I still remember how Destiny blew my mind the first time I played it. Destiny 2 still hasn't impressed me more than the original. Excellent work compiling this together.
You clearly put a lot of effort into making sure all relevant lines were included and for that I commend you immensely. I'm a fan of Destiny 2 on pc and never got to play the original so this has helped me a lot.
Ahh where it all started. For me this was where my real love for shooters began. Before Destiny I had played things like GTA San Andreas and GTA V, and mostly either space themed stuff or racing games, but Destiny was the first proper FPS style game I played. I remember how bad I was the first time I played through the story from the beginning, I got killed a few times on that first opening mission. I was really not good at all, when I got to the tower for the first time around, I would always try inviting higher level players to do the story missions with me. Then I remember how proud I felt when I restarted the game with my second character, and destroyed everything with more confidence and knowledge of how to use my abilities and weapons. I understood the game and how it felt a lot better. I am now on PC playing Destiny 2 but I am seriously considering buying an Xbox One soon, just so I can play Destiny 1 again. Id restart my characters too.
Same thing on my end buddy of mine wanted me to play this game in 2014 but I didn't care for sci-fi games back then I was playing gta 5 cod modern warfare series black ops series and uncharted series when I got my xbox one I decided to play this and I got hooked real quick my first guardian was a hunter now I'm on destiny 2 witch queen with a titan
I was a huge fan of destiny. I played it from year one all the way to rise of iron religiously. I had a blast with the destiny 2 beta. I'm re watching all of the cutscenes and what not cause I'm anxious for 2 to drop already lol. Thanks for uploading this. I'm sure it took a tremendous amount of work to complete 👌👌👌👌

My Pre-DLC Destiny 1 experience went like this: -VoG Raid in hopes for getting the Vex Mythoclast and All White shader. -Going to the Cosmodrome and taking a chest route to farm for ship blueprints so you could look cool while everyone else had the starter ship -Extremely hard Nightfalls -Sparrow glitches into pre-DLC territory -collecting dead ghosts for no reason -Completing bounties for exotic quests -getting that extremely rare chance of getting legendary world drops, just for them to be a blue or materials -loot cave -dancing on your sparrow -showing off raid gear and being asked how you got it Original Destiny was a blast ;) here's to foresaken!
There´s something about Destiny´s timeline I never understood. If the colapse happened CENTURIES after the start of the Golden Age, why the hell all those cars at the entrance of the Cosmodrome look like old conventional 21th century cars?! I mean, shouldn't they look like futuristic cars somehow?
Looking back at all of these honestly makes me want to cry. Destiny 1 had a rough start but it was such a beautiful game, it's a shame destiny 2 isn't anything like it.
Now this is what I want people to react to! because all these other cutscene movies have no in between footage of what happens where this one has the footage and dialogue that tells the stories of what happens between the cutscenes. Good Job!

Never played D1 ( no intrest in paying for psn and xbox live when pc is free). Anyway i've been watching lore videos and it brought me here. 1st time seeing D1 story now I understand D2 in a whole new light and realized how rich & valuable the destiny story is. Too bad alot of lore is not implemented in the the story/DLC. I am a titan always loved throwing down shield, raining crap tons of bullets, and having multiple grenades. Thanks to these videos I now have a intrest to replay the campaign and lv up my warlock

at 17:28 there was a (kind of) secret chest on the roof of that little room which was to the left of the Wizard. It sometimes had a rocket launcher or shotgun in there, but at that early stage of the game I remember it being a big help

Give Destiny 2 a chance too, with or without the DLC, New Light players have tons of content to explore, 5 campaigns if you have DLC.
