Got one, run it into a Line 6 Catalyst 60 since I have limited space. Amazing, amazing amp-in-a-box - also, US-made for a very good price! Great demo, Taylor!
I have the Aura Amps Diamond Pre. Sounds dead on. Built like a tank. Made in Brazil by Aura Amps that make a MESA Dual/Rec handmade tube amp clone for the Brazilian market. I tried it because they make an amp so they had a good chance of making a good pedal. I was stunned with the sound and quality. It sells for $200. The big thing is it has a balz and a punch that just jumps out at you that I wasn't expecting. Easily in the Friedman BEOD or Soldano SLO pedal league of serious sh@t. THANX as always for great reviews. I appreciate all the hard work and long hours it takes you to make them.
Just found your channel and you have helped me out Big time! The different ways to hook up a modeler video was priceless, and you went in depth, thank you! Yours is the only one I found that covered this, and its a vital part of getting things going and sounding right. I was wondering, what is that power amp you are using in this video? I'm looking for one but not totally sure what to buy. Pedal sounds awesome btw!
Thanks dude, I'm glad to have helped! It's called a higher power by This Heavy Earth Effects. If they are out of stock, it is comparable to a Magnum 44 by electro harmonix
Love skillet! The vocalists wife plays a prs 277 tuned lower for the heavy songs live. If I had to tell you one sing to listen to, whispers in the dark. They usually open with it with violins and cellos. Hits so hard! They are cool too. They don't take their Christian stuff too seriously. They love thier metal! At least for sure the vocalist. He's friends with Corey Taylor for one example. My wife and I go to a Christian fest just to see them. Totally worth how awkward it is. Very obvious a ton of ppl have the same idea. The whole day is quiet until skillet plays at night. Goes from a wasteland to packed in minutes.
As much as skillet kinda sucks with their push towards a more contemporary sound, I still think they have some skill, and apparently good taste in pedals, good job seth
@@TaylorDanley yeah they did for sure, they've always kinda been a hard rock band anyways, the early 2k stuff was good for what it was but I think I prefer death metal haha, glad you like the pedal
Thank you for playing actual metal riffs. This is what we came here for. I have the mxr 5150 in a box and have been wanting a rectifier in a box ever since. Glad I waited because this seems like the best one on the market. And I don’t even listen to Skillet 😅
That guitar cable looks like quality..what kind is it..pedal sounds good..but my Revv g3 just has that thing..I need a eq.. just always find something cooler that I don't need lol..✌️🤟
Dig the riffs? Listen to my band: open.spotify.com/playlist/6PHBluWLj7uqsbNERdvShA?si=f0a631f11f314470
I DO dig the riffs!

Thanks dude! I agree, cool pedal.
Sounds like the tone on malevolent creations fine art of murder big time... I've loved the tone on that album since I was high-school
I’m pleasantly surprised, that thing sounds pretty good! Nice video big guy
Thanks!
Sounds good, I have v3 of the Piper. Same smaller pedal, an excellent and very tight OCD. Cody has good ears.
Everytime I hear the word “skillet” I think about that meme photo of a kid with a whole skillet tattoo chest piece of a drum set and laugh.
Sounds killer, but, I weirdly preferred it before the eq cut. Reminded me of that fat Crowbar esque tone

@@TaylorDanley Thanks for the reply! Truly appreciate it!
Okay when you said you thought it was Skrillex I legitimately laughed out loud. Lmao. Badass pedal tho
It rips!
The Pedal is bases off of a Rev. F Dual Rectifier.
I have this running with a Mesa Boogie power amp.❤
💪
Yo Taylor, have you ever reviewed the Revv G4? I cant find it if you have... And if you havent, why in the hell not?? 🤘
Have not! I'm not sure, just never came up. No reason in particular.
Well, shit you make it sound good!
🥳💪

I'd never heard them up to this point, but they collaborated on a great sounding pedal!

Not a fan of the rectifier sound but I definitely like this
I like the rectifier sound, but only when you put a lot of effort into making it sound like this pedal lol.
@@TaylorDanley Solid state rectifier sounds so good

It is! Happy Cable Company.
What power amp is that?
Higher Power by This Heavy Earth
Skillet is almost enough to make me never buy it haha. However, the sound of this is quite good.
Killer tight tone💲
I would buy a skrillex distortion pedal
i love christian metaL
So sick!!!!
What guitar is that?
Deviant Guitars Grimoire
I get the same sound out of my Cube amp...😊 recto setting.
I'd rip it! I think it sounds pretty good... especially if you have a crappy amp.
The sound? RIP. The band? SKIP.
