Crazy Diamond DID in fact get nerfed after it was released, but the nerfs only affected "Yo angelo", and fixed the rock trap still stunning after it was broken, and also increased start up on the move, but this did nothing to really nerf the stand.

The worst thing about the combo at the start of the video is, at least since i last played, you can hit blood slash while the enemy is grounded. Therefore you can continue the combo with the block break homing shot. Truly a YBA moment (Edit: he mentioned the blood slash on ground thing, but i feel like this comment still somewhat applies)

I said it once and I'll say it again, if you want fancy powerful stands and fancy powerful specs, then do what Project jojo did and split the specs into spec only and spec with stand. You can have the standalone spec with fancy moves and then have a toned down version for use with a stand, then if someone enjoys the boxing moves they just get the spec and if they just want a bonus with their stand they get the neutered version

@Ilyes Barrage obviously don't counter because almost every stand has them. Also, WA's Gently Weeps is a passive that CAN do damage, but the move does not ACTIVELY do dmg.
The final part about YBA feeling like aut is the reason I quit yba. YBA is almost entirely reliant on combos ever since the specs started getting reworked which just ruined the fun of the combat for me and probably many others
My personal opinion is pluck is the best spec with cd, due to the fact that you can easily combo pierce strike confirms yo angelo. Then you go from there and you can still use the same thing you did at the start of the video. and for saw yes it can do almost a one shot combo to a one shot combo, with pluck all you do is just hit shovel barrage which has hyper armor then unsealed steel, bubble trap or whatever it is, and after that you just use your beatdown and then go beyond.
The game has made specs almost the equivalent to a whole nother stand and didn’t think that the damage balancing between the 2 would turn into 75% health stealing combos. They are focusing on what’s cool not what’s balanced.
So I know I'm a bit late to the party with this video but since you brought up soft and wet.. if you land vision plunder and then zoom punch afterwards from close up followed by moisture plunder, bubble prison becomes a true hit which guarantees beatdown and the beatdown guarantees go beyond hitting if you spam it quick enough. This combo with hamon fully charged basically one hit kills from 100% hp, even boxing users. Assuming you have moisture plunder fully maxed and have at least 1 upgrade in vision and bubble prison and that they don't barrage to escape the combo, which btw might not work since moisture plunder stuns forever and has wonky hit boxes. Don't worry it isn't all it has though it also has shovel barrage which is a kick barrage on steroids, an uncalcellable ragdoll hit that guarantees go beyond hitting and a healing/dodge move. It's also pretty cheap on points with all attacks costing 1, go beyond costing 5 and each upgrade costing 3 per.
CD has an actual one shot combo with hamon, even on a boxing player. All you need is to counter someone, then land You’re In My Range, then do rock trap, throw blood directly next to them (DONT HIT THEM WITH THE BLOOD SO THE ROCK TRAP DOESNT BREAK) then do homing shard and immediately do bearing shot so that the AOE of homing shard and bearing shot hit at the same time, then do zoom punch and then do beat down. It is an instant kill on all non boxing players, if it is a boxing player then you just put blood on them while they are ragdolled after the beatdown and then homing shard kills
I got banned from the game and they didn't even tell me why. When I tried to report it to the server all they did was ban me from there, as well. I've never exploited, and I don't even know how I got banned. Their report system really sucks, the staff don't talk to the people whatsoever
Eclipse, I've played 1v1's for awhile and haven't seen this combo I think people are using stands and not looking for combo's, which is why most of these likely goes unnoticed. I don't like Uzu's method of making a stand / spec and not having playtesters use it and look for stupid combo's like this. I know they likely have playtesters but they likely don't do that much of a good job (considering this exists) I'm hoping uzu uses his brain for a millisecond and has skilled players (like Leaderboard players) playtest before spec/stand release
Soft and wet also has a stun move that confirms into beat down, not only that it also has an un-counterable move that you can use right after that does 30 damage, removes a limb and applies bleed
Soft and wet also has a almost one shot combo, with almost every spec. Also Go beyond has a super long lingering hit box, you can use any long ragdoll to confirm it.
S&W can almost one shot combo with pluck since you can use unsealed steel to catch players getting up from ragdoll (which is stupid as fuck). Go beyond cannot be used in neutral because the move has a huge start up and the explosion doesn't follow you, you can only land it when aiming at a ragdolled player.
tip for fighting crazy diamond, barrage during your in my range and block, it will cancel anything they do and they will be instun before a barrage clash can happen, if they start to barrage first you can wait it out and barrage clash them

I still play yba somewhat, and at this point I've just given up complaining about balance issues because every new stand that comes out seems to have so many combo extenders despite most previous stands not really having any which leads to a massive disparity between new stands being op and old stands struggling to get anything. As someone who is a CD main, the blood slash ignores ALL immunities, so the barrage immunity, bd immunity, and everything else that gives you s can STILL be hit through with blood slash. If you can see the enemy, you can combo them. I just suck at the game so I don't do those funny combos. Edit: Well, that ONE issue has been fixed.

In fact i've released weapons in my own game incredibly unbalanced at release, but i always nerf it within 5 minutes after i get a report. the fact that uzu has delayed nerfs for such a obscene combo for 10 whole months is absurd.

But if you are hit with a blood slash, your option will be running away or try to attack the Cd user so he won't do his combos (you may aswell throw em your haymaker skill unless cd counters it with its counter). Counters: any counter in yba, rtz (bypasses the auto aim skill and unsummon stands, also gives you invincibility) and Time earase are also countering Cd entirely. Same thing with White album's gently weeps which makes it easier to beat a cd user because white album is able to do a half HP or a oneshot combo against anyone who got hit by the double slice skill (the Y move probubly). And Cd is Cd's counter itself.
