@Nathan Amarel I have been researching all this while for a digital asset investment and I found bitcoin to be the most profiting of them all , I’m definitely bouncing on the opportunity, thank you so much.
I understand the fact that tomorrow isn't promised to anyone, but investing today is a hard thing to do because i have no idea of how and where to invest in these?
@@kruegerali3530 I totally understand , I was able to grasp enough knowledge and got profits through successful investing with Daniel Christopher Downes . I would recommend him to anyone who is confused or has zero knowledge on what and how to invest.
i used to feel poor because i didn't have a cleaning lady and was super stressed out over a messy untidy home. now i feel totally rich because i own less things and clean my own home!
Best content ever! Mindset is key. Would have loved this years ago, but never ever too late! Being grateful changes so much perspective on things. Your videos are gold! 😌💕
That was lovely. It isn't just TV shows and films. Sometimes even other individuals appearance in a workplace or school they might lead you to buy something because now "you like it"... Been a minimalist since I was 18. It feels amazing. Stuff doesn't buy you contentment. It only buys those few minutes of excitement before unpacking the thing. Five minutes after, we think about our next "need". Thanks for sharing, Augustine.
Exactly ! Just like children that “cant live without that new toy” ! They get it, play with it for 1 day and then they want another one…and the cycle continues into adulthood !
I like to listen to your wise words very much. I'm 65 years meanwhile and have a bigger view now when it comes to life. Sometimes I ask myself where human being will go? It gives me hope that there are young people like you who are so mindful. To accept that everything what comes into your life is for your own good, brings so much peace and serenity.
I recommend not comparing your journey to somebody elses. If you improve 1% each day that accumulates and then, six months after that, you look back and you'll have a completely different life.
Thank you for these videos Austin. I've thought about some of these things and to see someone finally post about it makes me so happy. I really enjoy this content.
I forget about my mindset sometimes and it needs a little tweaking. Especially the contentment. Then I get upset at myself for feeling selfish or ungrateful. Mental health is a big part of it, so with my illness, it's hard. Thanks to you, El Agustine, for reminding us what it's about!! ❤️
my mom used to tell me to spend my time and money preparing for retirement rather than clothes and eating out. this was so wise cuz I do not have any of the clothes i had spent my hard earned money on 40-30 years ago.
Electricity and warm homes are wonderful. My husband repairs and replaces our well, or parts of it, every other year. My heart stops for half a second if the pump doesn't kick in soon enough. Trust me, I appreciate my well which brings in clean water. I love my little house. I love that it's almost paid off. It's a glorious feeling. Debt makes me feel poor.
Interesting video! It's true that often times, it's not just about earning more but managing our spending habits and being mindful of where our money is going. Finding a balance between saving and spending is key to avoiding the feeling of being broke. Thanks for sharing your insights.
Thank you Agustin for another very interesting video. Reason #4 resonates so much with me - due to long habit I tend to think wants are needs which impacts my journey to financial independence. But I'm learning to say no to unnecessary things and choose to live and spend intentionally. Looking forward to the next video 📷
Thank you "Thank you life you have been good to me in so many different ways"is what I tell myself every day. I live in a country where we naturally live a minimalist life. It's crazy how the developed countries are being manipulated to believe that materialism can make us happy.
Yes, that's why traveling is important to help shape your perspective and outlook in life. You see the world differently and no longer take things for granted. Contentment
Wise words, Augustino! I am healthy enough to travel and to explore things, and with every experience i get richer, and i am thankfull for everyone of it! And you know what, after so many travels I had in my life, i mostly remember the good moments, the ones where i had nice contact with people, so i feel lucky.
Awesome video Austin ! I have everything I need, nothing fancy, and I’m content, but still searching for that one thing that really makes me happy. You’ve helped me to avoid spending money on my wants, and stick to my needs, and that right there, makes me a little happier. Thanks so much ! 💜
Since being frugal and downsizing being minimal freed up 30 hrs less a week at work. Manage on 1 salary as widow and manage to save . Don’t own home rent beach apartment so everyday a holiday and lifestyle volontary fasting cheap and healthy minimalizes effect of inflation use every trick in book save energy and use moped for few dollars week Massive time with family now and quietly quitting now no more salaried power positions do 70 hrs get paid 40. Happy downshift position and status get paid for hrs I do. Whole house clothing etc second hand but eclectic and constant compliments on my style
My city had mostly 1,000 Sq feet bungalow houses since the 1940s. About 10 years ago, a group of investors started buying these bungalows, bulldozing them down and replacing them with million dollar houses. Really sad to watch how this once affordable city is drastically changing.
Most helpful and enlightening. I sure know what you mean because I'm the one with a Mercedes and a gold Rolex - You speak the truth. I recently uncovered that it was my "greed" that was getting in the way of me feeling truly grateful. Many thanks.......all the way from London !
Thank you so much! These have been a Godsend! Lightbulbs: #3- idolizing can also lead to poor self esteem along with feeling poor (eg comparisons)~ and those people you do idolize, perhaps consider what their trade-offs are in order to have that kind of life. Is that trade off something that I'm willing to make? Does it line with my values and what I desire for my life? #5/6 when you trade off, you can actually discover the things that have more value that perhaps have been hidden among all the clutter
I agree with general sentiment, but when you live paycheck to paycheck life is so stressfull that is difficult to see the bright side of life, even if you compare your life to someone living for example in mozambique.
Amen! I don’t know where people got so mixed up, conflating trivial things - like brands - with happiness. Two years ago I got rid of almost everything, quit buying stupid shit, moved into 98-square feet; I’ve never felt happier…and it’s not because of all the money I’m saving.
Wow! Such a great video! I completely agree. I know that I have enough and I am so grateful for clean water, sanitation and healthcare. Plus I have time to enjoy doing things I love like running, hiking and spending time with friends and family. Thanks Austin! Hope your dad liked this video (haha)! ❤❤❤❤
I love this video. I was set on returning early but I don't think this is an answer for me. I took two weeks in between jobs and I was bored lol, I need some work I think at least for a while haha.
Thank you for creating this channel and helping all of us take a step back and analyze what we’re doing ! You’ve helped me sooo much and I’ve cut back on my spending tremendously as well as what I consume as a whole. I’m much more content and super thankful for the things I do have 😊😊
Most people who you think have money, which is based on the most superficial and materialistic qualities, are the most in debt. Period. On the other hand, that guy who drives that beater and wears kinda raggedy clothes? Yeah, he could have zero debt with a lot of savings. Imagine if we "idolized" the latter instead of what television and social media tells us to.
Hello! I enjoy your videos, and I wonder if I can make a suggestion. Could you relate each idea back to how you implemented it in your own life, or even how a friend or another person (like an author, entrepreneur, etc.) implemented it? The reason I say this is that people are better at remembering concepts through story, and more likely to change when they see other people changing. Just an idea, please keep making videos!
Augustine... hit the brakes! Sit down, take a few minutes to look around your home. Appreciate what you have. You'll get a clearer vision of your wants and needs.
Great message Augustine, and eloquently stated. But oh - the irony! An ad cut in. Right in the middle of your passionate explanation of needs vs wants, your words were abruptly cut off and a perky voice said “Did you know Hobby Lobby has hundreds of incredible things on sale every week?” I could not stop laughing.
The people of Flint would be thankful for clean water. I'm not trolling boys and girls, I have the good fortune to live in a "clean & green country" (at least that's how it's promoted). But I can't pass up an opportunity to remind people of the preventable plight of Flint. 😔
So much wisdom from a young mind… I grew up in the Philippines… I know how to live without hot water… every morning… I feel rich because can take a shower with warm water… Thank you Father God!!!
i love that i drive an oldie but goody car that is paid for. we also have a 3rd car that is an emergency car that is also paid for. i love that those vehicles don't have a car payment that i owe.
Contentment is the best way to feel happier with your life. I've learned to appreciate where I'm at in life and that I will just be content with where I'm at with it.
I agree there is a lot of want instead of need, but if you are not healthy there is a lot more need and because you are not healthy there is not the possibility to work more so there is no money to buy the really needed things. This way those not healthy people are quite poor.
Excellent video! I would like to point out that if everybody followed your path our consumer-based economy would probably collapse. AS the late comedian George Carlin says" The great American pastime is BUYING THINGS."
I am glad to say I have never woke up and said 'I wish I had a Tesla." More seriously though, I really am struggling with contentment. I have achieved more than I could ever have imagined in a very short time since I quit drinking, but there's still such a large part of me that sees everything I wish I had and everything everyone else has and still feels wanting.
Thanks for watching!

