Hey that's a big compliment, thanks again!! If you're interested in seeing more, follow the channel, I'll post new content regularly 😊! Have a good one!
Sounds great man. I’m currently playing a friends 1994 ES 175. I’m hooked but can’t find any ES guitars. I’m thinking of snagging a Eastman AR372CE. Have you played any ES in past? How compare? Sounds great man keep it going! ✌🏼
Hey man! Thanks a lot 😊 The only ES175 I played was a 1976 in a music shop so can't really tell I'm sorry. But one thing for sure is that Eastman guitars are high quality instruments and a fraction of the price of Gibson's. I was so stocked with mine, I even bought an acoustic Eastman earlier this year witch is also a really good guitar! Thanks again for the comment and hope you subscribe !
I owned ES 175 in the early 1970's. They are thicker, heavier, thinner at the nut. I like the 1 3/4 nut. My 371 is less prone to feedback and is just under 5 lbs. With Thomastik JS113 the tone difference is negligible.
Thanks man ! Yes it's just a NT-1 and the guitar is a blend of the plugged sound and the mic. Did the same thing for another video of a Joe Pass cover to try to capture that acoustic tone he had on the recording
@@henrytuton9019 I don't mind but I'm really not sure since it's been a while ! Probably the combination of the mic recording and a clean sound in amplitube 5 !
This is an incredible rig! What’s the gear rundown? And awesome playing/tattoos(I’m working on some sleeves currently as well!). I’m gonna subscribe to the channel, dude, and I’d love if you checked out my improvs, especially my newest, Immortal Serenade. Let me know from a fellow player’s point of view what you think! And please sub if you like what you hear! Thanks so much for your time, man
You're way better than me but I would say that your playing of this style of music would benefit if you were to just ease off that 'spank' a bit. It jars a little.
Thank you for the critique! I've started to mic the guitar and mix it with the recording of the amp to get a more acoustic sound ala Joe Pass! Maybe I should tweek the eq a bit more next time. Check my other videos if you'd like, I normally just record the amp and it sounds more jazzy as I think you like!
sound, tone, phrasing, everything is cool!!!

Great tone on the recording. I see the mic (Rode NT-1?) - was that involved?

Such a great tone! Did you change anything on the Eastman? pickups?
Hey thanks a lot man !! 😊 No everything is stock! The pickups are the originals Kent Armstrong
Were you using the orange amps for this?
Absolutely not haha! Only there for the look of the video
What did you use if you dont mind me.asking
