Just as a visual guess mate... I would say the whole Pork Joint was roughly about 1.8Kg to 2.0Kg... Or 4.0lb to 4.4lb in weight. 👍 The reason i say that... Is that Iceland sell a fresh 950g Gammon Joint that looks about half the size of the Pork Joint Andy had here... So 950g x 2 = 1.9Kg... So this weight is slap bang in the middle of my guess... Give or take anyway my friend. 😉👌
@@AWWF By the way Andy... I noticed that you were trying out a cooking bag to microwave your Freshly Sliced Mushrooms... Do you have any microwaveable bowls with lids at home mate?... If not... You can buy George Home Noodle Bowls from Asda for £1.50... But at the moment they're on offer for just £1.20 each my friend... They have a pop-up vented lid to let out any trapped steam... And they're a decent size too... The description and dimensions are as follows... "Asda Noodle Bowl... 18 x 16 x 11cm (L x W x H) Ideal for microwaving meals on the go with convenient carry handle. Wash before first use. Suitable for use in a dishwasher on top rack only. Ensure vent is opened before microwaving." A couple of reviews have said that the clip-top lid doesn't always close properly... But I've bought several of these now... And all you have to do to make the lid clip on properly before microwaving... Is firstly to push the lid down firmly with the flat of one hand... Then push down the four clips to hold the lid on securely with your other hand... Occasionally during the microwaving process... The heat generated might make one of the clips pop open... But the other three will still hold the lid securely in place... And i can honestly say... That I've never had any splatters in my microwave from using any of them... They're really great value for money too for what you're getting my friend... Especially at just £1.20 each mate. I would suggest buying one or two of these Noodle Bowls just to see if you like them... They're great for microwaving and heating things like Tins of Baked Beans... Tomatoes... Curry... Chilli Con Carne... As well as things like Frozen Vegetables too... Just add a couple of teaspoons of cold water in with your Frozen Vegetables before microwaving... And they'll cook and steam the mixed vegetables beautifully... A little bit like the Frozen Birds Eye Steam-Fresh Vegetable Microwave Bags you can buy in-store...👌 Sorry it's a bit of a long comment Andy... All the best. 👍Cheers mate.🍺
@@rickb3645 Hi Rick. Thanks for the info. Yes we have got a microwaveable container but I think it'll be a good idea to get a few more. With what you have said I will have to check it out next time I go shopping. I think it's very complimentary that you take the time to message me even moreso with such information so a huge thank you. Have a fantastic day bud 😊
Roasting bags instruct you to use a tbsp of flour in an oven and make holes in the bag. Then you tie the bag. Are they not to be done that way in an air dryer? My experience has been that meats cook faster in a bag in the oven.
Hi Maggie. Personally I wouldn't put a hole in the bag because they tear so easily. Not all roasting bag makes come with ties so I don't use them. Now as it happens my video coming out this coming Saturday is me testing out the flouring of the roasting bag first to test it out. 😊
Hi bud. Very true but it was mostly a test between foil and bag, For something with loads of flavour check out video 101 gammon gumbo. It was out of this world 😋
Hi Anne. Do you think ? . It wasn't slow cooker moist but the part cooked in the roasting bag was definitely better. If you have a recommendation of how to do it better please let me know. I could come back to this and do it your way 😊 . Thanks so much for watching and taking the time to contact me. Have a fantastic day 😊👍
I don't use either, but I can put a whole chicken in for 20mins each side, comes out golden juicy and beautiful to eat
20 ! You must have one powerful fryer. Mine would be raw inside for that amount of time.
Personally I recommend the bags but its all personal taste 😊
Chicken cooked to classical music. I must subscribe and revisit this environment.
Thanks. But be warned, I'm trying to learn to cook and find things that go together that most people wouldn't think of. It's fun 😊
Oh yes. This promises to be very enjoyable.

I'm glad you enjoyed it. Thanks for watching and for taking the time to contact me.
I hope you have a wonderful year 😊
How much did the Pork weigh, uncooked?
Oh wow. Now you are asking. Got to be honest I didn't look sorry.
