Thank you guys for doing a Dimash reaction video. He is 25 yrs old, singer/multi instrumentalist from Kazahkstan, classically trained since he was 5 yrs old in the bel canto technique, he has a 6 octave range and sings in multiple languages. He opted to go for neo opera/crossover instead of joining an opera house. Personally, it's not his range which makes him unique, but the way he uses his techniques in interpreting his songs. This competition for professional singers was 2 yrs ago, you should hear his voice today. The agility & control is simply amazing.

Well. This is a Chinese singing competition which, before 2017, no foreigners has won 1st place. All the other contestants are veteran singers with millions of fans in China. And Dimash was only a 22-yo unknown singer (at the time). You can imagine the rest.
@@pichac.7327 Yes..after I posted that response I realised it probably had to do with it being a Chinese competition and Dimash not being Chinese. You see that in every country in such televised competitions...they make sure it's not a foreigner winning. But also I was genuinely interested to hear the actual winner because that still is probably an excellent singer most people outside of China, and especially in the West, have not heard of.

Dimash is 22 years old in this performance. He was invited to sing in this Chinese contest called the Singer 2017. He is from Kazakhstan and speaks Kazakh and Russian fluently. He was the Dark horse during this show and was the very first contestant to sing. There are 12 Episodes to the Singer. Damish has done many concerts in Bastau, Moscow, Astana to name a few. If you start with the Singer, please know that he did not speak English very well but as you move along his English is spot on. You will always be surprised with this Vocal Prince. He will shock you every time. He is like no other singer in this entire Wold. Everything about him and his family is a blessing to this World. Sit back and relax and please watch the video and then react. Stopping the video repeatedly can be annoying. Great first reaction though. God bless. That was hilarious to watch, haha. It reminds me of myself, when I dicovered Dimash, a few month ago. After I watched this Performance I "inhaled" EVERYTHING Dimash sang in the past, every interview he ever gave.Hey, you won in the lottery. lol. You discovered the best singer in the world. Already a Superstar in Asia and Russia. He is loved and adored by his fans the "Dears", which by the way became the Name from him ! He always said his audience is dear to his heart, and like Family, so he calls them dears. We thankfully accept the Name and Support him wherever we Can. He was at the Show "The worlds best" in the USA at the beginning of 2019. But sorry to say that, it was disgusting how they treated him, don´t watch These Performances. Not just the fact, that they edited his Songs till the brink of unrecognisable, no they lied to him. He just attended with the precondition, that he does not have to compeed with children. In the Kazakh Culture, adults never compeed with children, because it is unfair. Children should have time to develop and have their own competitions, which they have in Kazachstan. They honor children so much ! So, when he once discovered, that he was in the final round with two Little ones, he very respectfully asked the judges to let him step out of the competition. The reaction was a shame ! He gave away Money and victory for the children, and they humiliated him on tv. I am surprised, after that experience, he ever touches American Ground again. But it is DIMASH a loving huming being, he will conquer the world. Step by Step. He will always have our Support.

Honest to God, I think the more you listen to him and explore his world of music, the more addicted you will become. His vocal range is SICK! I have now listened to at least 50, probably more, vocal coaches, musicians, singers, etc. giving their 'reactions' and for the most part, they all act the same during and after his performance. I have seen tears, shrieks of delight, one female vocal coach said "that's impossible" which, as you just heard, is in fact VERY possible. It does sound otherworldly when he gets into those high notes. There is something very ethereal about his abilities, in all the registers but for me, 28 years of professional music and I have never heard a male with a more beautiful range or as much color. The whole package if you ask me. Can't believe that someone like Simon Cowell or David Foster have not snatched him up. I enjoyed your critique (as you were laughing, not AT him but because it's SO bizarre that it is actually funny! ). You're going to get bombed with links for his songs but the first time reactions are the best by far. Good job, guys...keep it up!

