Pete, I absolutely love to see how many different sports turfs are done correctly. Loved the putting green, and now the baseball diamond! This is great content!
Pete you are an inspiration... Me and you have very similar stories... I just haven't been as blessed as you have been yet but it's coming I have Faith... And we Both have a passion for God and Grass is Even better... I'm Just getting started in this lawncare business here in NC but yoir videos are super helpful... keep it up 🙏🙏🙏
I do this for a living Pete and u are dead on about the heat! Either I'm getting older or it really is hotter this year but it seems the heat has whooped me most days. Here in Alabama It is scorching! Love u Pete great work!
As a fastpitch softball umpire, I see so many beautiful facilities where the dirt/grass transition of the field is not properly edged, if even edged at all! Attention to detail is what separates good facilities from great facilities! Nice work!!!
Man, Pete that is one slick machine! I’m always impressed by the Ventrac. I’ve seen you use the ABI before, but I didn’t know how versatile that machine is too. Can’t wait to see the finished field!
Hi I do the same thing pretty much with a sod cutting machine and a small Kabora. My question is one how long did that take. And two I noticed there's no base paths.. Would I be able to use that machine to cut 4' wide base paths for little league
Hey Pete been watching you for years just never commented before. I’m about to do a tall fescue renovation on my uncles yard he owns a plant nursery in Dallas nc. Any suggestions on what seed to use and any other tips for lawn renovation
Hey Pete, it would be a good idea to keep your arms and neck covered in the Sunlight, no need to encourage sunspots, wrinkles, and other skin problems I dare not say. Care about you brother, keep those earplugs in too, no one enjoys yelling at a old man, I work out there too and use those sleeves that cover the arms separate from a short sleeve shirt, I pour water on them and they actually keep you cool as they evaporate. I also use a hard hat neck cover with my ball hat, it keeps the neck and ears covered. I also wear hiking pants instead of blue jeans during the summer. Jeans are hot bro, I have black hiking pants that are near as hot as blue jeans. Hope to see you around for years to come brother, take care of yourself!
This is next level content Pete. Baseball just takes turfgrass management to another dimension while combining two joys. Living the dream! Are you doing anything with the 1st and 3rd base paths?
Hey Pete I was just curious you always post videos of yourself working is there a reason why you don’t post your employees and projects that you’re doing for your business
People may snub turf guys, the way our society is now. But last week I was like, wait a minute...if this guy screws up, leaves a low spot or something...some kid misses a huge play and jams up an ankle and ruins his future and scholarships....that's a really big deal. It may seem like just a field, but it carries serious weight for the kid that needs it flawless to show his potential. No one thinks about that I bet.
I own a lawn care company that manages many properties. I need this equipment to be efficient. This isn’t a “diy” video. It’s a full blown commercial lawn care company video showing how to fix the lips on a baseball field. I doubt a “diy’er” would ever do this.
Needs to be a more efficent way of removing the sod once it's cut. Having to constantly back the machine back and forth is a poor design and poor use of time.
I’ll disagree with you on that 100%. Not sure how it looks in the video but it’s lightning fast in real life. I did the entire field in about 25 minutes. That’s about as efficient as it gets in my opinion. My other option I have is a shovel 😂🤣😂

Seems like u have way to many expensive machines for the common diyer

"Lips" on edges of youth & HS baseball infidels are a result of Never being shown how to properly drag the infield and base paths.
😳
Did you have on your Bermuda boots? 😂
I sure do!
