I have a 2018 base model 700 that I bought second hand in Dec. of 2018. It is a very good machine. It had Houiser long travel A-arms and full FMF exhaust already on it from the previous owner. It did not have an aftermarket intake or fuel programmer on it when I got it. Maybe the previous owner took those 2 mods. off before he sold it to me or maybe just had not added the other "2" of the big "3" yet. With just a full exhaust It popped and died just off idle or when I would blip the throttle sometimes to downshift smoother. (otherwise it ran fine) I figured the air/fuel ratio was not right because it lacked the other 2 of the big 3. So I bought a factory muffler off the internet and put it on in place of part of the FMF system but I kept the FMF Powerbomb head pipe on it. Now the popping and dying just off idle issue is way much improved. The power seems the same but it is way quieter which is good for where I mostly ride. I also added the Houiser +1.25 anti-vibe steering stem and Flexx bar combo. because when I got it the factory handle bars were a little tweeked and the factory steering stem was twisted from an apparent crash before I got it. Now the handlebars are higher and more comfortable, and have the "shock elastometers" (basically skateboard truck bushings). I had to get a +2 inch longer throttle cable for the taller steering stem and bars. I enjoy riding it and I spend a lot of time with the front wheels off the ground. The Raptor is a wheelie machine. One day I might get better shocks than my base model shocks. The previous owner did have shocks with piggy back reservoirs on it but took them off before I got it. The only real thing I still need to address is my rear brake caliper rattles some because the rubber bushings on the sliders attached to the rear swing arm must be worn out. The brakes work fine otherwise. I know this turned into a long post but I figured I would share some of my Raptor 700 ownership experience. Overall a very good machine and in my opinion with all its performance capabilities especially including having a reverse gear make it the best "all around" true sport quad. Shane
Thank You for Your review. Waiting for the dealer buying 1 for me and 1 for my Son. Will look for those lamp covers now. Very excited Thanks Again Brother 👍🏻
Had mine for 4 years. I weigh 130lbs so as a lighter rider my only complaint is when riding it hard it’s a bit top heavy and tipsy. Obviously that’s a given with the more narrow wheel base compared to a 450 to better fit trails but other than that perfect. Also stock tires suck imo. Edit: Great tip on lubing the chain before every ride i do the same.
Yeah I just widened mine 4 inches all the way around for that very reason. Personally I love the stock tires. And yeah I believe chain maintenance will give the sprockets and chain so much more life!
Yamaha was cheap with those headlights. Can’t wait to see you on the track. My boy is still undefeated in the drags. I still remember me and you going to sit on this quad before you bought it. Great video, love the attire and the microphone.
Yeah definitely cheap! Thanks 😂 drags just come natural to me but I'm hoping I don't get whooped on the track lol. Yeah I remember those days.... Wow my brother time sure does fly!
Bike still looks sweet! I'm a 700 lover myself, on my 4th one, brand new 19' in the shop with bad fuel pump, I know bad luck! 65 years old and ride street bikes also.
Thanks brother! Yeah the Raptors are amazing! That sucks but I've heard it's a common problem with the newer Raptors. Keep riding until you absolutely can't no more 🤘
@@FREEDOMSYNDICATEOFFICIAL I will, Thanks! Picked it up from the Stealership yesterday and took my 1st ride. Service manager said pump was locked up and that why it was blowing the EFI fuse. Original pump lasted for 100 feet ride, from showroom floor to my trailer out front. 🤣🤦♂️
Yes, it’s my first Raptor! Such a great machine. I ride mine hard as well. A lot of rough trail riding in Florida where I live. I also ride dirt bikes as well a Yamaha YZ250 2 Stroke. I heard you say you live in Florida as well let’s ride sometime soon!