Great reaction, guys. You might get different responses from others but I believe you are pronouncing his name correctly. Kind of like “Dee mosh” (as in mosh pit). He is from Kazakhstan. This was in 2017 when he was 22. He is now 25 and has improved both his higher and lower registers. You should look up his profile on Wikipedia to get a better understanding of him. Some highlights: He is a classically trained singer songwriter and multi instrumentalist. Has been training for 20 years and continues to train virtually every day. He has several musical degrees and is currently going for his masters in composition and plans to get a PhD. This performance was for the first episode of a competition of well established singers called “The Singer.” Dimash was invited as a “wild card” and up until then was the youngest contestant ever for the show. He did not speak or understand Chinese or English and was a complete unknown outside of Kazakhstan and some of the former Soviet countries. He speaks Kazakh and Russian fluently and is studying to improve his Mandarin and English. I’m sure you will be recommended to follow his “Singer” journey which is a good place to start. There are 14 episodes and each performance is quite different from the others. He sings in 7 different languages on the show. He had to learn English and Mandarin phonetically so, if you know either language, there are some pronunciation issues. Doesn’t really take away from the performances, though. It’s really a wild ride. But, many of his later performances are remarkable. Sinful Passion at Sochi from 2018 will blow your mind. If you want to see his more current performances, I would recommend Ogni Pietra (from his Arnau concert) and the very recent Passione from New Wave 2019. Both are in Italian and the music is composed by a famous Russian composer, Igor Krutoy, specifically for Dimash’s unique vocal abilities. They are very operatic. Sorry to go on for so long. Dimash has millions of dedicated fans around the world called “Dears” and I’m sure they will be chiming in with other suggestions. I’ll end with this. Dimash is a complete human being - he is intelligent, kind, generous, loving, respectful, and has strong moral values. Despite his prodigious talent, he is very humble and thoughtful. He really loves and appreciates his fans and we feel the same about him.

Dimash have absolutely masterpiece of vocal - "Passione", but I don't recommended do it immediately. Maybe "Love is like a dream" - low notes. Or "Adagio" - amazing control of voice. Or "Ogni Petra" (Olimpico) if you love classical music.
Agree - Passione is a challenging song for some listeners (not Di's performance which is magnificent, but the song itself) so I'd also recommend a few other Dimash songs first. So many to choose from!

Thank you guys for doing a Dimash reaction video. He is 25 yrs old, singer/multi instrumentalist from Kazahkstan, classically trained since he was 5 yrs old in the bel canto technique, he has a 6 octave range and sings in multiple languages. He opted to go for neo opera/crossover instead of joining an opera house. Personally, it's not his range which makes him unique, but the way he uses his techniques in interpreting his songs. This competition for professional singers was 2 yrs ago, you should hear his voice today. The agility & control is simply amazing.

Well. This is a Chinese singing competition which, before 2017, no foreigners has won 1st place. All the other contestants are veteran singers with millions of fans in China. And Dimash was only a 22-yo unknown singer (at the time). You can imagine the rest.

You see that in every country in such televised competitions...they make sure it's not a foreigner winning. But also I was genuinely interested to hear the actual winner because that still is probably an excellent singer most people outside of China, and especially in the West, have not heard of.

Dimash is 22 years old in this performance. He was invited to sing in this Chinese contest called the Singer 2017. He is from Kazakhstan and speaks Kazakh and Russian fluently. He was the Dark horse during this show and was the very first contestant to sing. There are 12 Episodes to the Singer. Damish has done many concerts in Bastau, Moscow, Astana to name a few. If you start with the Singer, please know that he did not speak English very well but as you move along his English is spot on. You will always be surprised with this Vocal Prince. He will shock you every time. He is like no other singer in this entire Wold. Everything about him and his family is a blessing to this World. After I watched this Performance I "inhaled" EVERYTHING Dimash sang in the past, every interview he ever gave.Hey, you won in the lottery. lol. You discovered the best singer in the world. Already a Superstar in Asia and Russia. He is loved and adored by his fans the "Dears", which by the way became the Name from him ! He always said his audience is dear to his heart, and like Family, so he calls them dears. We thankfully accept the Name and Support him wherever we Can. He was at the Show "The worlds best" in the USA at the beginning of 2019. But sorry to say that, it was disgusting how they treated him, don´t watch These Performances. Not just the fact, that they edited his Songs till the brink of unrecognisable, no they lied to him. He just attended with the precondition, that he does not have to compeed with children. In the Kazakh Culture, adults never compeed with children, because it is unfair. Children should have time to develop and have their own competitions, which they have in Kazachstan. They honor children so much ! So, when he once discovered, that he was in the final round with two Little ones, he very respectfully asked the judges to let him step out of the competition. The reaction was a shame ! He gave away Money and victory for the children, and they humiliated him on tv. I am surprised, after that experience, he ever touches American Ground again. But it is DIMASH a loving huming being, he will conquer the world. Step by Step. He will always have our Support.

