If you’re currently a High school Junior, begin your research now! Apply to summer seminar! You’ve got this!!

Class of 2017 here. This definitely brought back memories. 8:51 where I used to walk back from the library every evening after nightly studies for exams. What good times I had.

I’m about to start my freshman year of hs. Really gonna be pushing myself. I really want to go to the Naval Academy! I don’t play any sports and I’m not in band so I feel like that definitely won’t help! ☹️

Hey Hannah! Replying to say that I got med DQ'd last year from USNA and other academies BUT that if you still wanna do military in college- ROTC is a fantastic way to go. Sadly my Med DQ also applied to NROTC (because I sent them the same medical) but this year I started AFROTC in college and I love it. I went to USNAs summer seminar in 2018! It was an amazing time I hope you get in! Also words of advice if you do: don't bring sneakers that you want to keep clean- lots of kids my year had to end up throwing theirs out, I didn't, but it happened.
