Fun Facts & History: Released in 2010, “Tangled” has been one of those hit Disney films that’s been kind of swept under the rug considering Disney at the time of its release has been putting hit film after hit film after hit film with movies such as Wreck-It Ralph in 2012, Frozen in 2013, Big Hero 6 in 2014, and Zootopia in 2016 and we only seen 2 of those movies come make it to the Disney Theme Parks! While fans have been fantasizing of when a Tangled ride may show up at a Disney Park they would unfortunately have to wait almost 15 years to get it and let’s just say it was worth the wait as Rapunzel’s Lantern Festival at Tokyo’s DisneySea Park in the new for 2024 Fantasy Springs land was a smashing success and would soon take the internet and Disney Fanatics alike by storm praising the ride for its amazing 3D sets and praying that a clone or some type of reimagined version of the ride makes its way over to one of the Disney Theme Parks here in the U.S. This new attraction is an impressive boat style flume dark-ride that takes guests past some breathtaking and jaw-dropping physical 3D sets, beautifully orchestrated music, and immersive storytelling to bring this film and its iconic characters to life! While the ride is definitely on the shorter side with a duration of only 8 minutes as it is a boat style flume ride like its it’s a small world counterpart with no drops unlike Pirates of the Caribbean it definitely falls short in length of other attractions around the resort; but where it lacks in duration, it is nothing short of a beautiful experience retelling the story of Rapunzel adventuring with Flynn Rider a.k.a. Eugene to take her to see the floating lanterns that she has seen every night in her tower only appearing on the day of her birth! While a Tangled ride seemed to be an inevitable ambitious plan for Imagineers to take, fans were starting to worry about ever getting to see a Tangled ride as it was one of the highest grossing films of the year racking in $592.5 Million USD with a budget of only $260 Million USD so saying the film over performed was an understatement and the movie even won best motion picture of the year award along with Rapunzel Voice Actress (Mandy Moore) & Flynn Rider/ Eugene Fitzherbert Voice Actor (Zachary Levi) both nominated for an Oscar’s Award!

It's in a very weird key compared to the original song but the singers sound identical.

the voices are not synced with music. the instrumental is in D major, the voices are in C major and Eb major. I noticed it bc i have perfect pitch
