Home is a fitting and sad name for this sad tune, they are just two children most likely scared and confused, sharing the vessel of their beloved childhood toy. Desperately looking for a way out They will never make it home...
Hey, there’s a good chance that Sophie will find some way to free her family by the end of the series. Unless Martin decides to rob us of a happy ending, in which case.... Uh oh.
This song is not only creepy, but absolutely beautiful. It’s nice but the classic vibe makes it feel so unnerving. This is fitting in every way for this series, especially the episode it’s played in! Martin Walls is an amazing creator.
Ok bunnyfarm was legit scary. Like the other ones I could handle watching again, but bunnyfarm is actually TERRIFYING. Great work, because you managed to terrify me more than I thought!
Lyrics: [Verse 1] When shadows fall and trees whisper day is ending My thoughts are ever wending home When crickets call, my heart is forever yearning Once more to be returning home [Verse 2] When the hills conceal the setting sun Stars begin unpeeping one by one Night covers all and though fortune may forsake me Sweet dreams will never take me home
this is the most comforting yet unnerving song ive ever listened to. it sounds like something that would play on a record player in my grandparents empty house.
It amazes me that Felix was able to keep a facade for years after the accident because of just how much trauma he had to endure at once. Something must have changed in a hurry because even he himself admitted that he was screwed after what he did. I can't wait to see what waits in the next Walten Files.
"I can’t pick the kids up tonight. Sorry, Jack." "Oh, it's alright Felix, I'll get someone else. Have a good night." Bon's Burgers went on to become one of the most successful restaurant franchises in US history. Spurring several video games, cartoons, and toys based on the beloved and friendly mascot characters.
They also partnered with a owner of a hotel in Colorado called The Overlook for an expansion in the west in a nearby ski town, which draws many a customer during the winter, specifically around Christmas and New Years.
This song's lyric are EXTREMELY important to knowing the intentions of Rocket the Rabbit. You may think he'd be tracking Felix down in vengeance, or trying to kill someone, but all he wants is to go home. As implied by the final lines of the song, "Sweet dreams will never take me home", Rocket can't home just yet.
TWF introduced me to this kind of 1930s music through this song, and I love it, this song in particular that was performed by Henry Hall and the Gleneagles Hotel Band probably being my favourite of all time.