@@JaseVaughn let's do it brother! DM me on Instagram QUADNATION 929 and we'll schedule something up! I've found the Raptor to be very reliable but yet perform like a race quad! It just has unbelievable power! Bro I've had my eyes on a YZ250 for a while 😱 That's awesome you have one! I would love to do a first impression ride on one 😁😁😁
I have the exact quad and my carrier just went out on me yesterday. Front brakes factory rear I’ve changed twice. Try 20” ITP mud lights on the back. I don’t ride track, all out woods race and air. They give you excellent forward traction but allows the quad to slip on turns I guide mine just by changing weight on the foot pegs. Re coated exhaust once.
QUADNATION 929 I probably have well over 100 hours of full send. Lots of jumping probably didn’t help my carrier out too much but that’s the way it goes.
I apologize but I didn't see this until now. The 700 is considered the base model. The 700R is the upgraded model which comes with upgraded adjustable shocks, which may not sound like much but it allows for adjustment on all types of terrain and if bought separately are very expensive as well. The 700R SE is the special edition Raptor which comes with the upgraded adjustable shocks, GYTR front bumper, GYTR heel guards, and a custom color.
I went with 22x12.5x9 rear super swamper, and for regular riding 22x11x9 front 23x7x10 front. But I've also went with 105.5mm piston stage 3 cam, plus 3mm intake valve and plus 2mm exhaust valves, efi controller, breathable airbox lid, freed up the exhaust, full Hinson clutch. I geared it up as well, riding at 75mph I can pull it up in 4th then shift in 5th and it's stupid fast. Thinking of building a can am defender 6x6 with a cab, maybe make a swamp monster out of it, for my next build. I've also got ski conversation for front. I enjoy the quad when it need to be refreshed again I'll go with the 108mm top end piston.
@@FREEDOMSYNDICATEOFFICIAL I live inbeween Polaris industries and arctic cat. I've head of northern crank from thief river falls Minnesota making special crank shafts to put 2 M1000 2-stroke motors together ect.... I believe people are thinking too small when hopping up a utv like a wildcat sport. I couldn't imagine almost 2k of 2-stroke motor then add a turbo after the expansion chamber, don't think many utv's would be able to complete against that, but I'm sure just like daddy Dave's Sonoma. It would probably eat itself, if your not careful
Are you referring to where I said I had the dealership check my valve clearance? If that's what you're referring to I only allowed them to do it the first time because the quad has a 6-month warranty and I was within that range of warranty so if I were to do it myself and then later have an engine failure they would notate that I did not have them do the valves at the 10-hour mandatory break in period. or if I had done it myself then they would blame that the engine failure was due to an uncertified technician working on the quad. This is the reason why I had them do it so it's on record so that way if the engine had a catastrophic failure there would be no question as to who is going to repair it as this would be on them. Once my warranty expired I have since done all my own maintenance.
On your head lights just put red led bulbs and a led light bar on the the front of your quad which would give you all the light you need and look really cool on your quad
i've got 500 hours on mine, just now bringing it in for a rebuild. Never brought it in for a service or anything. Got word back from the shop that it doesn't even need a rebuild yet. These machines take so much abuse and just keep trucking.
Great review mate! 👌 I've got a touch over 100 hrs on my 2016 myself. Only issues I've had is a noisy chain roller and I can't keep the stock shifter tight on the splined shaft, all very minor. I've got an Empire full exhaust on mine and love it, it's loud and deep! 👌💪
Thanks brother! Low hours for a 2016 IMO. You may need to purchase a new shift lever. If it's loosened up on you in the past it may have prematurely work the teeth out which means when you tighten it the teeth are no longer as good as they once were and it will continue to loosen up. Buy a new one and see how it works out for you buddy. Good to hear you love your Empire system! 🤘
I do agree with you on that that it would change the look completely. And I'm a fan of how the headlights currently look so I wouldn't want them to change that up. I guess really in this case the best case scenario would be for Yamaha to carry the lens covers from the factory.
Yes I love sport quads because of their speed and maneuverability. They do handle better because they are made for speed but a utility quad is definitely the way to go if you wish to go mudding.
