Hi, thanks for the video!! I was in the museum a few weeks ago, WHAT A FABULOUS COLLECTION!! You have to go see it!! To be so close to history with these cars is amazing!! Thanks for the insights !
Prior to 2024, McLaren last won the constructor's championship in 1998, not 2018. You're still the man and my favorite singer/car encyclopedia, Donald.
One morning David de Muzio allowed my son to sit on the front tire of the Ferrari while he was switching out the steering wheels on it . He handed my son the wheel they use to move it around while he put on the real deal racing steering wheel . It was the coolest experience for the both of us .
Fantastic display! My daughter graduated from Salve in Newport so we don’t find ourselves there as often but I always dropped in to the Audrain whenever I could. For this display, you would be asking me to leave 😂
Great to see you have the proper livery on Prost's MP4/4 and Michael's F310B. All the models, including my Lego, and your video of the McLaren going up the hill at Goodwood, have the tobacco sponsorship removed. Being a Lotus owner I was fortunate to visit the F1 experience in Toronto and see Ayrton Senna's Lotus 99T along with the nose cone of Jim Clark's Lotus 49. I did see that Ferrari at the Ferrari Finali Mondiale at Daytona in 2016. I have tinnitus from the V10s at this very moment. All great machines and the greatest drivers.
Goode evening Gentiemen . So glad you have a "real" passion for Formula1 and understand the politics involved. I know l'm old and blind but is the Ferrari absent of it's power unit ? Whereas we have a glutenous supply of Honda power units . Thankyou both ❤❤
Just when I thought you could not get more interesting... I need to drive down there and see your museum first hand. I donlt live far away, just finding teh free time to do it is a challenge. Cheers
"Turbo Lag"... reminds me of a 1986 T-Bird Turbo, I once took for a test ride...As you Accelerated, the turbo would kick in and out with such a Kneejerk that your head would go thru the windshield! It was a bucking bronco experience whenever the turbo engaged!!!... for safety sake I never bought the car...
Hi Donald, I just love your passion, knowledge and enthusiasm about anything to do with cars, especially Italian, as I do. BTW do you speak fluent Italian? I look forward to any and every new video you have put out.
First step, give it a thumbs up, second step, put it on pause, third step go get comfortable & grab a nice hot drink and fourth step sit down and enjoy this video 😁
Everyone knows Irvine should have been champion in 1999. Had Schumacher crashed out one race earlier, Irvine certainly would have had the points by the end.
Not too familiar with 1990s F1 but quite familiar with 1990s NBA. There aren't two Michael Jordans to ever walk the planet, let alone to play on the same team. Even Scottie has said that much.
This "casual" F1 fan is not going to spend my heard earned dollars to go listen to the worst sounding engines in F1 history. The 80s V6s turbos had so much more character despite being the same displacement. I'll happily attend a vintage race with a dozen screaming Cosworth DFVs though. Or a Ferrari clienti event with V10s, V8s and V12s. The spectacle today isn't worth the horrible ticket prices, insane lines, and worse than TSA rules on what you can bring into a race. Unless you're in the pits in NHRA where youre definitely smelling fuel, we have 3 senses to experience cars on a track as a spectator. I spend my money attending races that satisfy all 3 senses see, feel and hear.
Yadda yadda... racing fans dont hinge anything on sound. Comparing it to some primitive 80's era engines is also pretty ridiculous - they have nothing in common except for the number of cylinders. You can rely on the fact, that if it was possible to make these engines sound a bit better without sacrificing performance, they would do it. In fact, they did. What you have here is as good as it gets when you want nearly a thousand horses out of 1.6l at a fantastic low weight - Formula 1 was never about your ears, it was always about racing at the bleeding edge of technology. If you dont like it because of that, dont watch it.
Same as usual, they talk endlessly about the car while they stand next to it, but they barely give us any detail images. What part do you guys think is more interesting. The stories you tell are already well known by people who are interested in these videos in the first place.
Yeah, MP4/4 was great car, no question. But if Prost and Senna would drove for Ferrari in 1988, they’d still end up 1-2 in the Championship. Let’s not forget…
McLaren MP 4/4 🙌 Surely the greatest F1 car ever. That iconic car + Senna = 🤯
This man is a treasure
You guys are really stepping up your game. Historical race videos make the commentary come alive. Keep up the good work.

Lovin' your work. Keep it up 👍
Can't stop, won't stop. Enjoy!
Those trousers are definitely a statement Mr. O. 😅❤❤😎

David is the best and we couldn’t do what we do without him. Glad you both enjoyed your time at the museum!
Finally I am the first to view this fabulous and informative channel!

We’ll be here when you find the time. Until then, we hope you continue to enjoy the videos!

Every time I see the Prost McClaren on display, I just want to climb in the cockpit and just imagine...

Here here! Totally agree. Are we the same "casual" fans that also like the sound of the Porsche Carerra GT & Lexus LFA with their V10s?

@@LillyRocket I do watch it. From home. Where I don't pay to attend a race. That was my entire point.
You're an idiot...the casual fan is everywhere at these races, more women and young people than ever before. Wake the eff up boomer.
Is Lewis jumping boat to Ferrari ?
If so I I will be rooting for him.
I wish long ago that F1 went their own way and dropped the FIA.

If racing was the same, it would be very boring. No?
Irvine? Really?
A.i. Sound is terrible
Nothing special, i you know formula 1 this is basic history !
