I remember when the Raptor first came out, i had banshees at the time. i remember being jealous of the nice suspension they had vs the banshees, but i couldnt get over how tall they felt from being used to banshee seating. it was like getting up on a horse...lol
QUADNATION 929 Exactly! I don’t even think a Banshee that’s pipped and jetted could take my 700...if you do more mods then the Banshee gets really fast!

I’ve taken the desert bike out a few times, and the dune bike is ready to rip! Always love the Yamaha vids, keep up the good work!
Only brand New thing i ever bought is my 08 raptor. I'll never sell it!! Stock pipe but 5 inch wider rear axle,2inch wheel spacers up front and a elka steering stabilizer and k&n filter. Stripped out my oil plug just like you🤣 thanks for that vid by the way. I've had it sealed with teflon for 3 years. Now I'll do it right like you did so thanks again. My son and 2 daughter's ride it constantly now. You gotta jump on the quad and do wheelies once and a while , keeps ya young😁 👍👍
First upgrades I’d look at are nerf bars (I hate thinking about my feet slipping off and going under the rear) and of course the big 3. A cheap light bar is also easy, practical, and looks awesome

Your awesome! ✊ Ok so back to the quad, I noticed right off the bat that you have YFZ450 tires on the back and I love the look of that wider yet factory tire. I may have mentioned that to you before but I couldn't remember lol. Second by the look of the aluminum swingarm that machine is clean! I also really like the special edition badging on the fuel tank that would have been cool if mine would have came like that. Also that seat is in mint condition! 👌 I had to buy a new seat for my Trail Boss and it was $300 🤦🏼♂️ Keep up the great content bro!
Dude! Your good...you definitely know your quads! Those are 450 rims/tires. My buddy bought it new and it was ridden a bit then sat in a garage for about five years. He then rode it for a bit and I ended up with it. It’s in nice shape...

They are 1.5 inches wider per tire while at the same time keeping the same tires size as far as the height which is great for me because I don't want a taller tire because of the type of riding I like to do. Most of the aftermarket tires I look at that are wider than my stock ones are then much taller.
Odyssey offroad I can tell you that I think the Raptor 700R is very comfortable seating position and has great suspension. The engine has loads of torque too! Maybe it will be better on your back...?

DUNE YXZ just a couple of reviews on some Chinese quads I bought but .... I wound up pulling the trigger on some 2020 Raptors . I have yet to put that content out as I have been traveling for work . Hopefully I get to put it out soon , for now I’m enjoying yours and several other guys on here that put out some great content . I’m learning a lot from u guys .
Congrats on the new toy!! I love my 16 raptor se. To me the raptor is the best all around 4wheeler there is. But when I want to get stupid I break out the 89 250r and when I start feel my age, I break the talon X. Lol Can never have to many toys.
Yes that is a good deal but I would make sure the main portion of the quad is in very good condition. You can always replace handlebars handgrips and tires ect...
@@ap9863 Owned the 660 also...it’s a good quad!. Second only to the 700. The 700 has better suspension, more comfortable, is faster, the construction and rear swing arm is far superior. Go with the 700 if you can afford it!

I remember that! I had banshees also and got beat by a stock 700 back then. It was so weird because the banshee “felt” faster...
