Reginald Ballard spoke about his favorite Martin episode that he filmed, revealing it was the "Dream Sandwich" episode, where he told Martin that he looked run down and like he needed some sleep. Martin and Gina casted as each others love interest too long all those years. naturally being around the same person all the time would make you naturally start to like each other. They both started catching feelings for each other, but wouldnt actually "date" per say. One because Martin was still "hollywoody". He was comedic playboy. Got all the women on his nuts and he played with who he played with. Tisha was more so lowkey with her life. She preferred to keep stuff more private. Which is where her and Martin differed. This is why they couldnt actully TRULY date. It was because of his outgoing lifestyle. A lot of this has been confirmed by not only himself, but Tichina and Carl from the show. Word was on the set, that martin and Tisha would practice thier kissing scenes and stuff off set and off duty to perfect it. Back in thier trailers and stuff. ( Who knows what was going on then). But they both were very comfortable going to each other trailers often people on the set would say. Martin sometimes would randomly show up in the middle of the night and kick it with Tisha. Eventually, though they both had feelings for each other, Martin caught more feelings for Tisha than she did for him. And when men catch feelings, they become POSSESSIVE. Word was, when Gina would go on dates with other guys, Martin would be pissed and her and act out. He would go out drinking,smoking weed, partying, messin with hoes, argue with her, show up at her place and snap on her. These are actual facts as these statements im mentioning are collection of what the other cast members from the show have mentioned over the years in several interviews. If you dont believe me, go watch TICHINA ARNOLD "Uncensored" episode when she talk about what went down. Her and Tisha been childhood best friends and she had the scoop on what Tisha you to come to her about whenver she got into it with Martin. Anyways, long story short. Around that 4th or 5th season, Tisha had met Duane Martin. And they started dating real hard. And Martin got super jealous over that shit. He would clown how the dude look and shit and tell Tisha dude cant love her like he do. Tisha would ignore him and call martin crazy.She started to distance herself from Martin. Bust he would still think shit was sweet like how it used to be. Still walking up in her trailer trying to kiss on her and stuff. Like they used to. But she wasnt with the shits anymore. martin didnt see anything wrong with it, because he hd been doing that stuff with her. Anyways, she kept distancing herslef as she was getting serious with Duane. Martin thought it was sham to make him jealous. Which if was, it worked. Anyways after Tisha wouldnt stop seeing Duane after Martin told her to stop seeing him. Martin eventually wrote Tisha a letter and it was threatening her and going off on her. Alongside him talking how he kill himself or kill him and her. Some crazy pyscho letter. and THAT was when Tisha drew the line and reported harassment and threats against Martin. And thats when all the shits hit the fans. When everyone got ahold of the letter he wrote. Everybody was wow Martin, u gotta chill dude. According to Martin himself and other cast members, he felt like his celebrity had gotten so big, that he could control and do what he want. He let fame possess him and thought he could be possessive over Tisha, but she didnt stay attached to him like he thought she would. Ultimately that caused the set to be split and orders were placed against each other so they could be on set together and shit. Some people think tisha took it too far, because everybody new her and Martin had SOME TYPE of REAL relationship going on. But you know how it is when u break up with your ex, and you try to go back around her and do things yall did when yall were together?/ And she be like nahhhhh and you all confused like what?/ We always used to do this together?? Thats how MArtin and Gina relationship turned. And that drove him mad. Because he was truly in love with her. Just couldnt have her the way he wanted. And she couldnt have him the way she wanted. thanks to Hollywood and fame. Thats the real story guys.They had real feelings thats why thier chemistry was off the charts.

The final season of _Martin_ just wasn't the same altogether. None of his characters (except for Shenehneh) made any appearances and Tisha Campbell filing the lawsuit put the nail in the coffin. It had some good moments but not like seasons 1-3. Season 4 was when the show was at its peak. RIP Tommy Ford.