He inched behind it, and realized that the traffic was finally faltering. At the stop light, he found this to be an opportunity to check the time, realizing he hadn’t the whole time he was in traffic. He was too stuck in thought, too worried about what would happen once he got to the Walten’s abode. He’d only really had a vague idea of what time it could have been. When he checked the watch, he’d only glanced. And by it, he’d read that it was…past twelve. Internally, he panicked. A surge of dread fell upon him like a weighted blanket. He couldn’t tell if that panic was shown externally, but judging by Molly’s soft poke on his shoulder, it was certain it was showing well if the young 9-year-old was able to tell he was troubled. He wasn’t great at hiding his troublesome ways. Otherwise, it wasn’t easy to tell what the man was thinking. Then again, he was troubled often. Not to mention his resting face itself looked merely nervous. It was normal for the timid and fidgety man. Taken out of his trance by Molly’s small and innocent voice of bliss, he turned his head to her as he kept his eyes on the road, showing his attentiveness to her words. “Uncle Felix ? Are you alright ?,” She asked, her big eyes shining, reflecting off of the dim light of the streetlights. Oh. He didn’t mean to worry her, too. Damn you, Felix. Always worrying people. “Oh, right. Yeah, I’m alright Molly, don’t worry. It’s just a little late is all,” He flashed her a smile before quickly averting his eyes to the road. It wasn’t a lie, not exactly. It was very late and he was worried about that, but it was what would come from it as well. After the traffic, it wasn’t too long before they got to Brighton 27, the humble two story yellow abode of the Walten household. He hastily pulled into the driveway, fumbling with the keys to the Walten home in his pocket that was given to him by Jack, telling him to keep it in case he wanted to visit. He finally got a good enough grip to pull them out, and turned to the two in the back. They were sleeping. Figures, they were probably tired. Poor things. Damn traffic, how did it last so long ? He got out of the driver’s seat, hastily moving to the backseats where the two lie. He carefully shook them awake. “Hey you two, we’re home,” He smiled. Their eyes lit up despite them being fatigued from the disturbance of their sleep. They scampered out of their seats, struggling to gain sense of reality. Felix made sure to stay close by them as they walked to the front steps of their home with the irrational thought that they might fall asleep mid-step. They looked extremely tired. He fumbled with the keys as he shoved them into the keyhole, eager to get the two home so they were safe. He opened the door and was instantly met with a Rosemary Walten, who had an unimaginable expression that twisted in that of pure distress and fear. “Felix..,” She said, sounding relieved, but he knew for a fact he would feel her wrath in just a few seconds. After hugging them and frantically checking them over, she ushered the two behind her and upstairs to their rooms. It took no genius to note that Sophie was sent to bed without being told it. It was very late. Rosemary hastily stepped towards Felix, it felt extremely condescending. “Felix, where the hell have you been ? What took so damn long ? We’ve been worried sick. What the hell did you do ?,” She roared, anger edging her tone. It made Felix flinch. “I’m sorry, there was a lot of traffic today. I had no idea where it came from and I did not think it would take that long,” He explained, trying to steer the fear in his tone but failing miserably, somehow only making it strain worse. He cringed at how helpless he sounded. She breathed, seemingly releasing her anger about something… Like as if she thought he wasn’t in a stable condition. Or maybe that was a stretch. Guilt. “Oh.. is that so ?,” She said, the anger no longer in her tone as she returned to the couch. It wasn’t exactly a question, it was merely that of a remark to his explanation. She seemed much more relaxed, and he was glad. He didn’t want his friend to worry. Speaking of friend, where was Jack ? “Hey, uhh, where’s Jack by the way ?,” He asked, rubbing the back of his neck awkwardly. He wasn’t one to start any conversation. “Oh…right. He went out to look for Edd and Molly..he called you a lot,” She answered, her eyes widening. She knew he would be angry. “…oh,” Felix said, grimacing. He realized Jack was going to be very upset when he got back. Jack was no stranger to getting angry. “It’s alright, he’ll understand. It’s a good thing it was..only traffic,” She said, reassuring him, but her tone wavered in those last few words. Felix didn’t answer her. He was sure she thought the worst. He knew Jack thought the worst. Jack was not only one to be an angry man, but he was also one to be an over-thinker. He knew that of him well. He knew more of him than anyone with an exception of possibly Rosemary. They both heard the sound of an engine roaring through the street, and the headlights of a car shone through the window as it pulled into the driveway. Felix could feel his heart drop. Jack. Jack was absolutely horrifying when he was angry. Or, he was in Felix’s eyes. And being the culprit of that anger, he knew he was in for a treat. His explanation would hopefully cover for it. Rose was a lot less angry than Jack. She was accepting, caring, more motherly than anyone he’d ever known. She was a great mother. However, when she did get angry, it was scary. Because it was rare. She would, for the most part, merely get annoyed and would let you know as much. So when she yelled at him mere moments before Felix felt as if he were going to sob. “Stay put, it’ll be alright,” She assured him, hastily going towards the door. The door swung open, catching the woman in surprise as she stepped back. Felix’s eyes laid on the fearful and dreadful eyes of Jack Walten. “Felix,” He breathed, his brows furrowing as previous distressed expression twisted into violent anger. It was the first time Felix truly dreaded seeing his friend. “What the hell is wrong with you,” He yelled, stepping over to tower over Felix, who stood not too far behind Rosemary at the door. It was the first time Felix had heard him yell. When he was angry he was always able to keep that stable, low tone despite his anger issues. It was horrible. Absolutely horrifying. “Jack, stop. He didn’t do anything, it was traffic,” Rose explained when he clearly was unable to speak. But it was clear she was scared too. “So..Edd and Molly are okay ?,” Jack asked, albeit knowing the answer. “Yes, they’re fine,” She assured. “Thank god..,” Jack breathed out in relief, closing his eyes. He opened his eyes to look back at Felix. His expression was unreadable. Felix could tell his own was pure fear. He couldn’t hide it, not even if he tried. Jack then pulled him into a hug. It was the least Felix expected, and he stood in shock as the taller man squeezed his arms around his torso. “Sorry,” He said quietly. Felix could tell the hug was to calm him, as he was clearly horrified. Felix let go of a breath he didn’t know he was holding. It was enough to come back to his senses, to notice his face was wet with tears. Felix returned it after a few seconds and gripped the back of his friend’s shirt in his fists like a lifeline as he sobbed. He wasn’t exactly sad either. He felt Rosemary join in with warmth. He was glad nobody was worried any longer. He was glad he hadn’t messed things up. He was going to turn his life around. Even if he couldn’t do it by himself, he had people around him now that could help him. People that knew him. His family. He was accepted into this family, and that in itself was a reason to live, a reason to smile. A reason to trust, and he knew they felt the same. Atleast, that’s what could have happened. What could have happened if things were different. The good ending.
I can't even imagine getting divorced and still not being able to say no to your best friend's request out of the kindess in your heart, drinking away your sorrows, then crashing and killing your niece and nephew and having to bury them yourself. Felix's entire life fell apart all in the span of one day. Is he right for what he did? No. But in the real world no one is just good or bad.
misheard lyrics when shadows fall i sleep wishful day is ending my thoughts forever wending hole when crickets fall my heart is forever yourning once for to be repourning home when the hills come seal the setting sun starts begin unpeeping one by one might come of all tho fortune may forsake me sweet dreams will never bake me home
What’s the original song? Update: Nevermind I found it. It’s legit called “Home” and it’s on the soundtrack from the movie “The Shining” which shocks me cause I don’t remember that song being on there.
I need one hour version of this. The mixture of emotions that it gives me is some what comforting yet horrific. The song feels like comforting slow dance with your lover in the living room, but a murder about to find their new victim at the same time. Reminds me of how walten files is, seems like a normal and kind being but has a horrible underbelly full of terror and screams.
I could imagine that you are either edd or molly, inside the car as this music plays on the radio. And as the car crashes, the radio stills plays while you slowly pass away.
Neutral ending: Felix calls the ambulance in time, ending with edd and Molly passing away in the hospital. jack understands about edd and Molly, being devastated, but finds it in him to forgive his best friend because he tried to save them
Bunny farm was so sad, but also oddly enough kind of unsettling? I know the series is supposed to be disturbing but I guess it might’ve been cause of how strong my emotions felt while watching the episode.
This almost reminds me of looking back on Distant Memories from so long ago could even be months of a happy moment but then it becomes unnerving from when you start to remember what happened after those happy moments how quickly went downhill and changed in such a dramatic way
Good ending: You made it home and edd and Molly are safe Bad ending: Oh no! You killed them Nuetrul ending: You never picked them up Secret ending: Oh no! All of them died (Felix, Edd, Molly) True ending: Bon's opened and never shut down ??? Ending: Jack and felix never became friends K-9 ending: The facilty would become the Bunny smiles HQ All in one ending: Nothing ever happend
Such a pretty and comforting song. I love old vintage music and I thank The Walten Files for introducing me to more!!! I can’t recall when this song played though. What episode is it from?
“My girls, sir, they didn’t care for the Overlook at first. One of them actually stole a packet of matches and tried to burn it down, but I… corrected them, sir. And when my wife tried to prevent me from doing my duty, I… corrected her.”
"Felix, please wake up. Everyone misses you. You've been in a coma for years ever since '69. I just want to know what's happening in there." Felix still lays in bed, in a coma from a blast during the war.
Jack: I need you to pick up Edd and Molly and drop them off at the event tonight Felix: no YAY YOU GOT THE GOOD ENDING, YOU FINISHED ALL THE BARN TASKS IN TIME
It's quite a coincidence how Alex Bale (The Muse ARG) also uses this music, it shows how similar the musical status quo goes for Analog Horror and other types of horror.
As the guy who set the score for The Shining said, the reason why it works is because it's a song associated with love and happiness over something off or horrifying
May 2nd, 1973. I'm sorry Jack. It's all my fault. Your children are dead. I've lost my place in heaven. Goodbye Jack, Felix. A letter Felix never sent. He never had the heart to send that to his friend.
"They didn't go home that night, he buried them here. He was too scared. *But they found a way out eventually.* "