Your channel is pure gold. Most people are afraid to unplug from the trappings of society and our preconditioning.
Thanks, Mr E!

Electricity is arguably the most taken for granted resource of modern life and is very cheap when considering all of the useful functions it provides.
Interesting video! It's true that often times, it's not just about earning more but managing our spending habits and being mindful of where our money is going. Finding a balance between saving and spending is key to avoiding the feeling of being broke. Thanks for sharing your insights.
Thanks for another fantastic video, every morning I watch one of your videos to start my day,
Keep em coming Austin !!👍😊
For some reason I listen to your videos daily when getting ready for work like some sort of therapy/meditation
Thanks!!
You are so right, Austin! Thank you for the reminder.

This really hit home! Thank you 🙏
Thank you so much for such a thought-provoking video. My favourite one so far. ❤
It really is about mindset. I've travelled globally and it is eye opening. I feel blessed to live in America where one can live well with very little.

Very well said! Thank you Austin. This is one of my favorite videos you have posted!!
I really like how you list a point, expand on it, then restate the point again before you move on to the next point.
Great Points Austin. Your right, we can't have it all. Great perspective.
A very wise video, thank you.
Excellent! And sooo true!!! Proud of you for posting this!! Love from Denver
Great stuff to reflect on. Have a great day 🤩🤩
You as well!

I miss different environments for the videos. I remember the hiking trip and when your car broke down.
