I appreciate Fabiano's candor and honest responses to media questions...
One breath... He explained whole game 🎉 just a insane mind😮
This weekend is going to be wild. Hopefully Fabi pulls it out!
His pullout game is too weak
Can’t wait to fabi to pull his big one out
I'd rather see him putting it in.
Those comments really put me off
Congratulations Fabi!
gg lets go fabi
LETS GO FABI!!!!
I hope Fabi is going to win the candidates tournament and face Ding.
Fabi always impresses me in these recaps
Fav favorite🎉
"I lost to Hikaru, and at this point I pretty much expect that"
You don't know how quotes work
lets go fabiw
9:40 sagar shaw sir🎉
An extremely cold and machine like player.
Not at all. He clearly is no machine cause he is making mistakes like all other top players.
And he is calm - not cold. He expresses his feelings rather frequently but he does not show his feelings in public so much - why should he?
@@BoothTheGrey Well it is not a scoop that he is biological and not a machine, of course. But i double and say he is cold as dry ice. Some people are more prone to emotions it is connected to certain hormones. He is dry of any emotion to a point to make even his talk sound like a robot.
@@ericastier1646 I can only repeat: Not at all. If you dont catch his emotions... I dont know why. I get A LOT of his emotions when he talks. I like listen to his podcast and also when he is doing interviews.
And again: Being calm doesnt mean dont have and also doesnt mean to not talk about the emotions. You dont have to express emotions to talk about them.
You seem to think that having emotions means you do have to express them by your behaviour. Its OK. I do know that its possible to not do that and still have deep emotions. That you automatically make an assumption about his personality... well.... in my opinion is not the best way in getting closer to reality.
But its your life and your conception of reality.
I still just reject your claim. I see Fabi totally different.
@@BoothTheGrey I like the way you explain your opinion but can you explain me what's the difference between being calm and being cold
clash of chess gladiators
Where is Vidit?
Greedy VD too greedy to volunteer his time
Bad loser
This interviewer is so bad look at fabi's reactions to the questions
I'm sorry but fabi's nerves are frayed right now. If he was like hikaru and just focused on playing good chess like he does when he play's other tournament's, he would have a better chance. I would say hikaru and nepo have the best nerves
Nerves are frayed? He just won a critical game. He’s not in first, but he still has a chance to win the tournament.
Fabi almost never gets frayed. He’s got nerves of steel. And I say this as someone who is primarily rooting for hikaru.
@@CareyFan Fabi too me just looks way too tense. The way he's playing right now, I just feel like its not up to his standard. I'm not saying Fabi is having a bad tournament, I just imagined fabi would be where hikaru is now. His performance to me right now just falls a little short. That is only an indication to me that he's feeling the pressure, and might underperform due to nervousness. And the criitical game he was was against firouja. Firouja is having a bad tournament for the most part. He won as black againt Alireza but could win with black against abasov. A 2632 drew against a 2799. On a normal day, I feel like fabi would win that
@@Jazzygoesomnom Fabi's performance rating for this tournament is exactly 2800. That's what his rating is. He's performing exactly as expected and playing at a high standard. He converted his win in a superior position. And he's only half a point out of the lead. Hikaru has actually slightly overperformed (2836 performance rating).
Abasov also scored 2 draws against co-leader Ian. In his draw against Fabiano, Abasov had a 97.9 accuracy, which is super GM level. Fabi only has a single loss in the entire tournament. Fabi is playing just fine.
@@CareyFan How do you check the performance rating for players playing in tournaments?
