Well Dimash was my painkiller when I broke my knee last easter😂 I lay there in the hospital for a week and had ONLY Dimash in my headphones 24/7 and didn't need any other painkillers 😁 sounds ridiculous right? But true nontheless 🥰

Two of the most profound and insightful comments I have ever heard anyone make about him and as Palillo Palafox said below, "I couldn't agree more." In my 70 years on this planet, I have never heard any male hit those notes with that kind of power and control. Not to mention, he makes it look and sound so simple. It's not. Over 20 years of training went into the making of this young man and I seriously doubt whether or not I will live long enough to hear someone rival him. Great reaction vid!!! Like others have said, Dimash is from Kazakhstan. He is their national treasure as well as the cultural ambassador between China-Kazakhstan. Dimash has been singing on stage for 20 years. He is classically trained. He sings in 12+ languages and plays 8+ instruments. He has done concerts in China, Kazakhstan, Moscow, London and will be doing concerts in the very near future in St. Petersburg, Russia and also NYC on December 23. He sings in 6 octaves. His baritone voice is just as beautiful as his soprano. Hang on and enjoy the ride. (Austin, TX)

His USA concert will be on the 10th of December in NYC at the Barklays Center, they just announced that the start of the tickets sale will be opened very soon.
For all his concerts it’s always a full house and tickets are sold out, because his fans from all over the world coming to his concerts wherever they are held: Kazakhstan, Russia, China or UK. It will be first concert in USA, he also participated in USA show The World's Best, where he was a clear leader, but withdraw to give a way to the talented young contestants that are just starting they way, because he adores children and couldn't compete with them.

Thank you guys for doing a Dimash reaction video. He is 25 yrs old, singer/multi instrumentalist from Kazahkstan, classically trained since he was 5 yrs old in the bel canto technique, he has a 6 octave range and sings in multiple languages. He opted to go for neo opera/crossover instead of joining an opera house. Personally, it's not his range which makes him unique, but the way he uses his techniques in interpreting his songs. This competition for professional singers was 2 yrs ago, you should hear his voice today. The agility & control is simply amazing.

He is not as well known in the USA, but he is getting there. With Dimash it is a journey when you think you know everything he can do with his voice he will amaze you again. Well. This is a Chinese singing competition which, before 2017, no foreigners has won 1st place. All the other contestants are veteran singers with millions of fans in China. And Dimash was only a 22-yo unknown singer (at the time). You can imagine the rest.
@@pichac.7327 Yes..after I posted that response I realised it probably had to do with it being a Chinese competition and Dimash not being Chinese. You see that in every country in such televised competitions...they make sure it's not a foreigner winning. But also I was genuinely interested to hear the actual winner because that still is probably an excellent singer most people outside of China, and especially in the West, have not heard of.

@@reddragonready The winner was a senior singer from Hong Kong name 'Sandy Lam'. She has been in the business for more than 30 years. Even before Dimash was born.
Dimash is a gift to humanity from heaven above, he is the ONLY singer on the planet that gives me tears, laughter, shivers, goosebumps, heart and breath stopping everytime I listen to him, he must be an angel as NO singer ever did that to me, he deserves a Grammy, Oscar and more to come!

Dimash have absolutely masterpiece of vocal - "Passione", but I don't recommended do it immediately. Maybe "Love is like a dream" - low notes. Or "Adagio" - amazing control of voice. Or "Ogni Petra" (Olimpico) if you love classical music.
Agree - Passione is a challenging song for some listeners (not Di's performance which is magnificent, but the song itself) so I'd also recommend a few other Dimash songs first. So many to choose from!

Dimash is 22 years old in this performance. He was invited to sing in this Chinese contest called the Singer 2017. He is from Kazakhstan and speaks Kazakh and Russian fluently. He was the Dark horse during this show and was the very first contestant to sing. There are 12 Episodes to the Singer. Damish has done many concerts in Bastau, Moscow, Astana to name a few. If you start with the Singer, please know that he did not speak English very well but as you move along his English is spot on. You will always be surprised with this Vocal Prince. He will shock you every time. He is like no other singer in this entire Wold. Everything about him and his family is a blessing to this World. Sit back and relax and please watch the video and then react. Stopping the video repeatedly can be annoying. Great first reaction though. God bless. That was hilarious to watch, haha. It reminds me of myself, when I dicovered Dimash, a few month ago. After I watched this Performance I "inhaled" EVERYTHING Dimash sang in the past, every interview he ever gave.Hey, you won in the lottery. lol. You discovered the best singer in the world. Already a Superstar in Asia and Russia. He is loved and adored by his fans the "Dears", which by the way became the Name from him ! He always said his audience is dear to his heart, and like Family, so he calls them dears. We thankfully accept the Name and Support him wherever we Can. He was at the Show "The worlds best" in the USA at the beginning of 2019. But sorry to say that, it was disgusting how they treated him, don´t watch These Performances. Not just the fact, that they edited his Songs till the brink of unrecognisable, no they lied to him. He just attended with the precondition, that he does not have to compeed with children. In the Kazakh Culture, adults never compeed with children, because it is unfair. Children should have time to develop and have their own competitions, which they have in Kazachstan. They honor children so much ! So, when he once discovered, that he was in the final round with two Little ones, he very respectfully asked the judges to let him step out of the competition. The reaction was a shame ! He gave away Money and victory for the children, and they humiliated him on tv. I am surprised, after that experience, he ever touches American Ground again. But it is DIMASH a loving huming being, he will conquer the world. Step by Step. He will always have our Support.

