it’s deceitfully simple looking. I know it’s difficult to achieve the grasses and the sky with this same brush and I admire your eye and ability to create a beautiful picture . Joyful to watch!
I have to admit that I haven't watched your tutorials for a while, although you were my very first RUclips watercolor teacher! This was just awesome and I will start to watch all the ones I have missed. This is just lovely! Thanks a bunch!
You are splendid. Amazing ease and great clarity in stroked. Thanks for your tutorials. I am learning a lot from watching your lessons. Thank you, Sir ! Nathan from India
Amazing how many different colours and tones you got with two colours. Also interesting, was what you said about artist quality not ending up with a green. Must remember that thank you.
I see you’re using a new brush and setup. I’ve never seen you use this brush or the plate before. I also do not recall you using fluid paints before. It’s a nice change :-)
Thanks. I've had and used this brush for many years. As for the pro set-up, I was hoping the plate was heavy enough not to fly around as I mixed colors.
@@PeterSheelerart Try using a nonslip mat under your plate or just use an old kitchen towel. The towel will minimise the movement quite a bit; you can also use it to dry your brush or remove access liquid/paint.
hello! i am newly learning watercolours and I don't have utramarine blue in my palate . I tried replacing it with perssian blue but every time the yellow and blue overlap the give a greenish tint , thus running the painting . how can I solve this problem?
Thank you, Peter. I always enjoy watching your videos. I’m curious…you mention that you use high quality paints, which allows you to get the beautiful grays, but I don’t see the brand in your notes. Do you mind sharing?
what kind of brush is this? is it soft? is it a synthetic brush for watercolour? I ask, because I have two quite similar looking. one is for watercolour and the other one actually for acrylics, but it can be used in watercolour in some ways. with all the faux hair brushes and such, I never know, what people use. I would rather like to understand, how the softness of this brush is. it is obviously no mob brush. with harder brushes I had the experience, that the paper can get very very slightly flaky. and I as beginner, can hardly tell, is it the brush or because I do something wrong. going to often back and force and you as a pro can estimate it better? because I can see, esp. with small size paintings, one can easily make it work with one brush. but I suspect, only people with good experience cand do it. and because I hadn't figured these things out, when I try to recreate things, I often wonder, is it the brush or the handling of it. and if so, what kind of brush is that really. PS: I have goat hair brushes and such. I know, I can make it work with two brushed after another, with the troubles I have. But I like to learn more

Looks as though you did some more lifting to straighten the horizon line and cropped the bottom edge more?
Lol. I already don't remember.

That is so pretty. I don't have yellow ochre. Do you think new gamboge would work? I'll have to give it a try.
I don't know. I don't have new gamboge :)
