably been booked to at least one US major show but so far hasn't. After the debacle that the world's best was I'm sure he's even more cautious. I hope he does become well known but in his own terms
FYI: on the "NEW WAVE" show- the videos all have English subtitles. He sang several songs there. :-) This song has more of a complicated middle eastern sound that we in the West are not used to- but SO beautiful and very hard to do. (his "s-catting" was awesome) But you missed at the end when Dimash wished his sister a happy 18th birthday and Igor's little granddaughter came up with flowers and hug w/ grandpa. This is a big yearly program in Russia- I believe all the new and popular singers are there- yes even, Diana Ankudinova was there with Igor.
Listening Dimash sing "Autumn Strong" or "Late Autumn" (same song) from Singers 2017 brings tears to my eyes every time and I haven't even checked the translation yet. A very tender and emotional song. The audience can be seen shedding tears also and his competitors are totally mesmerized by this rendition of a well-known Chinese song. A song I believe Stan's mother would have appreciated. Hope to see your reaction to it soon.
