The Pokedex about Bronzor being polished could work two ways, actually: #1: Bronzor actually does show "the truth" when it's polished, and it wants to make sure nobody sees the truth for fear of what could happen to that person. #2: People believe Bronzor can show "the truth", but it actually can't. But people continue to polish it anyways because of false superstitions. Bronzor could hate being polished because of what polishing entails. When you polish metal, you often sand it down to remove any small scratches that it's gotten. This would be like sanding off the first layer of your own skin to remove dead skin flakes. Bronzor probably hates being polished because it could be seen as a *_torture method_* for Steel types.
Thank you Mikey, the free content is much appreciated while I'm tearing down a building by myself, feels good to have 3 hours of Pokemon to just listen to
@Spiteful_Helicopter yeah I do a little bit of everything but there was a building falling apart in town and I got the contract to break it down, separate and clean the wood because it's super old and they want to keep the material and use it somewhere else. I love it
Just in case mikey isnt already aware, the crocodile + bird thing in skeledirge is probably a reference to a real life symbiotic relationship of a bird cleaning a crocodile's teeth for food and the crocodiles also letting them live
Looking back on those sir'fetch'd entries, maybe it's leek is still alive and growing? Maybe, as it gets stronger, a bit of the energy it gains goes to the leek and it grows. In order to keep it in fighting shape, they eat it back down to manageable sizes. A leek that has grown and withered is one that has gained too much energy from fighting, showing that the pokemon is an amazing warrior that has won many battles. Too many to keep it's weapon in proper form like a good knight should, so they simply retire happily because of the legend they have become

Gastrodon's Hisui pokedex entry could just be an example of the limitations of human observation. Species of sea slugs that feed on plankton will eat sand where lots of plankton reside, then their body filters the plankton out and ejects the sand back out. Laventon might be seeing this happening, and since he can't see plankton, assume that Gastrodon is eating the sand for the sand, rather than all the tasty little things living in it
59:07 I actually think they’re implying these ARE the legendary birds, and the Kantonian ones are the variants. They’re talking about how their traits resemble certain parts of their name.

Can I just point out the fact that Archeops's Galarian entry implicitly states that it needs about an hour (considering the buildup of speed) to finally lift off?
51:15 I think it's a reference to how often Kabuto molts it shell, if it does so, every three days, You'd see a lot of the shells around, but not the actual pokemon. This happens a lot with horseshoe crabs irl
When I started watching this, It reminded me that… you and 4 other content creators were the ones who inspired me to make videos too! MandJTV, thanks for my love of Pokémon.
Joseon Dynasty of Korea from 1392 to 1865. One example of the contents is when King Taejong fell from a horse and immediately told those around him not to let a recorder know about it. Both his fall, and the subsequent command were recorded.
I have a feeling Golurk was shooting Hyper Beams since 1. The anime shows it's the generic energy blast, and 2. It would relate to how you have to reload cannons, ballistas, and catapult after every shot, and Golurk would have to recharge after every blast. Just an interesting coincidence.

33:04 i find this so cool becaude it points to how dumsparce evolved its wings away due to its more cave focused housing situation in modern times.
Its interesting to think of dunsparce once not having been a troglodyte and instead being a hunter of the forests or something else
2:45:49 this might mean that ariados doesn't nest in common places to each other, unlike how birds like to nest in trees or rabbits burrow underground. ariados doesn't have a specific nesting place it prefers, it will nest whererver fits best
"The karate chops of a Sawk that's trained itself to the limit can cleave the ocean itself" Okay, karate Moses