Honest to God, I think the more you listen to him and explore his world of music, the more addicted you will become. His vocal range is SICK! I have now listened to at least 50, probably more, vocal coaches, musicians, singers, etc. giving their 'reactions' and for the most part, they all act the same during and after his performance. I have seen tears, shrieks of delight, one female vocal coach said "that's impossible" which, as you just heard, is in fact VERY possible. It does sound otherworldly when he gets into those high notes. There is something very ethereal about his abilities, in all the registers but for me, 28 years of professional music and I have never heard a male with a more beautiful range or as much color. The whole package if you ask me. Can't believe that someone like Simon Cowell or David Foster have not snatched him up. I enjoyed your critique (as you were laughing, not AT him but because it's SO bizarre that it is actually funny! ). You're going to get bombed with links for his songs but the first time reactions are the best by far. Good job, guys...keep it up!

А есть вторая группа, которые сидят как в цирке - "ржут", кричат, кривляются (интересно, они свои ролики смотрят?). И это не от эмоций, как правило, произведения слушают серьёзные. Но это их выбор - выкладывать себя в таком виде. Смотрю, т.к. иногда происходит трансформация и человек в начале песни кривляющийся, вдруг замолкает и внимательно слушает. В этот момент Димаш победил! Всем хорошего дня!

Great reaction, guys. You might get different responses from others but I believe you are pronouncing his name correctly. Kind of like “Dee mosh” (as in mosh pit). He is from Kazakhstan. This was in 2017 when he was 22. He is now 25 and has improved both his higher and lower registers. You should look up his profile on Wikipedia to get a better understanding of him. Some highlights: He is a classically trained singer songwriter and multi instrumentalist. Has been training for 20 years and continues to train virtually every day. He has several musical degrees and is currently going for his masters in composition and plans to get a PhD. This performance was for the first episode of a competition of well established singers called “The Singer.” Dimash was invited as a “wild card” and up until then was the youngest contestant ever for the show. He did not speak or understand Chinese or English and was a complete unknown outside of Kazakhstan and some of the former Soviet countries. He speaks Kazakh and Russian fluently and is studying to improve his Mandarin and English. I’m sure you will be recommended to follow his “Singer” journey which is a good place to start. There are 14 episodes and each performance is quite different from the others. He sings in 7 different languages on the show. He had to learn English and Mandarin phonetically so, if you know either language, there are some pronunciation issues. Doesn’t really take away from the performances, though. It’s really a wild ride. But, many of his later performances are remarkable. Sinful Passion at Sochi from 2018 will blow your mind. If you want to see his more current performances, I would recommend Ogni Pietra (from his Arnau concert) and the very recent Passione from New Wave 2019. Both are in Italian and the music is composed by a famous Russian composer, Igor Krutoy, specifically for Dimash’s unique vocal abilities. They are very operatic. Sorry to go on for so long. Dimash has millions of dedicated fans around the world called “Dears” and I’m sure they will be chiming in with other suggestions. I’ll end with this. Dimash is a complete human being - he is intelligent, kind, generous, loving, respectful, and has strong moral values. Despite his prodigious talent, he is very humble and thoughtful. He really loves and appreciates his fans and we feel the same about him.

Dimash have absolutely masterpiece of vocal - "Passione", but I don't recommended do it immediately. Maybe "Love is like a dream" - low notes. Or "Adagio" - amazing control of voice. Or "Ogni Petra" (Olimpico) if you love classical music.
Agree - Passione is a challenging song for some listeners (not Di's performance which is magnificent, but the song itself) so I'd also recommend a few other Dimash songs first. So many to choose from!

They met a year ago in Sochi, Russia, when Dimash performed the astonishing “Sinful Passion”!
