I just got the kato and I am blown away how good they sound, I usually listen with sennheiser hd660s and hd660s2 with topping a90d and astell&kern kann alpha as source. The kato sound just as good
The Snow fixed all the issues I faced with my set of the Aria 2021. I appreciate how Moondrop provided a replacement set when I presented proof. The cable shorted, it caused channel imbalance even with different cables, and the paint was chipping. I'd still recommend the Aria with a replacement cable and it's the best Moondrop set I own. Although I was pleasantly surprised by the Chu, the Spring tips alone were worth the buy but I plan on using them a bunch since they're light, have a mic, and won't hurt as much to break, lose, etc.
The only moondrop I've ever tried are the Chu, I really like how the neutral-bright tuning makes music come off as "clear" to me, and I haven't had the durability issues that I've seen others mention (if it helps, i got the version with the mic). The cable is the biggest drawback to me, but I kind of like the hook-less design even if it has trouble staying secure sometimes. They got me through finals week, so they've got a special place in my heart just for that.
I got the chu because of your video. However, I got the chance to demo the variations soon after, which immediately became my favorite. The bass separation was so clean and the female vocals sounded so euphoric!
Moondrop is definitely a safe bet for good audio, the sound signature isn't far from each other, I have the Aria and Kato thanks to your recommendation and I love them.
@@hansennoah1 Aria is more fun, a more V-shaped sound, very present basses, good blow to the head, clear mids and good treble extension. Kato is more balanced, good bass but more controlled, the mids are clear and crisp better than the Aria and the treble is with good extension but controlled, no sibilance. I particularly like the more refined sound of the kato. In addition, the cable and accessories of the kato are of much better quality.
I picked up the Aria, after watching your reviews and hearing how it is a great iem for beginners or as a budget iem. So far the Aria doesn't disappoint. Keep up the great videos.
Haven't tried many Moondrop IEMS but i had SSP before and it was amazing, the tuning was beautiful, so clean, so transparent and natural. Good luck for everyone!
Finally! I've been waiting for you to release this video :D I really liked the Moondrop Aria (OG Black version) because it's really a balanced listening for my ears. It works for gaming for me too, could be better though. The female vocals of IU and other singers that I listen to really pop out more than gear I used before. Pretty safe for a starter to the IEM-world too!
The original Arias are my favorite because of how clear they sound and how elegant they look with the black and rose gold color scheme. The box illustration is also nice too.
My favorite has to be the Moondrop Blessing 2. It's my IEM endgame and I love how it looks, especially because I got the engraved version (the left side has the box art of the Solis I believe). It fits my tuning preferences, and lucky for me, it fits my ears well enough for me to call them comfortable despite its large nozzle.
my fave would be blessing 2, up till now i think its still one of the best in that price bracket , also the build quality is really top notch ! too bad not everyone like its fitting
My most favorite moondrop IEM is this Aria Snow Edition for sure!!! it looks really amazing. Cant handle myself with this snow edition hahaha. For now, im using Moondrop Chu, and it feels good. Can't wait to get my Aria snow edition soon :)
My favourite is probably the B2 Dusk. I don't own them tho. Tried my friends. I own the KXXS and SSP. The KXXS is good but the shell kinda get uncomfortable on my right ear over time.
The Chu's are my favorite since they sound so good for so cheap, along with the fact that it is built well, albeit while having a non-removable cable, which is the only downside of the chu's for me.
I have one right now, but I broke it just yesterday. Not really the Chu's fault, I just suck at keeping IEMs in general. Sound wise, it's something I enjoy pretty well. Been looking for a replacement under 50, I could buy the Chu again obviously, but I also wanna try and listen to more sub 50 dollar IEM's. Haven't found too much yet, there's definitely common recommendations like the Tin Hifi T2 Plus and the Blon BL03, but there's also less well known ones like the Tripowin Lea and the Astrotec Vesna. Do you have any recommendations within the price range, preferably a detachable cable one, but an attached one will also do.
@@foxgaming76yt24 sure the cca cra are nice if you want to try something with sparkly treble and deep bass. It’s very clean and powerful but without a lot of note weight. That’s one of my favorites. If you want a laid back warm bassy iem the tripowin mele is very good. Especially for rock and rap. The Lea is very good as well it has a nice balanced sound with a little bass pop but the cable that comes with it is garbage so I’d look at an extra $15 to replace that. The quarks are warm neutral but sound very good and are super easy to just pop in your ears. The t2 as you mentioned are very good, especially good for vocals and have a tight polite way of presenting bass an instruments which I really like. There’s a lot of good options out there.
Out of interest what is it you dislike about the SSP/SSR cable compared to the Aria cable? I thought the cable was pretty nice, I know Super Review likes that cable a lot too.
My favorite is the Chu for bringing that level of quality to the lowest pricepoints. It's a great suggestion for absolute newcomers or just something that gets thrown in a bag and not looked after.
From what I've read the "Snow" edition uses a different driver tech/coating than the "Aria" as well as different tuning. Great review as always Timmy thank you. Also Timmy, what the hell is a DAB, I know what a DAP is digital audio player but DAB?
Moondrop Chu was my first Moondrop's IEM and my favorite so far! I was using CRA before Chu and i was surprised how well tuned Chu is. I was planing to buy either Aria or Titan S but after the Aria SE pop up, i'll probably think a lil bit longer and see how Aria SE performs
My favorite so far is the Chu. The sound signature is good and I like the airiness compared to the other darker tuned IEMs. I may eventually move up the Moondrop ladder. I like their design and build quality in general.
