As a person who frequents Bernheim with my children, we are so grateful to have these giants locally! Their story fascinates and fuels the young creative minds. Hours and hours have been spent exploring every aspect of the pieces, so many children walking on the feather stones and in awe over the skull....People from near and far are visiting and hopefully expanding their thoughts on recycling, repurposing, conservation and care for our mother Earth. I could go on and on but really just want to express my thankfulness that Bernheim & Mr. Dambo (and all those who helped) created such a fantastic exhibit which we will continue to enjoy over and over♥️ #LetThemBeLittle #BusyRaisingGoodHumans

I just saw a video about the ones in Copenhagen. So happy to know there are some near enough that I can see them!

interesting idea, sort of "breathing life" into a dead wood. Nice work. I like the recycling part and artist's viewpoint as well. I bet they will look even better when they weather a couple of years outdoors. And am also wondering what is their life span - for how long they will last in the elements - I imagine they will need a constant maintenance after a few years. And curious what it costs to build a sculpture like this.

We enjoyed our visit today! @thomas dambo - my 9 year old daughter is wondering if Mama Loumari has a baby statue in her belly?

I am not sure if he will have a book for his art. Paper is from wood. I think it would counteract on what he’s doing.
