Kenyan Sand Boa is the one to buy. They eat all the time they hardly refuse a meal. You can have many in one room and it doesn't smell when they poop or pee. They are very hardy and you can probably feed them once a month and they can go without water for a month I'm sure since they come from dessert areas where there isn't much. They are not expensive buy and or keep as a pet. They come in many color mutations. In case you didn't know they wag their tail like a dog when you rub a frozen thawed mouse on there lower back. You won't be disappointed with a Kenyan Sand Boa.

As a European who might be interested in keeping a reptile myself in hte, it would be interesting to know more about the differences in difficulty of finding these animals in Europe and whether keeping them is legal or not. I remember you mentioning the law issues of keeping Hognoses because of them being venomous snakes, but I'm not sure what the laws in Europe are about this issue in comparison to the US.

Hognoses have little cheeks which are adorable.
Sand boas are extended sock puppets, which is also adorable.
