First things first. That little trailer was adorable. 2nd dont ever stop making these vids. I watch for the love of heavy haul and my passion for StarCars. I look forward to your videos.
@@luckybananaheavyhaul3407 Well if nobody else actually says it. I trully appreciate what you do. Are you on any other social media like tik tok or anything? Id even follow some quick tik toks. They might not be as time consuming.
@@coreyweaver1129 No just RUclips at the moment. I’ve been considering TikTok, just hesitating on a whole new can of worms and wondering if it’s really worth it.
17:30... I hate it when the slow traffic hogs the middle lane... in a SUV; it must be much worse when they are effectively blocking you from passing them. I was almost expecting them to brake check you...
I like how you tell your story/vlog, not too much talking, mostly video showing how you go about your job. I was surprised that you didn't have to have lights on the over hanging portions of that load especially when driving at night. The reason I asked if you were from Quebec was I was thinking that maybe you just might be from New Brunswick. I didn't realize that french is also spoken there. Keep on Truckin'
Thanks for the positive feedback, it’s always nice to hear 😊 There were lights on the load. You just can’t see them most of the time from the truck point of view. During the one minute that I walk around and do my speech you can see them pretty clearly.
16:46 , Those dam 4 wheelers, I do my best telling my people to try an avoid, by staying completely out of an oversized parade. If you merge into 1 then hang tight till the end cause you are not gonna pass it. & being mixed up in it just creates unnecessary stress.
Is tarping a load like that as big a pain as it looks? Nice video. You are adept at knowing how much of each step of the process to include. Thanks for making these
This move is similar to one I did which was 18' wide for St. Lawrence Cement in Catskill, NY. I know exactly what you mean regarding having the spare tires. They also wanted us to have a bottle jack & tools to change a tire. doesn't make sense because I wouldn't be changing a blow out. New York is new York.
something something electric faliure (the blocking police car with light on was behind the broken one before the oversized got there, then that one moved but the broken down one couldn’t move)
That cop at the start was useless in the back he should have been up front to block the entrance ramps so cars did not get between you and the escorts.
Agreed that the cop wasn’t really helpful, he was just there because it was a requirement on the permit. However I’m not a fan of blocking ramps. Personally I find that cars get confused and make poor choices and it causes problems rather than avoiding them. I like to push my lead escorts far ahead so it is inevitable there are cars between us. But that’s not a problem. On the highway the lead escorts job isn’t to warn traffic of the load but his job is to warn the load of obstacles coming up and the farther they are ahead of the load the more time the load has to react. In my opinion when you see a lead escort on the front bumper of the load he is useless because he sees obstacles at the same time as the load. Thanks for watching ✌️
Nice team work! Good job à Diane, toujours efficace, communications claire, ect... 👍

@@luckybananaheavyhaul3407 tik tok definitely has its ups and downs. I follow a few truck drivers on there. But your the only one I follow on youtube.
I’ll take that as a big compliment! 😁

I used to get upset. Now I go with the philosophy that they just don’t understand because they’ve never done this job and been in my shoes.
Hey Doug Thanks for the video. What a load. I wish there was a video of this moving in New York.
Parabéns amigo trabalho incrível e fundo musical sensacional 🎉
Pirate song good touch 👌🎶👏
Love the music especially the high bar Erie if that’s the name. Yes keep the videos coming we love watching you. Thank you.

You can see the markers on the side when he gets out of the factory at the start. They are on each side.
@@luckybananaheavyhaul3407 Apparently I blinked and missed that when you were talking, my bad!

Awesome load Brov… yep, super loads are a pain growing through NY… just about any load into NY especially NYC comes with incomprehensible challenges.

I hate tarping but it comes with the territory 🤷🏼♂️

Tarping any load sucks! But, as the man says, just part of it!
Awesome job doug.
Damn, you just had to add the music and now my newfie wife is dancing the jig and I can't get her back in the truck.
Hahaha glad she enjoyed! 😊

Just another example of rules that don’t reflect our reality.
what are the codes you post in the video description?
It’s the codes for the royalty free music I use. If not RUclips will flag the video for copyright.
@@luckybananaheavyhaul3407 oh ok. That makes sense thanks
good Video and very good music
I would like to see a map route that your take, You could put one up on each trip at lease across the US
Good suggestion. I’ll see if I can integrate that into future videos
@@luckybananaheavyhaul3407 If you could tell us what towns you are going through (I.E. your route) that would be great.
Awfully nice of those Gov't agents to blockade your route. 🤘🤣🤘
Never a dull moment. But I must admit, an abandoned police car is a first for me 🤣. Thanks for watching 😊
that was good love all your content whats the cost to move a load like that from start to finish ??
I just drive. I don’t take care of the numbers.
Thanks for watching.
I’m guessing over $15/mile (over.. some places it’s expensive to get one police escort let alone two, plus the regular escorts, and permits.)
Yes keep them coming.
with the 5 spare tyres does the permit say you need a jack and wheel brace to be able to change it if you be a flat
Yes it does and yes I had with me.
@@luckybananaheavyhaul3407 I'm amazed that the pencil pushers were smart enough to have it on the permit
That police car on the bridge is certainly not serving the protecting while blocking the lane with no lights to show a hazard exists.

Abandoned police car blacked out wtf😮
Only in Quebec 🤪
NY city has kinda the same rules. Ran bridge beams to Long Island but couldn’t cross the GW til dark (forgot what time)🤷♂️
Yup been there too!

Is Donna Summers gonna be singing at that disco party 😅
like the music to
At least when you’re staged at the gee wiz( G W ) bridge there’s a nice diner up on the street 😉
I like the video but it would be nice to know what the hell the escorts are saying
They are speaking French. I’m from Quebec so some of these videos will be in French.
👍👍👍👍
Wow
Merci ☺️
Are you Quebecois?
Yes I’m from north of Montreal. My videos will be sometimes in French depending on the escorts I’m working with.
Why didn’t the cop 👮♀️ move his car out of the way????
Bravo des nerfs d’acier! Diane a déclaré que tu es son homme, j’espère que son mari ne suit pas tes vidéos 😜

I’d be dad I love you but this is gonna cost ya😅
How about speaking in English so people can understand what the hell you're saying
I forgot the world revolves around you. We’ll all learn English for you. So sorry
What a mess with the bridge. So I guess the patrol car was just a fixture with nobody able to move it? Keep up the good work sir. 🦺😁
