I had the exact same issue. About 2 years ago I did the exact same procedure. Disassembled the pump and verified everything was clean and nothing broken. I actually tested the pump afterwards and monitored the amp draw before re-installing. Also checked it for vacuum. Everything working as it should. Upon re-installation had the same problem as before. Fuse blowing. I know the pump works as locks work until fuse blows. Just a heads up for others as it's not always the pump. But thank you anyways for at least showing what your situation turned out to be.
In my case the pump electrical motor was stuck because of dirt inside, I cleaned it and after never had problems! And I guess it happened because I also had a vacuum leak on the trunk locker and it was working more than usually because it was loosing pressure, and after some time ecu detects that is working more than normaly should and locking up the pump, you can use an obd 2 delete the fault code and again will work for a little and lock it again! After I fixed the locker never had any problems with opening the roof!
This is ideal. I just got my pump working after watching this. Now I appear to have a leak behind the dash glove compartment 'I hear a hiss' from there. I will take out what I can & see if it's just a Brocken pipe maybe.
I have looked all over on the left side of the junk but i could not see any that has a pump hose. I am wondering if it is on the right side of the junk. Thank you very much sir. 2007 Mercedes s550
Hi, i have 2007 Mercedes S550. I would like to ask you the location of the PSE Central Locking pump vacuum. Is it on the right or left side o the trunk. Thank you so much.
Thank you for your time with helpful information you put on RUclips. I just bought a 2006 M-Benz SL 500 with 89,000 miles. The trunk warning ⚠️ 🚨 are on ! The Doors & Trunk could not be opened by the car remote. The light flashes, the door unlock & lock inside at the top center console doesn't work just like what you show on your RUclips. I thought I recognize the beautiful Mt. Rainier. Thank you
Fuses are color-coded - once you know which values are which color, you don't need to read them. Also, you in no way fixed the pump. Yes, you unstuck it, but you didn't diagnose why.

@@valeriumoscalu7580 yes, but what was the cause of the stuck? Where the bolts to tight or something else...?
@@mikebroflovsky3319 It was probably one of the vanes being jammed.
Sounds Romanian
Correct!)

Because there was a lot of dirt and this is why it was stuck! I just cleaned and after all was good!
About color I know, but not everyone is so informed like you this is why I read it for others to know!
