Hey Matt. I have a issue we’re the Cel for p0243 Triggers only when I turn the headlight switch on. I’ve clear all the grounds replaced mfs and took the harness and visually everything looks good. But still once I turn the switch p0243. Am I missing something. Thank you for any input or idea we’re I can dig. Love the videos.
sounds like you have a ground back feeding threw the harness some where, if this link comes up right they usually explain things well. www.obd-codes.com/p0243
Matt, I'm having this problem right now with my neon. I had bought a new switch and plug and have everything connected and in but only the turn signals work. It's not a fuse either. Some input would be greatly appreciated!
brandon baldwin check the wiring that runs across the btm of the core support for damage I found some issues there I’ll guess you checked fuses and relays
Hey bro, I have a an 03 Neon SXT. It’s been blowing turn signal/brake light fuses and my mechanic traced the short to the multi function switch. He showed me a burn spot on one of the connections. Not saying my mechanic is wrong but is it possible the multi function switch is causing my fuses to blow and the right front turn signal to not work properly? I’ve been sinking money in my car and need another opinion before I buy this switch
Hello, in all the neons I’ve not had a bad switch I’m not saying it’s not possible. this end in the video is not that bad it would cause an issue yet I’ve seen them melted far worse, if the housing is not there (melted away) to keep the wires separate they can short and blow fuses while it’s plugged in (bad connection) of wire to switch there maybe other issues but this is very common issue if this looks good. I’d want to look at the brake light switch and wiring under the dash on the pedal..
not sure what your asking, but I've never seen a bad switch, just a bad plug end causing a bad connection i'm sure its possible that if not repaired soon enough it could cause damage to the malfunction switch
I looked at eBay, but I would rather get it done asap. If I can't get one from a salvage yard locally this weekend, I will go to eBay for next weekend. Thanks for the help though. It's refreshing to find support.

When searching for the connector, what did u type in eBay to find it?

yes the plug end is the same as the regular neon