Haha, Dimash first time is always a shock! I would recommend Opera 2, Late autumn, Hello, Daybreak in Bastau, Diva Dance in Bastau, Hello, Sinful passion and Ogni Pietra, but you will never really go wrong with him, vocal wise he is a phenomenon

Great observation about songs for his range. The most famous Russian composer maestro Igor Krutoy heard him and got back from retirement to compose for the him. Currently there are two songs, Ogni Pie and Passione, but there will be a whole album. I still recommend going through songs from the Singer (this competition) first because his voice gets better and better (this was two years ago, what you watched).
I would watch Autumn Strong, Show must go on, Daybreak, Adagio, Hello first, then go on to Sinful Passion, Love is like a dream, Know and then the two I mentioned before.
He has 20 years of classical education in music under his belt, a 6+ octaves range, a mass of techniques so it will be a ride! Welcome to Dimash world and thanks for a great reaction 💞

Great reaction, guys. You might get different responses from others but I believe you are pronouncing his name correctly. Kind of like “Dee mosh” (as in mosh pit). He is from Kazakhstan. This was in 2017 when he was 22. He is now 25 and has improved both his higher and lower registers. You should look up his profile on Wikipedia to get a better understanding of him. Some highlights: He is a classically trained singer songwriter and multi instrumentalist. Has been training for 20 years and continues to train virtually every day. He has several musical degrees and is currently going for his masters in composition and plans to get a PhD. This performance was for the first episode of a competition of well established singers called “The Singer.” Dimash was invited as a “wild card” and up until then was the youngest contestant ever for the show. He did not speak or understand Chinese or English and was a complete unknown outside of Kazakhstan and some of the former Soviet countries. He speaks Kazakh and Russian fluently and is studying to improve his Mandarin and English. I’m sure you will be recommended to follow his “Singer” journey which is a good place to start. There are 14 episodes and each performance is quite different from the others. He sings in 7 different languages on the show. He had to learn English and Mandarin phonetically so, if you know either language, there are some pronunciation issues. Doesn’t really take away from the performances, though. It’s really a wild ride. But, many of his later performances are remarkable. Sinful Passion at Sochi from 2018 will blow your mind. If you want to see his more current performances, I would recommend Ogni Pietra (from his Arnau concert) and the very recent Passione from New Wave 2019. Both are in Italian and the music is composed by a famous Russian composer, Igor Krutoy, specifically for Dimash’s unique vocal abilities. They are very operatic. Sorry to go on for so long. Dimash has millions of dedicated fans around the world called “Dears” and I’m sure they will be chiming in with other suggestions. I’ll end with this. Dimash is a complete human being - he is intelligent, kind, generous, loving, respectful, and has strong moral values. Despite his prodigious talent, he is very humble and thoughtful. He really loves and appreciates his fans and we feel the same about him.

Dimash is from Kazakhstan, 22 years old at the time of this performance (1-21-2017), born in a musical family, classically trained yet with a BA in pop and jazz music, currently working on a Master’s in composition. You asked a question which is not rhetorical any more. Yes, there is one person who composes specifically for Dimash: Igor Krutoy, a famous Russian composer and songwriter. They met a year ago in Sochi, Russia, when Dimash performed the astonishing “Sinful Passion”! Since then, they first partnered by refurbishing some old masterpieces by Krutoy such as The Love of Tired Swans, Love is Like a Dream, Know, and Mademoiselle Hyde. But now they have already produced two songs specifically written for Dimash: Ogni Pietra/ Olympico and just recently, Passione.
Every Dimash song is a wonder to behold but why don’t you check out Hello which he sang a year later when he was invited back to Singer 2018 as a guest artist at the final gala. It’s a great example of how Dimash covered popular songs but modified them to showcase his voice but also totally infusing them with a new character.
By the way::::: Dimash has just announced his first ever US concert: December 10 at the Barclays Center in New York. Tickets will be available for pre-sale on 9/10 and open to regular sale on 9/13.

Dimash is from Kazakhstan. He speaks fluent Russian, his native language and can sing in over 12 languages. His mother is an opera singer and father a musician. He was trained when he was 4 years old and by the age of 5, he was composing music. He also plays 5 different musical instruments. He won the best opera singer 2019 in Russia. The ability of his gorgeous voice and the ranges of F2 - D8, makes it sound as natural as breathing. We are blessed to witness such rare GEM in our lifetime.

He has had sellout concerts in China, Russia... He will be at Barclay Center in New York Dec. 10, 2019. He calls his fans his "Dears". He is the kindest nicest performer you will ever find. He was on World's Best and was about to win it and stepped aside after the last performance for several children performers. They had told him he would not be competing against children.
