    Looks like such a great trip. So Cat lost the race to get the fish to the boat first but she definitely won the size prize 🏆

    Steve, your girlfriend is a real gamer! Landing that beast with minimal assistance 😊. Must have been a jock of some sort while learning to fish😊

      Thank you! 💪🏽 I’ve been fishing since I was a little girl, but Steve definitely taught me how to fight the big ones! And yeah, definitely a jock too haha

    “I was using a 420gr jig” is that code for something?
    Asking for a friend of course.

    • @FishTheLegend
      @FishTheLegend  Год назад +1

      I’m referring to how heavy the jig was that I was using when I got bit. Depending on conditions, you’ll want to use a jig between 300 and 500 grams.
      If it’s choppy or rougher weather or stronger current, you’ll need to use a heavier jig to get down into the zone where the fish are.

    13:26 Are you in high or low gear here?

    • @FishTheLegend
      @FishTheLegend  Год назад

      Looks like low gear. I switched in and out multiple times on this fight.
