    I cant paint or draw - so I visit youtube chinese sumi e and japanese teaching sites to feel awe.

    It is the contemporary trend to rate calligraphy so high in Chinese art...but I disagree. To me the pre-Patriarchal calligraphy period is much more fecund and rich of spirit.