If you plan to keep it a very long time you might as well just buy new. But if you're going to be trying out a few different bikes then you definitely want to buy used just to save that hit of depreciation.
Great review! I told you I just got a 2007 Raptor 700R SE. It’s my second Raptor and I just love riding it. Even owning my YXZ (that’s awesome BTW) I still love throwing my leg over a 700! The best quad ever made in my opinion...
I remember! Now you gotta get some videos of it! I also agree with you, definitely my favorite quad I've ever been on so far and I've been on almost every sport quad.
Nice review man! I know this isn’t one of the 3 exhausts you mentioned but we love our Barkers big three package on our raptors. Barkers full dual exhaust, fuel customs intake, and a PCV with Barkers map already installed on it. So far we are around 3000 miles on that setup with no issues. Keep up the great videos. 👍
Thanks brother I appreciate that! As far as Barker's I do love the look of the duals. The only thing I don't care for is the the back plastics are molded for the exhaust on only one side. Does it look bad in person? Or is it really not all that noticable?
QUADNATION 929 We had the same concern as well but put them on anyway as we really liked the unique look of the duals. It’s really not as noticeable as you would think. We would put duals on again without hesitation.
Check out some of my longevity videos on the Raptor you'll be very impressed. I tore the engine down at least the top end anyways at 300 hours and it still had perfect compression and looked pristine inside with the exception of a small amount of carbon buildup
@@FREEDOMSYNDICATEOFFICIAL That's excellent & good to know👍Thanks! You must've used very good "full synthetic" engine oil ..or semi-synthetic @ very least & good fuel w/maybe octane booster. Thanks for the feedback! So far homie shot footage in Florida. Some of the places I've been to are the Ocala National Forest, Osceola National Forest, and Croom ATV Park.
The lens covers are aftermarket and usually sold 3rd party on ebay from what I've seen. I asked years ago when I bought mine in 2011 and they aswell said no. Went home on Ebay and ordered a set of reaper eyes. For exhaust I'm running a Big gun evo r race series full system but this was 2011 so not alot of top notch exhausts were out yet for raptors. 2011 was also the first year for fuel injection I believe so everything was just hard to get for mine when I bought it. Still runs like day 1 I'd never buy another quad except another raptor.
The biggest thing that I can contribute to keeping this raptor in excellent condition would be that after each ride I spray the quad down with water. Also, if I ride in the rain, because there's contaminants in the rain that will cause corrosion to the quad, I'm sure to spray the quad with the water from my well as it removes those contaminants. When it comes to washing the quad I just use an automotive soap and then after I wash it I apply a polish which I buy from my local dealership and I spray it on the quad let it sit about 5-10 minutes and then I wipe it off. The polish will help prevent new mud and dirt from sticking so well to the plastics making it much easier for you to remove the dirt and grime later on. I'll make a video on this soon if you're interested.
QUADNATION 929 Nice that is the basic understanding I had for keeping them clean I was curious if you had any tricks or specific products. I heard maxima SC1 works well. A video like that would cool 🤙🏻
@@User37621 I've never tried that product but I'm going to look into it today and possibly use the product when I do a full cleaning and detail video 👍

Got mine about a month ago! Amazing bike! Haven’t had any issues at all, I try to give it a daily dose of being Wide open and it loves it! However if i take it to the local Yamaha dealer while being under warranty will i have to pay to have the valves checked?
I give my 2016 raptor 10-10 to reliable power and it has the best battery still good in 2020 pcv5 power bomb header hmf exhaust k&n filter kit and it rips still stock tires Alba nerf bars help keep me safe the headlights do suck I have full PRM full skid plats the I had rhino lined so it has more weight added I’m 230lbs and it still pulls me hard I race a RZR RS1 with trinity exhaust and air intakes with a tune and I beat him 700r for life 🤙🏽
My bulb went out in 2018 kodiak and the dealership wanted $23 for 1 bulb.. I went to tractor supply and bought one for $4.99 .. better brighter than Yamaha.
