And even then, he is a shit friend to Stewie. He cannot stop being selfish even for his actual best friend. He doesn't even acknowledge him and calls Peter his best friend. Brian straight up sucks.
He hates that Stewie could be everything he wants to be. He can't make a decent play, but the one Stewie made was basically a bestseller if he hadn't changed it to spare his feelings, he keeps losing his girlfriends yet felt like he had the right to complain about his genuinely happy relationship with Penelope (yes, murdering people for the sake of it is awful, but they did sincerely love each other), and he knowingly sabotaged his healthy friendship with Omar out of jealousy, when he very easily could've TOLD HIM how he was feeling. Brian in the newer seasons definitely comes off as someone who's unhappy with their life, so he doesn't want the few people he has as friends to get ahead in theirs.
Stewie isn't innocent, in 150, Stewie is instigating most of the drama and constantly putting Brian down for basically no reason, then there was that time Stewie kidnapped all of Brian's siblings and put them in Saw traps so Brian would take him to see Hannah Montanna (it was in the DVD cut, not the broadcast version) and who could forget the time that Stewie BURNED BRIAN ALIVE. I could go into a long Quagmire speech about how Stewie is a bad person but I will spare you that pain, one Quagmire speech is enough.
I think Brian is simply envious that Stewie has accomplished much more at the age of one than Brian ever has at the age of maybe 7 years (since he’s a dog). If anything, Stewie should be the inspiration for Brian to actually do something with his life instead of being a pretentious prick!
Me reading the title: Why would Brian hate Stewie, Kitty Monk? They seem to be best friends. Tell me the story while I climb under the covers and get comfy.
Stewie: Hey dog look I'm smoking. Hey dog! Dog! Brian: Shut up! Stewie to Lois: The Dog just told me to shut up! I demand to know what you plan to do about this! Hey! The Dog told me to shut up!
He kinda used to but the latest special, he claimed that only Stewie his best friend, he's pretty much his only friend. I guess who Brian as best friend at the start of the show faded away because he puts his sworn enemy Quagmire before him
The house WAS purchased thanks to the funds from the lawsuit, but Peter then sold the house, to move to that one mansion that they inherited, ultimately resulting in him buying back the Spooner St house at 2x its worth. So weirdly, it should still be an owned home, but not because of the broken condom lawsuit.
I'm going to be honest I used to really like Brian he was a voice of reason. But later seasons they made him such an unlikable person. Especially how he treated his son
On some level I think Brian does resent Stewie, not just for his intelligence but also for his condescending demeanor whenever they interact; I think Brian is somewhat aware that Stewie seems to go out of his way to ruin Brian's social life so he has no choice but to hang out with Stewie exclusively. Anytime Brian has a new love interest Stewie is usually in the plot and finds someway to ruin it by forcing Brian to take steps he isn't ready for and as a result the relationship flops. Not to mention the really creepy crush Stewie has on Brian, seriously Family Guy writers that isn't nor has it ever been funny; especially since they continually note Brian is an adult dog and Stewie is explicitly still a year old....
Boppo. Hard to say, Modern Brian probably, Season 1-5 Brian, probably not. I think the single scene in the entire series is the climax of the bank vault episode, that whole episode shows that despite the hundreds of flaws Brian has, Stewie is the only member of the family that genuinely respects and cares for Brian, through beyond hell and high water or whatever arguments they get into, and is the only one in Brians life who genuinely tries to reach out to him, other than maybe Meg, because if anyone in that town could talk Brian into taking the gun away from his head, it is Stewie, however than again theres been hundreds of times where Stewie has fucked Brian over in ways worse then the rest of the family. Genuinely wish they kept the therapist plotline for Brian going.
There are episodes where Brian does care for Stewie like the peanut butter kid. He’s trying to stop Stewie become a trophy kid for Peter and Lois or the episode where he goes into Stewie’s dreams to fight a monster he does care for Stewie. It’s just his ego gets too big.
"Herpe, the Love Sore" aired in the same season, or 8 episodes after the episode where Stewie is able to go back in time to save Brian's life. Brian literally owes his life to Stewie and still gave him herpes.
Given how much further the character decline has gone, Stewie did not do him any favors by doing that. Tearing him away from blissful oblivion back into this living hellscape.
About Brian mistreating Stewie, I can think of a few episodes where Stewie does the same same The biggest one is our idiot Brian, where Stewie basically got Brian back his smarts just because he liked to hang out with Brian and this was basically without Brian’s consent, even calls him out for this
Sometime yes. His two worst moments in my opinion were being a famous snob and treating Stewie like garbage as repayment for getting his book published, AND infecting him with herpes with NOTHING TO GAIN! Both of which, have negatively affected Stewie.
Honestly the blood brothers thing was one we got warned about in school when they taught us about STDs. They said it's like the one sure fire way to get an STD is sharing blood. They told us sex had a high risk, but was not a guarantee, hence "Get tested" - but doing the blood brothers thing was and then referenced movies and like 1 case they're not even sure was a "Blood brothers" ritual as part of how AIDs spread in the US or something. But I also learned about a ... I guess "cleaner" ritual that does the same. Norse men apparently would dig a tunnel in the ground or a bog or something and then each person going through would add their blood before anyone went through and then you'd crawl through to be literally "Reborn" as "Brothers". Since the earth was birthing you back out. And most often they'd cover the wound before going through [mostly to keep the mud and guck out of it but it kept the blood out too].
Well Stewie did beat up Brian after losing a bet, ruined his second chance at college by convincing him to cheat his way and made him ruined his chances with Caroline by not having sex with her.