I love the fractal-esque design of the Snow! My favorite Moondrop model is the S8 for the way the mid/treble complement so well. Thanks for the review Giz!
I got my Arias about a month ago and just fell in love with the sound. Besides, I have Elven Maiden edition, so this design for me is the best under 100$.
My first and only Moondrop is the Aria, but I'm jealous of the amazing box art and design of this Snow edition! My Variations are on the way so they will be my 2nd Moondrop product (jumping into the deep end, I know :p).
The KXXS have been my favorites so far, but that will probably change soon. Love the look of the Aria Snow Edition here, and I look forward to hearing them.
My favorite among the moondrop lineup that I have would have to be the Blessing 2 Dusk. I started my moondrop journey with the KXXS but once I got to try the Blessing 2 Dusk, I rarely go back.
My "favourite" is the moondrop chu since it's the only one i used an currently own. But i want to either buy the blessing 2 dusk or the variations in the future.
i never tried/owned any other moondrop iem except for aria, so aria will be my favorite for now… hi timmy, your storage case is nice though, can you share where you purchase them? tia
I just got the Chu and Aria yesterday and I gotta say, I can see why people like the Aria now and how the Chu is also an amazing IEM for such a low price. But between the 2, my favourite has got to be the Aria.
The Moondrop Chu's are my very first Moondrop IEM and I love them! Really wanted to go for the Arias but based on the reviews I watched it seems like the Chu's were a better deal. Hoping to get an Aria so that I can compare them, and it would be good to have more varieties of sound signatures.
My favourite iem from moondrop family is moondrop chu. It brings high quality sound to the masses. With its fantastic tuning, it gives a taster of what a good tuned iem or sound is like. It helped audio industry as well, people who aren't audiophile are buying this as there first iem, so that they can taste what good quality sound is like. Chu is well priced audio revelation.
Moondrop Chu's are my favourite so far. Been waiting for a review like this to know whether I should go for the ARIA or ARIA SNOW. I've tried the BLESSING 2's in an audio store and I was blown away but they're out of my budget for now. Really looking forward to AB my Arias or Aria Snows to try single ended and Balanced, also very eager to receive my Moondrop Dawn DAC.
My favourite will be the blessing2 dusk. I don't own one but I have tried it a few times from my friend. Love its design and sound quality just like the rest of Moondrop's IEM.
My fav moondrop so far and the only one I have is the Chu! It's super affordable and also still one of the iems I would recommend to friends new to the hobby.
One of my favourites from Moondrop is the SSR! It was the IEM that got me into this hobby! It’s super good sounding for the money and can be EQed to be extra punchy in the bass!
I have only ever bought the Moondrop Chu, but it’s impressed me very well, the Low end is done very well for me, it doesn’t have a overly boomy tone, yet it still provides a very nice punch of bass, vocals and treble in general aren’t pulled back either, and overall still remains fairly energetic for me, so for under 30 dollars, it’s greatly impressed me. But an Aria would probably be an upgrade in general, mainly it’s detachable cables(I mean, sound is somewhat subjective so I can’t compare much in this aspect, especially since I haven’t heard it yet), but having an Aria would definitely allow me to expand my moondrop collection. Maybe once I can properly take care of my in ears, I might be able to confidently purchase the Moondrop Kato or the Blessing 2, but in the meantime, the Aria is probably gonna do well enough for me, whether it’s the standard or snow variant.
I only own 1 pair of Moondrop IEMs and that's the Chu and I love them and recommended them to all my friends who don't wanna spend a lot of money on Headphones/Earphones
I love the look of these over the originals, but I already have them, so I'll probably wait to see how the Diokos turn out, and maybe pick up a pair of those.
The original moondrop aria is my favorite not only because it's been recommended to many who are trying to get in the iem space but also because of it is a bang for the buck iem imo
Tried out Aria and Chu. It's actually insane how well they perform for the price especially the Chu. I would say it's my favourite just because of the Bang 4 Buck ratio
My favourite moondrop so far is the moondrop Starfield. I have ever only heard these, the quarks and the spaceships.... hoping to try more in the future.
My favorite so far is the Aria. But, I did get the Chu’s too. And I like them a lot. I like Chu’s for listening to K-Pop, J-Pop, and C-Pop music. Just has a clearer mid/treble sound. And I used the Aria’s for everything else. I changed the ear tips around, as a like the way the Aria sound with the spring tips. I hear the Snow Edition has a slightly better treble, a little less bass. Which may appeal to me. Thank you for all the great reviews. I’ve learned a lot from your channel. Good luck to everyone entered.
Ooh … very nice song of choice 😎 I’ve never owned a Moondrop IEM, crazy right? But if I were to get one, the Variations would be my choice. These are super pretty, btw. Love the design of everything. The box, IEM it self, carrying case … all very nice.
I have the Aria, and I love them. I’m doing my research to determine what my next pair will be. I want to try something different to see if I like a different sound better or not. Any recommendations on a good upgrade?
The only Moondrop IEM I have is the Chu. Actually, it’s the only wired IEM I have, since I’m new to this world. I have ordered the Dunu Titan S as an upgrade, but I’m interested in the Aria as well.
Favorite moondrop iem right now would be quarks paired with final E, which is used mostly for sleeping buds and watching movies. They serve well for the purpose.
Haven't tried a single Moondrop ever. However, I think this Aria Snow edition would be my most favorite one in terms of the looks.
I just got the kato and I am blown away how good they sound, I usually listen with sennheiser hd660s and hd660s2 with topping a90d and astell&kern kann alpha as source. The kato sound just as good

