Have a pair on my Ulysses. Absolutely love them. Plus my heated grips work great (high or low setting) right through them. Between Grip Puppies and a throttle lock, it's a life-changing, ride changing combo.
Increasing the weight of the OEM bar ends and or adding bar end weight/sliders seems to be my favorite way to to dampen vibration. It also allows me to run the texture and hardness ( soft, medium, hard). On road bikes I like the medium on track bike soft with only the clip-on push in nylon caps to have maximum front end feed back.
