Looks like a good program to build discipline.

    • @YEDxYED

      It’s no longer about discipline.
Those that are here are going to become officers.

I think all young men and women in this country should be required to serve in the military if able. It build good self esteem, teaches you to be the best you can and appreciate what you have in this country that many take for granted!

Solute to all ROTC cadets!! I strongly hope DOD increases monthly stipend from $420 to a much higher level. They need more nutrition, better shoes and supplements as well.

Im a first year cadet in Flight d, WV. The JROTC program, I've gotta say these guys look alot more disciplined than us, much better order, by the looks of it, harder PT, and a strict dress code, JROTC is honestly alot more academic than anything I'm seeing here, the NROTC looks like the place to be 😂

You realize that in this video, they showed what they wanted to show.
Regardless, nothing they do here will truly prepare you for your duties.
You will still be looked at as a butter bar and you will have to earn the respect of the enlisted and the officers around you

@Charlie Fresquez NROTC is both Navy and Marines since the Marine corps falls under the department of the Navy. The man speaking is the assistant Marine officer instructor. all assistant Marine officer instructors are prior drill instructors and have used that speech many times.

It's good for advertising the program, as well as showing a bit more of what NROTC is about. I suppose it could help in weeding out the"free college" midshipmen.
