makes me laugh the man wasnt chinese he was mongolian and khublais wife brought buddhism to the great mongolian masses
he was indeed known as a Khan and a king of all mongolians khan means leader of all in that culture and indeed genghis khans great great great grandson
she and him had 13 children together
Kublai Khan named his dynasty Yuan based on Han chinese character 'Yuan' 元 taken from chinese classical text 'I Ching' 易经.
Lee Zhi Eng True enough but the man was bright enough to take on some chinese customs not going around murdering people
THANKS TO HES WIFE!
Chabi who infact she had a great influence on the higher chinese classes and introduced Tibetan Buddhism to them also she died let me think probably the amount of children she had and then a second wife took over her name was Nambui the Chinese advisors probably change their names so people could pronounce them properly.
funny that even so Yuan means Ching
wow! didn't know that and of course the whole dynasty was full of Mongolian Leadership
