Super video! We walked exactly the same route - having failed to identify the public footpath across the cow fields from the bridge. We actually preferred the walk up to Ladies Hole Point. Think we had a similarly lovely sunny day too. Can’t wait for your next video!
Thank you Jenny! 😁 I'm glad to hear that you found the coastal route, I think that the one across the fields has be lost a little bit. It is a beautiful and fascinating walk isn't it? 😄 My next video will be out in a week or so, not long until you'll be seeing me tackle the cliffs you warned me about! Haha
Thanks! 😄 Ah yes, going under the big bridge is brilliant! You can walk under it on both sides of the Swale. You can even walk under Kingsferry Bridge, but only if the tide is low enough, at high tide it would not be passable. It was very handy when we completed our walk around Sheppey in the Harty to Elmley to the Sheppey Crossing video, had we not been able to go under the Kingsferry Bridge it would have been a bit of a detour to get around.
Excellent video, thanks very much for filming and posting. Great to see some of my old stamping ground after what is many years away. Really looking forward to your next instalment and maybe seeing Sheerness and Minster-on-Sea. Wonderful stuff!
Thanks for watching! 😄 This was a very interesting stretch of coast, one of my favourites of Kent so far Next time is my walk from Queenborough, through Sheerness, to Minster-on-Sea, so you'll be seeing those places soon 🙂
Sheppey is really beautiful. Most people drive straight to Sheerness, see all the old industry, and think that represents ALL of Sheppey. But...it is only a tiny part of the island. There is so much history and beauty on Sheppey if you just look for it.
Really enjoyed this vlog, will be v useful next time I’m out in my boots! I think we went wrong trying to cross the marsh from Queenborough to the bridge, lots of blocks on the path, rather than keeping to the water. Keep up the splendid work!
Glad you enjoyed the video 😄 Ah yes, the public right of way that goes across the marsh is a bit odd, they should probably just make the main path the one along the shore Good luck for when you go to do this walk! 🙂
So pleased to see the Crossing looming large in all three episodes of ITV1's psychological thriller "Too Close" this week - in very dramatic fashion!
Very enjoyable video again , thanks.

Great video, thank you. I've lived on Sheppey for nearly six years and didn't realise you could walk under the bridge.
Thanks! 😄

@@SiddersS Thank you for your knowledge. I plan to walk down there one day!

I couldn't agree more, the island is so underrated!
Walking around the coast of Sheppey I have seen so many interesting places I never knew about! 😄
