Axl does have a 5 Octave vocal range, as a lot of other singers, and yeah this song is hard to sing because of Axl's nuances and interpretation (amazing) but he doesnt uses all of his range in here lol

Imo this is probably their best song. The full version is like 8 minutes long and the video is also pretty epic. At the end when Axl starts “well I jumped into the River” is perfection. It’s too bad he lost his voice like he did. He wasted a lot of time being an asshole when he could have been pumping out music. The world missed out.

Thank you for singing this song! It hit me hard in ways I didn't expect. This is one of my all-time favorite songs and criminally underrated IMO. Over the years I've listened to the album version hundreds of times, but somehow your rendition took me right back to high school when I listened to this album to help get over my first love breaking up with me. I was able to feel my own heartbreak in your emotional delivery, as if you were singing to her on my behalf. Such excellent singing, and you have excellent taste in music too if I may say so!

I'm always looking for a half way decent version of a GnR cover. Her voice is great, but she could never perform (on stage) like Axl in the 90's. However, what she did at 2:12 knocked me out of my chair! I almost wish Axl had written it THAT way instead. That was so sick. Bravo Alyona! Bravo!!!
