That was good surf compared to an east coast summer day, but it wasn't contest quality surf. All the set waves closed out. The longest rides were on small mushy waves. And where were the women? Disappointing.

That current is NUTZ, and the pier is covered in razor barnacles. Seems it's always a few days off of the most epic days.