I’ve had monster duals on my old 660 raptor they sound amazing and performed, going with the monster again on my 2017 700se , along with a fci intake and pc5
Hey bud.. I had a bored z400 that was fun as hell... my brother had a predator that I could not outrun at top end.. if I want the elite, the 450r or the 700r which would you prefer?.. Ltr450, 450r Honda, or the 700r? Thanks man.
Loved the review man...U are so right about them headlights my headlights didn’t last long at all that’s another reason I went with the led pods by auxbeam and it helps me out alot when me and friends ride at night I have a video on my channel u can check out...but I wonder who was that person comment u looked over 🤔🤣🤣🤣🤣💪🏾💪🏾🤘🏾
Awesome thanks brother! I seriously thought that I've watched all your videos but I guess not 🤦🏼♂️ I missed that night ride. I'm going to check out out and maybe that will be an update soon! Also, your right 😂 you were that buddy I mentioned in my video that I overlooked in the comments 🤣🤣🤣 I'm surprised you caught that!
That's what several have suggested Im definitely going to look at some duel systems before making my decision but one thing that makes it tough is I'm on a budget and duals are more expensive 😑
I would go with Empire if I felt like blowing the extra money but since I don't feel like it I would just go with big gun sounds nice loud and it's affordable may not be the best but it works good
James Brand When Yamaha went to the single port exhaust on the newer models there’s very little advantage In going with a set of duel exhaust performance wise… They do sound good… I have a monster single system on my 2017 and was told there would be absolutely no gains showing on the dyno by using duals. Now … If you swapped the cylinder head with the older style that has the dual port exhaust… Then going with dual exhausts would help in the power output..And if had another chance to buy again ..it would be a coin toss between Monster and the new style Rossier...
I heard these guys had transmission problems from way back to now. Is there any validity to that or is it just poor riders complaining? Im asking because im stuck between this and a yfz450. I mainly run trails or dunes only no track riding.
Oh man I'm so sorry that I'm just getting around to this comment! So I haven't personally heard of any raptors having transmission problems but I will tell you this I have power shifted this thing almost every ride for 200 hours and if you're familiar with power shifting it puts a lot of stress on the engine and transmission and I have had zero issues.
I have a question. Here in my family we already have a car, but need something to go to work and back (and obviously on trips and stuff), but in Belgium (where i live) you need to be 24 years old to get a proper motorcycle drivers licence, and for these you need a normal car driving license (which i have). Would it be a good idea to use a raptor to go to work and back, and then also for the fun rides? Is it reliable enough for that?
I wonder how long the raptor 700 would last if it was written very easily cuz I'm thinking about getting one and that's all I was going to do is just ride down gravel roads around my house and that's it and never wind the engine out?
That's a very harsh comment. Took me 5 years to be able to get one and after getting one I decided to start a RUclips channel to where I could not only put out enjoyable content but also testing and tuning and with that comes durability testing. I chose to be a guinea pig so that way you guys could learn from my mistakes or know ahead of time of what parts may fail. Also you never know someone's financial position or challenges they may be facing like I said it took me over 5 years to be able to finally purchase the Raptor and then I have recently faced open heart surgery which is not only another financial challenge but the most difficult thing I've ever gone through. You should be more open-minded. I don't expect for you to respond back but an apology would be nice.
Haha!! "Glow worms" That was great!!! 🤣🤣🤣 Glad you like the machine and as far as nerf bars I plan to put them on eventually but I've never how to set on a quad before and so it's something that I just kind of overlook.
Out of the ones you said. Monster. But I'd get a full FMF. For anything from A supermoto to dirt machines..they look the best. Sound the best. And preform the best. Whats not to like? #FMF
So mine didn't come with an hour meter either from factory however soon as I bought it I put a hour meter on it. If you look at my older videos I had it mounted on top of my brake fluid reservoir. However right before this video is stopped working so I removed it. I bought another one that will display RPMs as well but I haven't put it on yet.