“Felix,” He
breathed, his brows furrowing as previous distressed expression twisted into violent anger.
Dude, I almost cried at the end, it's amazing!
Holy cow I love this!
awesome
i literally teared up holy sh*t
you should dedicate to write more stuff, if you arent doing it, that is
this is amazing
I can't even imagine getting divorced and still not being able to say no to your best friend's request out of the kindess in your heart, drinking away your sorrows, then crashing and killing your niece and nephew and having to bury them yourself. Felix's entire life fell apart all in the span of one day. Is he right for what he did? No. But in the real world no one is just good or bad.
felix drank a BIG SHOT
i imagine his divorced wife heard about crash
Didnt he find out about the divorce after the car crash?
misheard lyrics
when shadows fall
i sleep
wishful day is ending
my thoughts forever wending hole
when crickets fall
my heart is forever yourning
once for to be repourning home
when the hills come seal the setting sun
starts begin unpeeping one by one
might come of all
tho fortune may forsake me
sweet dreams will never bake me home
Nah,I think you got it right.
@@melindabolding5601 instead of bake i think it’s take
The song is called “Home (When Shadows Fall)”
I love this song, I’ve been trying to find a record of it, it’s called “home” by Henry Hall and his Gleneagles hotel band.
What’s the original song?
Update: Nevermind I found it. It’s legit called “Home” and it’s on the soundtrack from the movie “The Shining” which shocks me cause I don’t remember that song being on there.
me too!!! i didn’t even realize this was in the movie until i read the comments
it's in the red bathroom scene, i think
Yeah. Masquerade is another song he used which is also in The Shining.
Damn this episode was something else...
“You’ve always been the Caretaker. I should know sir. I’ve always been here.” - Delbert Grady
everyday I wonder why felix didn't tell jack about linda leaving him. he would definitely understand and probably finish his paperwork another time.
This is a shining example of ballroom music.
"You've always been the caretaker." - Delbert Grady.
i should know, ive always been here.
I feel like twf is kinda fnaf like but also sorta its own thing all on its own
dang looks like we both like The Caretaker that much huh
especially the originals
I don't think this was in the caretaker
@@mariotuber2866 the sample was used in ASTTS
We must be patient for the next Walten files. It will be a while but the wait will be worth it
i think each walten files episode is going to increase the disturbing level as the story progresses
I could imagine that you are either edd or molly, inside the car as this music plays on the radio. And as the car crashes, the radio stills plays while you slowly pass away.
Neutral ending: Felix calls the ambulance in time, ending with edd and Molly passing away in the hospital. jack understands about edd and Molly, being devastated, but finds it in him to forgive his best friend because he tried to save them
Every time i hear this and i remember the Bunny Farm end i just feel so sad because of those kids
that 1 dislike is from Felix Krankin
this is one of my favorite walten files music, ive always been a fan of old timey orcherstra
"alright, oh man! Almost forgot about Edd and Molly! haha! alright ill pick em' up now, but first ill go to the bar."
rather humorous how the entirety of the Jack "Walten" Files is one big Anti-Drunk Driving PSA.
my brain keeps thinking its gonna start playing heartaches by al bowly help
It was made by him.
So it kinda makes sense.