Anyone else notice that it's kinda become and episode plot cliché to have Brian and Stewie believe that there friendship is falling apart, so they do something dumb to fix it, that was unnecessary cause they just had some miscommunication.
It's not a myth. Dog's can't see it the same colors we can they can see just a few just not all it has something to do with the way their eyes reflect light differently than ours do
No Brian dont hate stewie, he hate the fact stewie is only friend since he got kick off peter group because of quagmire, and he so bad that no body want to be his friends beside stewie, but that dont mean it a good friendship, which of course it not
ONE DAY ON A BOOK?! You're right, writers WOULD hate that. Where's the passion in that? Yuck. I've been working on my books for nearly 5 years, but that's cause I go back and improve things and don't work a lot. It's barely the same story it was when it started, but that's good! It's growing.
I don't find the MnMs gag funny because it's not accurate to the 2 colors they can see. If it was a joke about "I said no blues or yellows" it would be a lot funnier.
Everything in the Stewie/Brian episodes have been from Stewie’s point of view. Brian is a self proclaimed intellectual and jerk (sometimes) from his and other characters points of view. After all, it is all just the product of the writing staff.
On some level... No, he's clearly one of, in not his only, real friends. Brian does seem to realize that, since he mainly bonds with him, and only him (Kinda drifted off from everyone else). On every other level... Yes. Brian is a horrid wretch, that really only gets worse with time. He treats everyone variously bad.
First Glenn Quagmire hates brain the most in every eps and then Brain hates stewie some eps sometimes Brain cares about Swetie if Brain forgives him any eps as a family with Peter, Lois, Meg, Chris and Jasper Brain's cousin
there's several flavors of herpes and except for i believe two of 'em they don't last a life time and, except for those couple, they can be completely cured pretty easily; but all of them very much can be treated, and yes, can look pretty nasty if you have it long enough. that episode just get the STD so... very wrong
I don’t think Brian hates Stewie for the most of the time he does Care about him it just the Later season like to make Brian a jerk to Stewie just for those Episodes.
Cailfornia just made it that you won't get prosecuted for knowly spreading std's. Also, I have been in the military. If you get into a fight with a civilian as the service member, you are at fault even if you didn't start the fight. Often times service members get fucked over when they get into fights. I will say there are a lot of dickheads in the military(cause 90% of them are from Texas, Cailfornia, and Arizona,) and a lot of other states mostly Ohio, Indiana, and Illinois. But there are a lot of toxic people in the military, but a lot of them get their comeuppance through the military because if they act like that off base, they likely act worst on base and get in trouble. Also, not every service member gets guns. Chaplins are not allowed to use guns their are for moral, spiritual, and mental support. There is a reason the Chaplin for Marines is navy cause every marine is a rifleman. Idk looking back on that black horseman ep I don't think it handles the idea of dickhead vets very well. Idk. I've just never met anybody like that. But I have never met for the over a million that are currently in the military.
Brian now is just Quagmire without the humour. I think what could balance his character would be: 1-Actually good actions despite selfish intentions 2- struggling to define his humanity despite his dog instincts
Hope ya hangover was not super bad no pun intended, an that you feel better or did fairky quickly, iirc it shortly before tossing ones cookies is a precursor to crashing asleep etc or else thats only if ya either eat then drink like 3 quarts or about a gallon of non hard liqoir type beverage oh plus with the fizz that occurrs in alcohol also so regardless if ya one a empty stomach etc.. thats no fun tbh..so yeah rip. Oh an make sure to not let Mama Gattina nor Kat have some if it has anything to do with cintact from grapes or raisns... for tifo it is a cause of kidney failure or can to cats to eat grapes or even grape juice..
ABOUT the 🤬bleeping and bleeding herpies germ 🦠disease 🦠tv 📺episode ! Brian is really a bad 🤬bleeping and bleeding 🩸bad freind even before stewies heal turn?
I think it’s safe to say that Brian would have no redeeming qualities without his companionship with Stewie.
GREAT KITTY MONK FAMILY GUY DOSE BRIAN GRIFFIN HATE STEWIE GRIFFIN VIDEO ESSAY, 😇😇😇😇😈😈😈☠️😈😈😈
And even then, he is a shit friend to Stewie. He cannot stop being selfish even for his actual best friend. He doesn't even acknowledge him and calls Peter his best friend. Brian straight up sucks.
Brian has been getting a raw deal as the show went on. I want Season 1 Brian back!!!!!
BAD DOG!
“We’re one…independence means we die” actually made me stop what I was doing and start laughing. Underrated family guy joke
Very underrated it always gets a laugh out of me 😂
He hates that Stewie could be everything he wants to be. Brian in the newer seasons definitely comes off as someone who's unhappy with their life, so he doesn't want the few people he has as friends to get ahead in theirs.
Stewie’s also a baby so that mean he has a a lot whole life ahead of him and more opportunities while Brian wasted a good chunk of his
So, he's evil?
I mean, with Penelope i won't say Brian was in the wrong but the rest pretty much
Stewie isn't innocent, in 150, Stewie is instigating most of the drama and constantly putting Brian down for basically no reason, then there was that time Stewie kidnapped all of Brian's siblings and put them in Saw traps so Brian would take him to see Hannah Montanna (it was in the DVD cut, not the broadcast version) and who could forget the time that Stewie BURNED BRIAN ALIVE. In all reality, Stewie doesn't see Brian as a true friend but property. Another toy that he can play with until it breaks.
@garuelx8627 Not true
The house WAS purchased thanks to the funds from the lawsuit, but Peter then sold the house, to move to that one mansion that they inherited, ultimately resulting in him buying back the Spooner St house at 2x its worth. You and everybody