If you're going to be riding trails that have lots of turns and not a lot of straight aways I would go with 450. If you have areas with long straight aways and plan to be traveling really fast for long periods of time then the Raptor would be a better choice as it's RPMs will be a lot lower at 60 mph where as the 450 at 60 mph will be at much higher RPMs causing more wear and tear and fuel consumption. Also if you plan to be riding for a long time the Raptor will be much more comfortable.
@@bigstevegapping6315 on top end yes and I'll explain. The Raptor and the 450 have around the same horsepower but the Raptor has more torque earlier on. When you ride both of them the Raptor is going to feel like it's pulling much harder, however, the 450 will be accelerating nearly just as fast. Out of all the 450s I've raced, the Raptor is still is a little quicker in the holeshot and mid-range, however, the reason the Raptor does not have a higher top speed than the 450s is because the Raptor is governed at 6,400 RPMs in 5th gear where as the 450s can rev out to their redline, given it the advantage over the Raptor on the top end.
@@bigstevegapping6315 check out my drag races and you'll see really the power difference between the two. I haven't raced any YFZs on my channel as of yet but I have raced the TRX and LTR and you'll notice when the LTR and TRX were stock there was no competition the Raptor was much faster but once the TRX was modified with an exhaust, bigger jet, and hot cams, it was nearly dead even in the holeshot and mid-range and from time to time the Raptor was still ahead even with it being stock versus a modified 450, however, on the top end the TRX got it every time because of the Raptors governor.
Here's another one of your videos that I didn't get notified for wtf. March 15 I will be at a year and I have 200 hours lol very light hours😂 never wrecked and definitely doesn't have a bent frame and radiator I was seriously going out to talk about the quad you beat me to it

@@FREEDOMSYNDICATEOFFICIAL yeah I would I spent ages looking through forums a lot people on there were saying you can't go wrong with Barker's, Monster or Empire Industries. Curious 700 engine less maintenance then ltr 450? Or yamaha 450? I got a triton 450 (hyosung 450 engine) but with better frame thrn hyosung. I wanted a ltz400 quad.. The engine last longer but street legal they are 3000€ atleast (sometimes 2500-3000€ but like trash condition) mainly 3000€ atleast or not street legal is 1500-2000€.. I mean a 400cc would be good enough but the higher price was not interesting... So i left that in the dirt... Ltr/yfz 450 not street legal 2500€ ish till 4000€ for a pimped one. Street legal not really interested in those in road legal. But they are 4000-5000€ So i started looking for others. Found goes hyosung 450. And dinli masai 450 don't like the fuji subaru engine to much negative about engine failure... And the quad where ugly but cheap 1800-2500€ for dinli 450 road legal. Goes hyosung 450 same 2200-2600€ Then found the triton (access motor) same engine but a way better frame. 2500-3000€ Street legal. Found mine for 2000€ all clean mint condition 4000km Crd exhaust (extra option from factory) Runs great its a high rpm engine. Like rage it if you want power make it scream. Not used to it i was doing chill but nope fuking send it and its fucking insane. Love it. But just curious about engine maintenance... Its a enduro quad and the engine should last longer then a ltr450... That is make for racing. But still learning about it.. Don't wanna fuck it..
I'm not familiar with those other brands so I can't say much there. I recently bought my son an Apollo 125 but not sure who actually makes the engine. I guess we'll see how it holds up. As far as the 700... The 700 is less maintenance than a 450 simply because it's a single overhead cam engines with lower compression ratio compared to the 450's which are dual overhead cam with high compression engines which cause much more heat and stress to the engine which causes the need for rebuilds more often. Also, it's quick and easy to adjust the cams on the Raptor due to the single overhead cam.