Episode 2 is called “the relocation project”
@@areakastudios6704 I know.,,,,,,..,.
same, the mysterious house got me the most at the time
but bunnyfarm is close to it's level
Bunny farm was so sad, but also oddly enough kind of unsettling? I know the series is supposed to be disturbing but I guess it might’ve been cause of how strong my emotions felt while watching the episode.
I love this song so much.
This almost reminds me of looking back on Distant Memories from so long ago could even be months of a happy moment but then it becomes unnerving from when you start to remember what happened after those happy moments how quickly went downhill and changed in such a dramatic way
*THAT NIGHT THEY NEVER MADE IT OUT,BUT THEY EVENTUALLY FOUND A WAY*
“car crash? killer animatronic? people going missing? wow you must have hit your head really hard, hurry along now your dad's waiting for you.”

Bad ending: Oh no! You killed them
Nuetrul ending: You never picked them up
Secret ending: Oh no! All of them died (Felix, Edd, Molly)
True ending: Bon's opened and never shut down
??? Ending: Jack and felix never became friends
K-9 ending: The facilty would become the Bunny smiles HQ
All in one ending: Nothing ever happend
“They didn’t go home that night.”
"He buried them here, he was too scared. But they found they're way out."

"Fault" is heard many times in this song
Such a pretty and comforting song. I love old vintage music and I thank The Walten Files for introducing me to more!!!
I can’t recall when this song played though. What episode is it from?
Its from the ‘Guilty’ tapes when they show a picture of Rocket the doll and it slowly zooms out

AAAA FINALLY FOUND THIS ONE, THIS IS MY ABSOLUTE FAVORITE
Good ending: felix gets pulled over for drunk driving
"Felix, please wake up. Everyone misses you. You've been in a coma for years ever since '69. I just want to know what's happening in there."
Felix still lays in bed, in a coma from a blast during the war.
I do wonder, maybe episode 4 will be a full 180, One where you will be able to get to the good ending, and perhaps even save everyone.
Listening to this makes me feel bad for felix, edd and molly 😔 (btw I want lyrics)(edit in 2022 I learned this is from the shining apparently)

When shadows fall
“And trees whisper ‘day is ending’”
“My heart ever wending home”

Jack: I need you to pick up Edd and Molly and drop them off at the event tonight
Felix: no

I’m already daydreaming to this song, oh dear
ah what a good song to "correct" people to
Bruh what happened to your face in the profile picture😲
It's quite a coincidence how Alex Bale (The Muse ARG) also uses this music, it shows how similar the musical status quo goes for Analog Horror and other types of horror.
As the guy who set the score for The Shining said, the reason why it works is because it's a song associated with love and happiness over something off or horrifying
I love my taste of emotional music sometimes...
Do you think I’m weird or something? 😠
