When I fitted mine I used a stanley knife to start off the cutting line then used a soldering gun with a blade. It took me around 15 minutes to cut it out and much neater.

How its gonna work with a sound system and a Subwoofer it has rca ports?
For anyone trying to do this install, I viewed another video for the same type of screen install. That guy used a utility knife to cut outer leather top and the foam. For the hard plastic surface below he used a soldering iron tool which allowed for a clean cut.

Can someone please help....I succesfully installed my Anroid Unit also. But it leaves a small gap on the side of the steering. Where can i further cut to close it
what size display is it 8 inches or bigger?
Isn't the screen glare annoying/tiring at night? It's not OLED. Dont you feel you had better visual acuity at night before?

Is it possible to see that it is broken in the upper left part, was it a bad installation or does the cutting template come with the wrong measurements?
I think it was cutting template since I had to cut more and more like 10 times after having a clear teplate just to get the screen in 😅
Hey! thanks for sharing. Is it a PERFECT FIT? meaning no noticeable gaps between the frame and the dashboard?
Unfortunately there were some signs, it's not perfect fit, at least in my case I've been trying to play around with cutting bit by bit for perfect fit for whole day and still had some missfit. It's not much, something like 0.5-1cm missfit at some places, but if you would use smaller cutting hole and some super glue to force frame in - that should work
The ECU mode doesn't give you any more information other than the speed and RPM?

hello! I upgraded the system but now nothing works, I try to revert the upgrade but I can't do it, do you have a link for original firmware? I can't find it.. I think i can install it over the USB plug but only if i can find it somewhere

Dvr in cam cable, red wire instead of reverse light drive to radio dvr 12v output , :) , works whole time but this player switches itself in reverse

Hello, yes. Might be slight miss on applying the sticker and then cutting the hole, some superglue should help

Does it not require you to plug the android to the oem aux port for sound?
It sound works when you choose aux input from default radio, but to connect android you get a wire that extends default plug to 2 outputs, one goes to standart, other one to android
I basically installed my screen and you know the wire power harness which you show at 6:50. I broke the yellow wire within the fuse box when fitting the wires all in as i was done. But i can't seem to find the wire ANYWHERE online even aliexpress or ebay or Amazon. I even tried reaching the company which sent me the screne and they said they're on New years break. DO you know where i'd be able to find this Power harness wire since its the same in the video?
not sure to be honest, would try to contact resellers and ask them if they can sell the harness seperately

Did you have issue with changing screen? When i turn blinker my navigation changes screen to reverse camera. If u had same problem what did you do to fix it?
Didn't have any issues myself, I would suspect a faulty unit or some of the wiring wrong
so android radio is connected with original one. Which means needs to have 2 radios in the car cant remove the original one ?

There is no way back after this, I am worried that it will reduce the price of the car if I want to sell it, because it will no longer be in original condition with damaged dashboard. I probably prefer the standard 2 din radio.

Hello, I’ve got this already but it’s stopped working. I have a RHD one which is usually more expensive so I was thinking if I buy a LHD one but use my RHD facia will it fit? I’m sure it’s just the same screen what do you think?

@@wasimk9131hope this is my issue. Mines acting weird, it’s staying turned on always after having no issues for months. So it drains my battery. Hopefully it’s just a cable or something but I doubt it
@@silas.anderson oh wait i had this issue when i first got it a pin in the wiring loom was loose i just pushed it in. it was a pink wire.

That is absolute horror - there is no way to reverse this out if the vendor of this HU ever goes out of business
bullshit. there are like 20 different companies that make this product. if one goes out, worst case you still have the hole in the dash (all the companies use the same exact fitment) you replace it.