@@FREEDOMSYNDICATEOFFICIAL owwww makes sense yes that is what my oncle told me dual cams or something. ahhh okay yeah i know the ltz400 do last for ever compaired to a 450 ltr or something. who will do tops wiht some good luck and maintenance 50h befor needing a rebuild. ltz400 seem them do over 100h no problem. i guess that might be a reason why ltz400 are so expensive less maintenance and last longer so cheaper at the end. (still not really justifies the 3000€ price vs my 2000€ price for the 450cc more power for cheap i take cheaper and more power) just hope it wont bite me in the ass with maintenance i mean i dont drive every day. once in a while at my oncle race track (you can see some video on my channel) otherwise at home havent really drivin it when i dont work its raining or to wed.... ow a dirt bike? or quad? either way those 125cc horizontal engines right? they are all based on honda, those cheap things last for ever. we had a dirt bike that has been tro water like it was spitting out water ran fine after. a quad with a quad loncin 110cc meduim size (50€) lasted 6 years thing always started first push even after 2 year sittin outside. (inutil i put the wrong spark plug in at and bend the valves.... oups) anyway those cheap things are fun cause the engine will always go on... the frames often don't follow.... but nothing a welder cant fix. i still have my adly 300cc quad need to clean carb and sell it. might sell it to my dad since he got a china bashan 200cc quad that i hate... it ran. but tired or fixing it... was cheap but cheap shit.... i should have known.... had one befor should have said no to him to buy it.
@@FREEDOMSYNDICATEOFFICIAL lets just hope my triton 450 will last me a while. i guess i will do a check up around 6000km to be sure... i mean its kinda alot of work to disassemble it. and by no mean i know what im doing.. i just know how to unscrew stuff and google it :)
@@reggiexp69 it's still interesting to hear that the 400 is more expensive than the 450 because here in the States they are less than the 450's. But in your case the 400 will be cheaper when it comes to maintenance so in the long run it'll probably be cheaper to purchase the more expensive 400. The Apollo is a Chinese dirt bike and your right from my experience in the past it was the frames that were weak and cheap. But it was a good starter bike for my son.
It tends to over 9K in every gear except in final gear (5th) which is sweet to a governed 6400. Yeah it is crazy because my son's Raptor 90 hits the rev limiter at top speed.

Thanks brother!!! That would be a dream come true for sure my man! 🤘

Any advice/things to look out for when buying a used 700?
Monster exhaust fci intake pcv Cuavo racing tune! I had to relearn the whole bike bc it’s that much of a difference. Unbelievable torque
I've been in contact with him and that's exactly what I'm going to go with! Thanks for the advice! 👍
Did you ride it hard in those 100 hours?
Very hard! I've pretty much got it pegged at all times.
One day you will go to sell it... and probably wish you hadn't said that as it might put some off. Nice machine though!
Thank You for Your review. Waiting for the dealer buying 1 for me and 1 for my Son. Will look for those lamp covers now. Very excited Thanks Again Brother 👍🏻
Np brother 👍 Yes don't forget to cover the lens. Have fun on your new quads bro!!! 🤘
I don't see the need for replacing the headlights. Give them a polish and a protective coating. That's what mechanics do anyways.
I just bought a 2020 Raptor 700r SE in Red and Gray and I’m loving it! Great review on it!
Sweet bro!! Is this your first Raptor? Thanks I appreciate the kind words! Have fun and be safe!

Red and grey is 2019
I have the exact quad and my carrier just went out on me yesterday.
Wow change the brakes twice! How many hours do you think are on your quad? That sucks about the carrier bearings!
QUADNATION 929 I probably have well over 100 hours of full send. Lots of jumping probably didn’t help my carrier out too much but that’s the way it goes.
What's the difference between three raptor 700, raptor 700r and raptor 700se?? Wondering which one to purchase, thanks for responding in advance.
