"Is this place up to fire code?" That was the first thought running through our heads as we lugged our mountain of gear down a creaky, narrow staircase into an old brick basement of a café in Prague. (Spoiler: probably not.) But after a good night’s rest in a hotel just up the hill and finally scoring some excellent coffee, we were feeling ready to tackle another leg of our European trek.
The green room was stocked, the hospitality was top-notch, and spirits were high, but nothing could’ve prepared us for what was about to unfold. This crowd? Absolutely wild. It was one of those nights where the air practically crackles with electricity, the kind of energy that turns a show into a memory you carry for a lifetime.
