If all the demon does is amplify their wishes, does that mean they have at least a degree of agency over helping Sybill ? As in, they simply stop holding their unconscious thoughts back.
A Cybil is supposed to be, according to old western folklore, prophetesses of old age who predict stuff as if being possessed. If this is a demon in this show, it must have been a resentful human in another life. The concept of demons is rebellion when taken too far. But what is the correct definition of "too far", when the life of flesh is ephemeral, and only your memory will endure ?