Parents are finally gonna get me one they were a little scared at first but now I’m getting one sometimes this year
Awesome! Just respect the machine, you'll be safer and they'll be more confident with your riding. Have fun riding bro!

I got a 2019 base model raptor 700 and has been so great got 90 hours and 2200 miles just subscribed as well 👌🏻
Thanks for the support man! 👍 Has yours held up good?
Rozzi Exhaust if I had to choose between those 3
Yes sir! They probably have the best sound as far as the note imo! But I love the other two as well 🤷🏼♂️
I went with 22x12.5x9 rear super swamper, and for regular riding 22x11x9 front 23x7x10 front.
I appreciate you giving us a little insight on your builds and dream machines. By the sounds of it that's one bad Raptor you got! 🦾🦾🦾
Love reviews from people who don’t do their own maintanence
The red bulbs are a great idea!!! 😁😁😁
Do you mind sharing who makes the lens covers? Thanks
A raptor 700 is my dream quad
i've got 500 hours on mine, just now bringing it in for a rebuild. Never brought it in for a service or anything. Got word back from the shop that it doesn't even need a rebuild yet. These machines take so much abuse and just keep trucking.
Wow! Thanks for sharing brother! That's really assuring for me! 😎👍
I'm sure the quality could be better for the headlights but it's mainly the location. You change that you totally change the look of the quad.
I do agree with you on that that it would change the look completely. And I'm a fan of how the headlights currently look so I wouldn't want them to change that up. I guess really in this case the best case scenario would be for Yamaha to carry the lens covers from the factory.
Would you recommend this over a utility atv? Does it handle better? What's your opinion on used VS new?
Yes I love sport quads because of their speed and maneuverability. They do handle better because they are made for speed but a utility quad is definitely the way to go if you wish to go mudding.
If you plan to keep it a very long time you might as well just buy new. But if you're going to be trying out a few different bikes then you definitely want to buy used just to save that hit of depreciation.
@@FREEDOMSYNDICATEOFFICIAL thank you so much. Gonna get a Raptor 450. Just gonna buy property first

What is your cleaning process after riding ? any specific products or techniques to have it looking so clean ? Thanks

He did and I hear a lot of folks talking great about those duals! ✊

100 hrs on that chain , you might want to replace it or buy a case saver before you put new tyres on the back .

Yamaha Raptor is the best sport quad ever
Without being bias 😆 I would have to agree with you! 👍
I ride it hard guys… Pause ! Great video man

I wonder how long the raptor 700 would last if it was written very easily cuz I'm thinking about getting one and that's all I was going to do is just ride down gravel roads around my house and that's it and never wind the engine out?
Probably 20 years before a rebuild
Monster exhaust, PCV, FCI from cuervo. I plan to get it for my 2017 raptor 700 😬

This guy sounds like the type to go to his mechanic for no reason just because he can
Actually, If you were to follow the channel you would come to realize that I'm my own mechanic lol.
Tear it up rich boy
Yes the headlights are terrible. It,s like someone put glowworms in jars and called a day. Nice machine, why no nerfbars? Good review
Haha!! "Glow worms" That was great!!! 🤣🤣🤣 Glad you like the machine and as far as nerf bars I plan to put them on eventually but I've never how to set on a quad before and so it's something that I just kind of overlook.

pete hager has a great sounding raptor see what he is using
Might be a stupid question but how do you check your hours? Mine dosent have a hour meter
Let's play a drinking game : take a shot every time he says "hard" or "I ride it hard"... 🤣🤣
I am a rider who like to drag race and trail ride and street ride and I need something fast do you think I should get the yfz 450 or the raptor 700
QUADNATION 929 I will have a lot of straight aways but I heard the yfz is faster than the raptor
QUADNATION 929 and the yfz have more compression than the raptor

I sent you a response on the other video about the LTZ 400 and how much I like them. Did you get it?