It's unfortunate this new beautiful Aria had lose sub bass, for my taste the original Aria still need a little bit sub bass
So far the OG Moondrop Aria is my favourite one, organic sounding, warm-ish sounding, and wide soundstage.
Finally! I've been waiting for you to release this video :D

love my Blessing 2's. My favorite tuned iem/headphone out of all of my gear
First time i hard the blessing 2 i was in awe. Hands down the most iconic and my favourite moondrop to date.
Great video. I just bought the Kato’s and I’m floored with the performance. Would like to step up to the BD2 at some point.
Me favorite Moondrop I have is the Kato, which I purchased after watching your review. Also have the chu for working out with

I started with the Arias und looking forward to get more of them!
The chu's are another iem that never fail to amaze me for what 20 dollars can get!
The Blessing 2 Dusk is my favorite of course the sound and the iem itself just *chef kiss

Monndrop Aria for now, working on looking at other Iem's
Moondrop Quarks. Love how discreet and simple it is but have a good sound.
I don't have any moondrop iems nor any iems I'm general. I just bought a quedelix q5 portable dac and just started looking for iems yesterday
my favourite iem is moondrop aria, bought it because you highly recommended it and I love it

My favorite has to be the Kato! Love the looks, and sound awesome. 👌
My favorite iem from Moondrop are the Variations tried my friends set and it sounded incredible. I currently own the SSP and Normal Aria
My favourite is the Kato. Just perfect for my sound preference.
What is the title of the outro song
im really confused which iem to get. thats why im tuning in. im interested in kato as well.
I like the Moondrop Variations. It is consistently viewed at the top of many lists.
I love the look of these over the originals, but I already have them, so I'll probably wait to see how the Diokos turn out, and maybe pick up a pair of those.
Just getting into the IEM hobby and purchased the original Aria. A favorite thus far
My favourite Moondrop iem is the Chu, it is a nice, cheap iem that sound quite incredible
The Aria is what I want to try - seems like the best deal for me, gotta hear them first though.
My favourite moondrop so far is the moondrop Starfield. I have ever only heard these, the quarks and the spaceships.... hoping to try more in the future.
My favorite is the aria because it’s the only one I’ve owned so far. Loving it with the balanced cable I have
I love the variations, they where my first time ever
My favourite has to be the Variations, I'd say the most complete package
Blessing 2 Dusk is my favorite. Of course, the Kato is a close second with a little less detail

These are super pretty, btw. Love the design of everything. The box, IEM it self, carrying case … all very nice.
In terms of looks, This Snow is my favorite so far, soundwise I only have Elven Maiden so by default it is my fav :D
I have the Aria, and I love them. I’m doing my research to determine what my next pair will be. I want to try something different to see if I like a different sound better or not. Any recommendations on a good upgrade?
Timeless
The only Moondrop IEM I have is the Chu. Actually, it’s the only wired IEM I have, since I’m new to this world. I have ordered the Dunu Titan S as an upgrade, but I’m interested in the Aria as well.