The better question is Does Stewie have a better conscience than Brian now
Boppo.
Hard to say, Modern Brian probably, Season 1-5 Brian, probably not. Hate is probably not the right word here, although he probably should after everything Stewie has done to him.
About Brian mistreating Stewie, I can think of a few episodes where Stewie does the same same The biggest one is our idiot Brian, where Stewie basically got Brian back his smarts just because he liked to hang out with Brian and this was basically without Brian’s consent, even calls him out for this

No, Brian's just evil, Kitty. Same with the rest of the characters including Stewie even if you don't agree with me.
Well Stewie did beat up Brian after losing a bet, ruined his second chance at college by convincing him to cheat his way and made him ruined his chances with Caroline by not having sex with her.
No, it's Megatron.
31:50, also quagmire and his dad are vet's too that's something that never made sense to me😂
I genuinely think the reason brian hangs out with stewie is because stewie is the only one who wants to be around Brian.
Anyone else notice that it's kinda become and episode plot cliché to have Brian and Stewie believe that there friendship is falling apart, so they do something dumb to fix it, that was unnecessary cause they just had some miscommunication.
Does Brian hate Stewie? Yes and no. They have a close relationship but Brian brutally mistreats Stewie on many occasions without a shred of care.
Sure Brian tens to get annoyed to Stewie but he still loves the little guy
I think it's the other way round too, Stewie hates Brian
I mean, is basically like the whole Griffin family hates each other
I would like to see an episode where those to go to therapy together just for the fun of it
EXCELLENT KITTY MONK WORK. FAMILY GUY CONTENT
They did in Season 22.
4:02 wtf was that🤣🤣🤣 i have never in my 22 years watching this show have ever seen this cutaway 😭 i would remember this
It's not a myth. Dog's can't see it the same colors we can they can see just a few just not all it has something to do with the way their eyes reflect light differently than ours do

No Brian dont hate stewie, he hate the fact stewie is only friend since he got kick off peter group because of quagmire, and he so bad that no body want to be his friends beside stewie, but that dont mean it a good friendship, which of course it not
Maybe chris got it a year before stewie was born
Her parents own the house now
Brian getting his ass handed to him by his idol Bill Maher is pure gold.
Boppo!
Brian is dog rot just like how Quagmire is human rot

And it depends on two contexts ?
You okay there, Kitty? You sound really horse and tired.

I think the B plot is worse than the A plot, simply because of how it ends.
I would say slightly hate vs every one else
First Glenn Quagmire hates brain the most in every eps and then Brain hates stewie some eps sometimes Brain cares about Swetie if Brain forgives him any eps as a family with Peter, Lois, Meg, Chris and Jasper Brain's cousin

oh yeah I 🤬bleeping and bleeding 🩸

I'm from Minnesota!
Boppo
Eh. That's ALL cults. Not just so-called Christian ones.
Were you thinking about David Koresh?? I don't aprove of him or what he did…!!
Yikes 😳😬and lol 😆😆as well?!
It’s pronounced Bill Marr
Ha ha lol 😆😆!
As a service member this depiction is very cringe. No one atleast army side acts like this.
I'd still take Family Guy over Velma any way and any day of week
You should do Lisa Simpson the female Brian if you think about it and either Jazzy and the Pussy Cats or Smart and Smartest would be perfect
At her worst but she actually tries to help people in some episodes dispite having an ego.
@icecreamhero2375 check out the Disturbing dark side of Lisa Simpson
Short awnser no
And tv 📺episodes per tv 📺year lol 😂😆and yikes 😳😬x2?!
OK...I'm going to say this right now. Brian might be a jerk but stewie doesn't make it any easier. They're both ego maniacs who talk down to people.
I don't understand what the point was? This didn't answer the question of the title at all
I personally hate stewie.
ABOUT the 🤬bleeping and bleeding herpies germ 🦠disease 🦠tv 📺episode ! Brian is really a bad 🤬bleeping and bleeding 🩸bad freind even before stewies heal turn?