QUADNATION 929 I did thank you
Go with monster exhaust fci n tunes from cuervo racing u won't be disappointing
It's funny you say that because I just sent him a message about pricing. I haven't received a response back as of yet.
Do you run skid plates on Machine at all?
At the time of this video I had my factory skid plate off because I had recently inserted a time cert into the oil drain plug. I have since put the factory skid plate back on.
u so get a FMF exhaust or the Yoshimura exhaust
If I didn't have monster I would definitely get yoshimura! 😁😁
Just Subscribe . Just picked up a cherry 2018 because of this review. Thanks!!
Sameee 2018 for me too
Awesome bro! Same color?
Awesome bro! Same color?
Hell yea man!
2018 700se that was only rode 10 times beautiful condition
💪
I've got a 2011 I went with Barker duals in the end.
If you had to do it all over again would you go back to Barker's?
@@FREEDOMSYNDICATEOFFICIAL yeah I would I spent ages looking through forums a lot people on there were saying you can't go wrong with Barker's, Monster or Empire Industries. I liked the look of the Barker's and I noticed the difference straight away after switching from the full FMF that I got with the Raptor. The sound makes smirk every time I start it.
@@samspencer922 Man I can't wait! And knowing that it makes you smirk every time just makes me more anxious 😂
But they are 4000-5000€
So i started looking for others.
Found goes hyosung 450. And dinli masai 450 don't like the fuji subaru engine to much negative about engine failure... And the quad where ugly but cheap 1800-2500€ for dinli 450 road legal.
Goes hyosung 450 same 2200-2600€
Then found the triton (access motor) same engine but a way better frame. 2500-3000€ Street legal.
Found mine for 2000€ all clean mint condition 4000km
Crd exhaust (extra option from factory)
Runs great its a high rpm engine.
@@reggiexp69 try to find the rebuild on RUclips. You'll be surprised it's probably on there.
Go to any auto store and buy some headlight lens restorer , those lights will clean up fine.
HMF is also a great Exhaust
I've never heard the HMF in person but it does sound good in videos
I have the HMF IT doesn’t stay well on the fmf power bomb header
MONSTER , END OF DISCUSSION.
Went with it! 🦾🦾🦾
do these have hour meters and odometers??
Hi I’m new to your channel any review about the same quad but 2007 ???
Bro that’s crazy my raptor 80 revs to 9600 and the 700r only revs to 6400?
It tends to over 9K in every gear except in final gear (5th) which is sweet to a governed 6400. Yeah it is crazy because my son's Raptor 90 hits the rev limiter at top speed.
@@FREEDOMSYNDICATEOFFICIAL yeah I probably need something bigger at 14(people recommend a raptor 350 or 450) but I don’t have enough property to make it worth it. I have the thing pinned at 9600 for hours on end most every day since I was 10 and I’ve had no problems with it. Amazing.
Ps. Can’t believe I got to chat with you! Thanks for answering so fast!
I have the governor screw out, and it only does 30. I really only want 5-10mph more, is that possible? I don’t think so, but I can hope
Who is it that makes covers for the lights?
You can find them online at lamin-x and on that site you can get the headlight lens covers available in 5 colors: Clear, Tint, Gunsmoke, Yellow, and Blue.
Thank you
Monster or empire exhaust is what I always see everybody have and FCI intake
MSD blaster also for fuel controller
I've been looking very closely at the full system black Monster exhaust. But I also love the other two!
QUADNATION 929 you can’t go wrong with either I think it all balls down to personal preference
@@IBDASHOOTER your right. I think the Monster with the red exhaust tip is going to probably look best on my quad due to the red frame and decals. BTW I installed wheel spacers on the back axle the day after I filmed this video. I'll be installing the Alba Racing A-Arms this weekend and then drop another video of the install and all new look so be looking out for it 👍
QUADNATION 929 will do man 💪🏽
Some custom fab leds would look great
Yes! I agree! Thanks for the idea! 👍
Try Barker's exhaust
